Have Visited this place since it opened and this is some of the better pizza in the area whole southwest area of Texas. It really is good pizza. For a small town this place has great pizza. The atmosphere is fun and it's something new for Uvalde. However, prices seem to be outrageous at the bar. After buying two margaritas made with Don Julio and a pizza the price came out to $70 and when asked why, turns out it's 25 dollars a drink. A bottle of Don Julio is 40 dollars at the liquor store. Unreasonable prices for a drink that wasn't even a cocktail. Service lacks when busy causing major confusion and down servers which made an order come out over an hour after ordering. This place could be something great if properly managed and drinks properly priced. Suggestion, get the pizza to go and enjoy at home. read more

Had to come into Uvalde after having some issues with our vehicle at Neal's in Concan. While waiting in town we decided to eat here. It was a fabulous decision. Food was extremely fresh and delicious. Restaurant as clean and up to par (Roma times). When we go back to Uvalde, we'll definitely eat here again. read more

Ignore the BS 1-2 star reviews as I wasn't able to find truth behind any of it during my visit. Sooooo.. WOW WOW ... and WOW... I've been craving a good "real" pizza and I landed the right Yelp search while staying in Uvalde for work. So I ordered the stuffed mushrooms and they were by far amazing and juicy and the cheese in the whole cast iron skillet was the bomb. Do it for an appetizer too!! ... Then I ordered a large El Chupacabra that has pulled Porto and fresh jalepeno slices and I added bacon. Top notch amazing fresh crust and whole flavor yall. So, yesterday Saturday 01 APR 23 we walk in and are seated and ordered 1 hour 10 minutes (18:50 CDT) before the concert (20:00 CDT). She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed* and our young Padawan's orders come out in a reasonable fashion/time. Despite repeated interaction, inquiries and conversations with Front-of-House floor staff--my pizza NEVER showed up. I sent them ahead. At T- FIVE (5) MINUTES to Time-on-Target I aborted that and moved on to the MISSION OBJECTIVE ( The Concert at Uvalde Grand Opera House). We repeatedly stated our Time/MISSION parameters. "In all 'fairness', They were left unsupervised." Our observations-at-close-range: "No 'Adult' Supervision"--the oldest member-of-staff we hairy-eyeballed was aged 25 at most. Very apparent lack of proper coordination between Front-of-House and Back-of-House and no leadership/command overseeing the two and Operations. My family and I came here because of the awesome reviews. What we expected is definitely not what we received. Let's start off with we sat outside and the atmosphere was great. There was live music and a great ambiance. The positive abruptly stops there. We ordered the El Coyote. What could go wrong with an all meat pizza? EVERYTHING if you leave it to this restaurant. We waited a total of an hour and a half only to be told numerous times our pizza would be out shortly. Finally, I asked the server for some salads if it was going to be much longer. He told us they were cooking our pizza and it would be out soon. Only for him to come back and say he was sorry it wasn't ours so he would bring some salads. The server arrived with our salads and the manager. At this point I am beyond mad. There was no excuse for such poor service but alas I will still holding hope for the food. The manager said she would be comping our entire meal and would also bring some garlic knots for us to eat. Salads arrived looking wilted and sad. We were so hungry we drenched the pathetic salad with ranch and ate what looked edible. Do yourself a favor, buy a salad at HEB let it set in the fridge until the expiration date then eat it to get the same taste as this place. Moving along, garlic knots arrived hot and fresh but not very palatable. There was definitely not any garlic to these knots. More like crusty pizza bread. Another FAIL! Last but not least....the pizza! It finally showed up and it was another disappointment. Overcooked and all around BLAH. Moral of the story... Second time visiting this restaurant. Don't get the opportunity to go here since we don't live in town so it's only when we are passing through that we get to go. Both times we've gone it's be five stars! Both times we've gotten the garlic knots, pretty good, just depends on the cook. First time they were amazing and this time they were just good. They come with marinara sauce for dipping and have good flavor, just this time the bread was a little harder than last. Last time we ordered a supreme style (don't remember the name) and it was really good. One of the main reasons we went back was the pizza was good. This time we got the special, a chicken Alfredo pizza. Presentation was nice, you can tell it's a handmade pizza, not perfectly circular. Not a lot of chicken, but they did not hold back on the bacon. Flavor was all there and cooked just right! Definitely recommend this pizza if it's available, but any of their pizzas won't leave you hungry. Bar and grill environment and lots of beers on tap. We are extremely disappointed!!!! First and last time ordering online from this place! The website allows you to select a time for pick up but once you confirm and pay, you get a confirmation email with a different time than the one selected. We placed our order about an hour and half prior the selected time and yet had to wait about 20 minutes more. We thought, it fine it's artisan pizza, it will be worth it... Come to find out that our order came all wrong!!! One pie was missing toppings and the toppings we paid extra for. First time here. Came to town for kids volleyball game. Called in order over the phone. Asked for extra sauce on my pizza. She said okay, 30 mins. I got there in 10 and waited an additional 40 minutes for my pizza. So I slammed a few tall boy Dos XX's. Service was great! Beer ice cold! Pizza did not have extra sauce on it like I requested. I didn't bitch cause they didn't charge me for it either. It Really could-have used the extra sauce, it was lacking! But it was good! Wings were good! I will return and I recommend it. Update. As with a lot of businesses in this town, service and quality has fallen. They only use the brick oven...sometimes. Mostly you get limp pizza oven pizza. The servers are fine, but complacent... when you're not treated well and have revolving door managers, that happens. There is one pizza chef who is great and uses the oven...you have to go when he is there. The drinks are realllllllllllly expensive. They use a lot of pre prepared items. Cuts corners for expense but insults your customers because the quality is poor. Fresh is better. Sad. There are not many places to eat in this town. I hope it doesnt continue downward. read more

