Lack knowledge on more complicated systems. Customer is not always right with this company.

Give this HVAC company a call if you are looking for quality service and installationread more

***OWNER BLOCKED ME AND MY REVIEW FROM FACEBOOK Just…read morereceived a phone call originally that my home could not be found, after a few seconds of explaining (yet again) what was needed and expected by the company on a current unit we're having complications with and future contracting for other units to be put in.... Kyle was not too happy and fond in the idea that my household is getting quotes from a few other companies for heating and cooling. "Wait wait wait, I'm confused because you're calling me but telling me you have multiple other people coming in and out of the house for quotes. So what is the job that you need done?" Us: "both... we need the mini split looked at and have the remotes reconnected plus we're looking at quotes. That's what you do to get the best prices and knowledge for a job that needs to be done". According to Kyle, AC and cooling companies "don't do that to each other", meaning the business industry is not a competitive market and therefore the person you call first has to be the person you hire. That's the impression you just put out and that was the most inappropriate phone call coming from a business begging for 'votes' on the quality of your work and business. Guess my home will be the first to say that I would NOT recommend a company more concerned on their arrogance and pushing customers to not receive quotes on a multi thousand dollar job... not to mention how inappropriate it was to treat us like we can't afford $80.00 some dollars to replace remotes on our current mini split. Thank you for wasting our valuable time.

My husband and I very much recommend Howell Heating! Zack was very professional. I called at 8:00…read morea.m., explaining that our air conditioning unit had just gone out. Of course, the next few days were going to hit 88-degrees! Zack mentioned he had a cancellation for an install and came out that afternoon for a Friday install of both the air conditioning unit and our furnace (which was needed). We live in a townhome, and the utility room is extremely small, making it a difficult install, but Zack handled it like a champ! Everything works great, and we are so thankful! Great work, Howell Heating!!

My in-law and I recommend Howell Heating! Zack is professional. He is approachable via phone calls…read moreand text messages and pleasant to do business with. He came out the next day after my furnace was red-tagged. I had an HVAC technician from a competitor perform to a tune-up on my 30-year-old furnace. Unfortunately, my furnace was red-tagged because it was a safety hazard to operate after several of cracks were found. This could lead to carbon monoxide poisoning. In addition, the flame rolled out from a block heat exchanger, which it was not supposed to do. I received a quote to replace the furnace from a competitor. I called my in-law for help because we are first-time homeowners, my husband was at work, and neither of us knew anything about the HVAC system. My in-law called Howell Heating and explained the situation. Zack gave us a quote, which is more affordable by $2000 and includes removal and disposal of old equipment, rehooking of existing electrical/ductwork, equipment, labor, and materials, and includes a 1-year labor/10-year part warranty, as well as 20-year heat exchanger warranty. Zack was also patient in explaining the differences between a single and two-stage furnace. We have a rambler that is 1500 sqft. Zack replaced a unit similar to what we had. He did not upsell or push products. Overall, I did not feel obligated to lock into a sale compared to other competitors who may be pushy salesmen. On the day of the installation, Zack arrived promptly. He had several large cloth rags to protect my floors. He got right to work. Within two hours, I have heat again. He cleaned up his work area. I will definitely call Zack next time we have a heating or AC issue.
