I've worked in customer service my entire life and I am 50 years old and have never ever had someone be so disassociated and just didn't care whether we were there or not for repairs. Her smug remarks made us feel as though our business meant nothing and they were just too good to fix our car.We finally decided that we would find somewhere else to go after she argued with us about not being in network with our insurance, which we already knew about and making it out as though it could be months before we see our car fixed. You might as well start smashing your head against the wall now. I took my car here and when I got it back, there were multiple things that they neglected to repair. 1. They did not replace the exterior hood latch. 2. The passenger side wheel well panel was not installed. 3. The driver side wheel well panel had multiple screws missing and came apart the first day I got it back and started hitting my tire on the interstate. 4. The driver side top fender bolt was barely tightened. 5. The damaged horn was not replaced (even after I took it back the 2nd time). 6. They did not wash the car (unbelievable). 7. When I took my car back and complained, it took them over a month to order the rest of the parts. 8. The hood was hitting the brand new headlight that was installed and damaged it. I suggested that they readjust the hood and believe it or not, they bent the corner of the hood up, damaging the hood. 9. The manager kept saying, "This car has been in a wreck before, and did not want to fix the damages from the recent car accident." 10. Even after I returned the car, for the repairs they missed, they still did not wash my car. What auto body/paint shop does not wash the car they are fixing? RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE! I was midway through a long, multi-state work trip when I was unfortunately involved in an…read moreaccident. I chose to have my van repaired at this location because it was close to where the accident occurred and my mother lives in Warner Robins. I want to start by saying the front-office customer service was excellent. The repairs took nearly two weeks longer than originally anticipated, which created a lot of chaos and displacement for me, but I received updates twice a week, my questions were answered, and everyone was friendly and communicative. I genuinely appreciated that proactive approach. Unfortunately, everything changed when I picked up my van and discovered new damage in a completely unrelated area. It was immediately apparent that my vehicle had been damaged while it was at the shop. I was absolutely dumbfounded and extremely upset--especially after waiting so long for my original repairs because I was desperate to finally get home. Lindsey handled the situation incredibly well. She was empathetic, reassuring, responsive, and solution-oriented. She treated me like a person who was dealing with an already stressful situation. I truly appreciated that. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Manager Amy. This was an extremely serious situation--arguably one of the worst things that can happen to a customer's vehicle while it is in a body shop's care. It was an opportunity for management to step up, take ownership, communicate clearly, and make the customer feel reassured. Instead, my experience was the opposite. After waiting on hold for approximately 10 minutes, I was told Amy would call me back. When I finally reached her myself later that day she immediately came across as dismissive and, rather than focusing on a solution, spent an uncomfortable amount of time placing blame on Lindsey and even the shop's proximity to a busy road. What was most frustrating was having to continuously follow up myself. I never received a proactive or reassuring call from Amy. There was no apparent sense of urgency, and her communication with the Gerber location in my hometown to help coordinate the next steps can only be described as lazy. After two days of feeling dismissed, I ultimately went into her office myself to "kick the ball down the field." Had I not continued pushing for basic written documentation, I honestly don't know how long it would have taken to get the information and reassurance I needed to finally leave Warner Robins and go home. Mistakes happen. I understand that, and I don't expect perfection from technicians or entry-level employees. What I do expect is competent management when something goes seriously wrong. The front-office team demonstrated what good customer service looks like. Unfortunately, the management response to a very serious situation fell far short of that standard. This location needs some serious management training--not because a mistake happened, but because of how the mistake was handled afterward.
