Wings are awesome!!!!.Service is ok, but the wings and cold beer are worth it. Get the wings extra crispy... I'm gonna give it an OMG 9.4!!!!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. Good food. Not very busy for a Saturday, though, so it was pretty quiet.

A great place to grab a beer and dinner and watch a basketball game if you want to also chat without loud live music. The server was helpful and attentive but the real surprise was the food. Everything was so good!! I had the gumbo and was so pleasantly surprised! I was not expecting to be gushing over gumbo at a Nashville bar but I'll definitely be back.

First time we went everything was great! Second time they added bacon to salad (not listed on menu & pescatarian). Bartender did not know drink menu. Forgot our sides until we were almost finished with our meal. Will go back but not for awhile. Dive bar feel!

Day 3 of our Nashville experience. We've eaten a lot, drank a lot, and this review comes from a slight hungover reviewer. We considered going to Hattie B's Chicken (right across the street), however the line was going to take over an hour. We were brought in by their have priced mimosas sign but our party was hesitant because it was pretty empty which is a rarity in Nashville especially at one on a weekend. However we decided to brave it. Upon entering we were greeted by a very friendly bartender/waitress . She was funny and captivating and helpful the whole meal. We got the mimosas, they were good. The bushwaker was a fan favorite. I really enjoyed my salad. It was fresh and the blue cheese dressing was creamy. The chicken tenders were well done (not the best of my life but good enough). The queso was reminiscent of beer cheese. It was thick, creamy and delicious. The chips were good. My friend also got the jalapeño BLT. She enjoyed it. The fries and dipping sauce served with it was good. My side salad was good. Moral of the story -- the prices were amazing for Nashville (side salad $5, large salad with chicken $11, draft beers $6). The laid back atmosphere was a great break from the craziness of broadway. I would recommend when you need a good hungover meal. Note - no live music, no one under 21.

Great service and reasonable drink prices for Nashville. Very low key place to get a drink. No live music but still worth a stop.

I am certain that the hotdogs made are made to perfection, with the Kani and/or Dog for a Cause being the ones my wife and I chose, pairing well with our drinks Customer Service: Exceptional service, expectations exceeded. Our bartender and chef, Mike W., went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and catered to our needs in order to having the best experience here at Connie's Price: Approximately $59.28, not including tip for 2 people. Highly recommend going for happy hour from 5pm-7pm to get the best happy hour deals. The price as stated above was for 2 drinks/person and 2 hotdogs Ambience: Indoor seating providing tropical tiki vibes. A wonderful ambience to converse with others Overall: Best Experience. If I were a local here, I'd be here at least once a week with or without company; Connie's would definitely be a place I'd bring family/friends to for drinks and/or hotdogs

Located in the back of the old Cafe Coco (RIP) and attached to new all-day hangout Verna, Connie's brings that quintessential dive bar vibe, but with really tasty food and some nicer drink options. I've been a few times now and I'm struck by how much I've missed having a chill, no-frills hangout spot in West/Midtown. It's wood-paneled and dark, there's ample seating (ideal for groups) but also a fun place to come solo. Since it's open late night, also very clutch to come before/after a show at Exit/In (which is right in front of this bar). Very affordable for Nashville: $13 cocktails ($9 at happy hour), $5-9 beers, and hot dogs for $6-8. For drinks, it leans towards classic cocktails, wine and beer with a few fun sneaky twists tossed in. The Yoo Hoo Espresso martini is one of those absolute sneaky hits, so dangerously tasty you are unlikely to have just one. I also loved the Gold Rush (banger flavors, expertly made like a craft cocktail, but in a dive bar setting!) A mix of high and low brow beers (the black peppercorn beer is a MUST), and some tasty NA drinks, including a CBD seltzer that was such a nice, refreshing sipper for a low-key night. The food menu keeps it simple but FUN: hot dogs with creative, Japanese-inspired toppings because who doesn't want a late night delicious hot dog? You can get a choice of vegan or classic hot dog and then all the fun Asian toppings. The Kani Dog is the crowd favorite: crab Rangoon dip topped and very filling. My personal favorite is the Tokyo Dog, which is Japanese bbq sauce, kewpie, bonito, togarashi, and sesame. You can get a side of Zapp's chips and they also have that dreamy crab Rangoon dip as an appetizer with crackers! Connie's is brought to us by the team that made Bay 6 (also RIP) so special and a true local hang with excellent, feels-like-hanging-out-with-friends hospitality and attentive service. They are also putting on some fun programming, bringing back one of my all-time-favorite hangouts from Bag 6 - Monday Adult Coloring Night (think Bob Ross vibes with colored pencils and a bevvy, drawing on the bar!) Wednesday nights promise "Bar Fight Trivia," and I'm sure more fun to come. This is absolutely the kind of spot the Rock Block has been missing. Connie's nails that balance of good drinks, cheap food, and a no-frills, friendly hangout. Excited to make this a regular spot!

In fact, there is no food here whatsoever although it's very common to order food at Red's next door and have them deliver it to you as you nurse your beer and look for this mysterious supper club and lounge. Beer is all they serve here. Even the soft drinks come from a vending machine. Just beer. Cash only. The somewhat stern looking and tough acting barkeep told someone that this is a "music venue" because they have two live shows a night. I guess I can get behind that but during the day, this is Tennessee's oldest bar and there is no music playing inside at all, no radio, no nothing. It's extremely rough around the edges (the ceiling is heavily stained and more warped than not) but most of the customers are tourists who did NOT do their homework and didn't realize it's CASH ONLY. There's an ATM inside, so I guess you have to pay the high transaction fee, fool. It's divey looking for sure but a real dive bar has scary locals inside and not 75% tourists with their fanny packs. And absolutely, please do order a Red's hot chicken sandwich next door and have them deliver it to you at Springwater. It's the best hot chicken sandwich you'll have in Nashville.

It's practically the opposite of anything you'll find on Lower Broadway. But, it's a great place to hang out with friends. The long Bar has a lot of stools. There are also tables with chairs and a nice pool table. The staff here are super friendly and they are always very welcoming.

I always tip 20%+ even for mediocre service BUT I fully believe that when there is auto gratuity you should tell the patron or you're being a bit deceptive.
