Fish and chips. It's cod but it's very oily.
Justo C.

While in Kerrville looking for a quick lunch, a friend suggested this seafood place. Now, Kerrville is not known for fine dining but this place ups the towns reputation a little bit. The food is good - not great. My wife ordered the burger and she loved it. She eats a burger at a seafood restaurant because she does not like seafood. I do! Anyway, I ordered the Fish and chips and a cup of seafood gumbo. It came in a bowl and yes, it was tasty. Not New Orleans good but hey, it's still Kerrville! The fried codfish but dripping in oil and that's the biggest complaint about the dish. It was difficult to hold it up because it was too oily. They may have to alter the cooking process with the oil already hot before putting the breaded fish to fry. Sometimes, frozen breaded fish come out oily. The service was excellent! Our server was friendly with a great smile and she was fast and efficient. All good things there. Overall, I took off one star for the oily fish and chips but, for a seafood place in Kerrville, this was a good place to eat!

The food was excellent. I had the blackened mahi mahi and my husband had the fried shrimp platter. Service was amazing, very friendly.

Excellent food and wonderful service! The shrimp and gumbo were delicious and the sauces really set off the dishes. We'll go back!

Great food choices, good service and nice interior. They really upgraded the interior from what it had been from the previous owner.

Slow service, expensive and mediocre quality food. Very nice decor. Doubt if we try again.

Had great shrimp tacos last week in the new facility. The restaurant looks really nice and clean inside.

Good food when you can find them open. Tried going at 2:00 on Thursday December 4, 2025 and they were closed!

When is the Junction location opening?

Talked to Scott the owner. It's looking like the end of May. They reconstructed the entire inside outside and bar. Remolding took longer than they expected

We sat outside and our waitress came up to the table with a sour face. You could say she was as cold as my friend's burger patty (which I'm told tasted like a frozen patty that hadn't been cooked long). I wish we had sat one section over and got the smiley, attentative waitress. My fish and chips on the other hand were packed with cajun flavor and nice and hot! I also tried the onion rings and they appeared fresh and homemade. I guess it depends on what you order. Maybe the seafood will just always be the better option at this spot. The bar area is full of regulars and fun characters. So I probably will give this place another chance and just steer clear of cold lady and cold burgers. I won't throw it out as an option due to one employee just yet.

We weren't the only ones complaining Alicia, who waited on us was fabulous. Her smile and interaction with her is the only reason we would go back again and try something else. She continued to apologize, but it wasn't her faults. Aiden is another great waitress. Always smiling. The rest of them beside working behind the bar should go find jobs else where no matter how nice we are to them, especially one of them they can't greet you with a smile. Just not their cup of tea. This place needs more Alicia's and Aidens. 2 stars for the food and a 10+ for Alicia

If you haven't been to Martini's Seafood House in Fredericksburg, stop what you're doing and go --…read moreand when you get there, ask for Hunter. Right in the heart of Hill Country, Martini's manages to bring the best of coastal fine dining to Texas wine country. The vibe is upscale but relaxed, the cocktails are creative and perfectly crafted, and the seafood is as fresh as it gets. We're talking oysters, beautifully presented seafood towers, and dishes that absolutely deliver on every level. But what truly elevated our experience was our server, Hunter. From the moment we sat down, Hunter was attentive, warm, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. Not once did we have to flag anyone down -- Hunter was simply there, anticipating what we needed before we even asked. The recommendations were spot-on, the pacing of the meal was perfect, and Hunter's personality made the whole evening feel like we were being hosted by a friend rather than just served at a restaurant.

You should know, this is an intimate space with only eight 4 tops and a dozen seats at the bar and that's all. We got here on a Wednesday happy hour, and the place was almost full, so making a reservation might be in order. The happy hour food and drink specials is most likely the reason why the place was almost packed. The dinner menu takes the prices to the next level. We started off with a couple of $10 martinis and decided on four happy hour menu items. My shrimp Po boy came on a crunchy French baguette and the Seabass was cooked to perfection. No wonder this place was packed. At six on the dot a pianist took the stage and livened up the atmosphere. The happy hour crowd trickled out, and the dinner folks strolled in. We added their bruschetta as the final piece and it was really very fresh. Some notes of interest that others may have missed: 3% credit card fee, no wifi and there's mouthwash for you in the bathroom. Definitely a place to revisit. 10 informative photos to get you through the door.
