My husband and I have lived here for two years. We've only had one major incident during that…read moretime--a neighbor stole our package on camera and denied it to the police. Despite that frustrating situation, the office staff and maintenance crew have been amazing and always try their best. The staff was incredibly helpful and supportive when that trouble occurred, as well as with other events. I always recommend Mark-Taylor properties to my coworkers and friends. My mother-in-law only rents from them, which is actually how we ended up here. I am truly a firm believer in Mark-Taylor properties!

This place is terrible. We were supposed to be moved in by a certain date and the day before we…read morewere supposed to get our keys they told us we were not able to until the following day (but hey we got a $25 gift card to Uncle Bears). When we arrive, the dishwasher was broken, paint chipping, painters tape left in appliances, doors grinding when closing, poorly caulked shower that they re-did while we lived there and it still needed to be redone. So I wouldn't be surprised if there is mold in that bathroom. The parking here is horrific and the employees use guest parking spots near the front so you either have to pay for parking with the Zark app, or park a mile away in other guest parking. Then they sent out a notice for people not to park in the front of the office because all the guest parking was full for future residents, but would not have employees park elsewhere to accommodate the people living there (weird concept, I know). The gate was broken so many times and took weeks to fix there would be random people parking there, and staying for days. Anytime you send any feedback it's basically a thanks and go fuck yourself. All in all, we kept our space maintained, and received a whopping $19 back from our deposit. I barely leave reviews because personal experience does not always reflect everyone's experience. But, after everything, a $19 deposit was a big fuck you.

We occupied the unit for 1 yr and 5 months no pets no major damage and they sent an itemized bill for thousand and change for move out fees! PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COST! It's not right to be charged for a carpet replacement that has absolutely NO damage and to paint over a few holes from picture and tv mounting. My last stay at Acero Cooley Was Nothing like this experience. I wouldn't Recommend this apartment complex at any cost. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

This is by far the worst complex I've ever lived in. Everything feels cheap and neglected. When I…read moremoved in, the apartment was filthy--there was urine on the toilet and walls, thick dust everywhere, and it was obvious no one had bothered to clean before I arrived. The grounds are constantly dirty, with dog poop all over, and many units have serious water damage. The management is extremely unprofessional. Be very careful before signing anything--they'll talk about a 12-month lease during the application process but then slip in an 18-month term without clearly telling you. In my case, they had me sign a form stating the lease would end in 12 months, then moments later added an 18-month lease that I didn't notice right away. It felt deceptive and dishonest. To make matters worse, maintenance will just walk into your apartment without any notice. It's scary and a total violation of privacy. There's also a constant police presence here. While the place is advertised nicely online, actually living here is a totally different experience. I absolutely cannot wait to leave. Do your research and read every single word before committing to this place!!!
