He made sure I knew what the process was and made things so clear. He was open to me asking any questions, and he did it all with a smile. When his team came out to move us, and it was no little job, they were so nice, understanding of what our needs were, and they were very careful with all of our belongings. You can tell that they all have been given exceptional training. If I ever had to move anything again, I would call them in a heartbeat!! Thank you so much Quality Moving!!

Mention below some of the things which comes to my mind per the experience. *Cost - One of the best and cheapest quote of all, flat rate and no hidden charges. We were so pleased with the experience therefore included 10% gratuity on top of the agreed amount. *On time arrival - They promised to arrive at 12pm for pickup on Friday 5/31 and they were at door 11:59am... again promised to deliver at 12pm on Saturday 6/1 and were outside our new home at 11:55am (again this was long distance move) *Fast and Efficient - Pickup completed in 2hrs and all boxes/furniture assembled in 2.5hrs... I was little surprised the way this team was picking furniture/boxes however they were strong and quick *No Breakage - Adequately handled, all intact Overall a great experience and with the owner (Walter) being personally involved the entire process was stress free. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I booked a move in Charlottesville through Kustom moving and it went awesome!! After contacting the…read morecompany, I was unsure about paying the deposit (worried about scams), but Walter was nice about it and waived it off. He also gave me a nice flat rate. On the day of the move, Jamal and Wallace arrived on time with the truck and did an awesome job with the move. These guys can do some serious lifting and quickly moved a lot of heavy boxes and showed us some neat tricks (See attached pics). They also found a clever way by using the lift of the truck across the first floor balcony to move the heavy boxes. Ingenious!! It was a really hot day and there was a lot of stuff but the guys still managed to finish the job in two hours and made the move a lot of fun. They were clever and innovative in coming up with ways to make the move more efficient and faster. This was by far the smoothest and stress-free move I have had in my life. Highly recommend Kustom moving, do ask for the dynamic duo crew of Jamal and Wallace.

Helped my best friend move in Virginia and it was without doubt the worst loving experience I've…read moreever had. This company was a complete failure on every level. I was only moving 2.3 miles away, and they still managed to turn it into a week-long nightmare. What should have been a straightforward 2 day pack, 1 day load, 1 day move turned into a chaotic mess. A different crew showed up each day with no clue what the others had done, and communication was nonexistent. One day was canceled entirely because their truck broke down. They "lost" $1200 in gaming equipment from my son's room, a full size headboard, and a bed rail--then assembled the bed anyway without saying a word. My iMac was completely smashed. Despite clearly labeled items, they still mixed up what was going to my new home and what belonged in storage. Total damages exceeded $3700. I emailed them repeatedly to file a claim--no response. When I finally texted, I was told, "Sorry, I've been out moving." That's the level of professionalism. I've moved cross-country and overseas. This 2.3-mile move was somehow the most disorganized, careless, and unprofessional experience I've ever had. Do not hire them. You will regret it.

Do not store any boxes put everything in plastic bins. The unit will leak and your stuff will get wet. Seal everything tight avoid outdoor friends (bugs) making a home in your stuff. Now....If you close out write a letter and send it certified mail to ensure they get it. I called beginning of the month for Jan 2022 to inform them of my intentions to vacant the unit. The lady I spoke with advised that was fine and if I had a credit on my account (which I did for military) it will be refunded by check and mailed within 15 days. Jan 28th I called again to advise it will be all cleaned and swept out per policy at the end of the month. The lady I spoke with confirmed my address to mail the check to and stated ok. Jan 31st I called to confirm she has my unit closed out and done. Welp, Feb 1st I was charged for the unit. Feb 5th my account was closed. Feb 28th I got a refund check for $54.53 (well my credit was on the account for $25.00 already and the monthly fee was $88.00). This math isn't mathing right....... Here we are March 25, finally get a hold of someone and she asked who did you talk to....mmm I don't know person sound older though. And I really didn't think I need to check and balance with a storage facility, but Ok. So she explains my refund is minus the 15days of not given written notice. Unit is 88.00 per month (2.93 per day) 2.93 x 15 days= $44.00 88.00 - 44.00 = $44.00 refund I ALREADY HAD A $25.00 CREDIT ON MY ACCOUNT FOR WHEN I OPENED THE UNIT WITH THEM.. $54.53 - $44.00 = $10.53 $25.00 - $10.53= $14.47 REFUND MISSING!! Moral of the story they will take your money!

Anyway, I rented a unit here just over a year ago to facilitate a move. The facility was convenient for me and not over priced. Other positives: - Facility is clean and in decent shape. - Office hours 7 days a week. There are a few minor negatives, but nothing serious: - They do not send you a bill unless you miss a payment - and then they add a late fee. - As of November 2017, they are increasing rates by about 30%, but they were maybe a little low before. I plan to be out before the increase takes effect. The staff is reasonably friendly and helpful, but not overly personable. All in all, I've seen far worse storage places and much more expensive ones too. I'm happy with the deal I got.