My hubby and girls were passing through Uvalde and this came up in places to eat. We tried La Migra pizza and pepperoni pizza. The name threw us off a bit but it was basically the works (sausage, pepperoni, veggies). Both pizzas were awesome. Crust was crunchy and tasty. Atmosphere was nice and service was great. If I could only give zero stars. My son's said his panini was okay. My Caesar salad consisted of lettuces maybe four little shreds of cheese and the chicken very bland. The worst, my son's food and mine came out . We finally after almost two hours gave up on my my significant other's pizza. Every table seems to have had a problem. Next to us wrong pizza. One table over the wings were half raw. Table that was seated already as we walked in, finally received their pizza as we were WALKING OUT! The 18" pepperoni with extra cheese was great for dinner and leftovers the next day. This was a great place to come when I was in town visiting my friend. Just happened to come in on Trivia Night. So much fun!

Above and beyond! We live in the Houston area and stopped in while travelling. We enjoyed a delicious meal outside on their patio--super fresh ingredients and great pizza, and the kids liked it too. Win win. We walked away from the table leaving our camera only to realize it hours later on the road. We called the restaurant in distress (this had ALL our family photos on it from the past two years!) and the manager, Mr. Johnny, quickly called back and offered to have it shipped. Not worth the hype, and I've never seen service this bad ever before. I came from out of state to visit family due to circumstances that have happened in Uvalde. Stopped by to get pizza since my cousin was recommending it so much. We got there and we were told AFTER we already ordered our drinks and appetizers, that the wait for pizza was going to be about an hour, ended up being more like 1hr 45min. During that hour and 45 minutes, we were never asked for refills, we had to ask for refills and things such as napkins, which he had to end up getting up and walking to get the stuff ourselves from the bar. After a couple of garlic rolls later, we had to leave before the food was even out, so we asked the waitress to put the pizzas in a box once they are done. Mind you, when i personally asked the waitress, she didn't stop walking and did not even look my way while i was talking to her, i even thought she didn't hear me, it was the worse service i have ever seen in my life. But it is not all, after that, we got home and the pizzas were cold, NOT EVEN WARM, they were cold (mind you my cousin live 2 minutes away and the boxes were NEVER opened). There is no way that if that pizza was right out of the oven, it would be completely cold by when we got home. And to top it off, one of the pizzas had pieces that didn't even looked like they go together. Never coming back here again. read more
