DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! I got into a minor accident which lead to bumper damage. They repaired it and painted it very nicely. Could never tell it was damaged before. HOWEVER, I went to pick it up Friday the 14th as per the message I received, I called and they said it still needed to be calibrated for the radar and the cameras. I completely understand so I came at the end of the business day, it was ready for pick up and the lady double checked with the worker and asked if it was all done and calibrated, he said it was ready to go. I paid my deposit and drove away. I live 8 hours away from this place and the only reason it was there is because I got into the accident while traveling. NOW HERE COMES THE ISSUES I HAVE! As I start driving down the highway I set the adaptive cruise control, I start coming up to a vehicle in front of me and my car is not slowing down or recognizing that a vehicle is even in front of me! I almost crashed!! If I wasn't paying attention I would have. The car was CALIBRATED FOR THE LANE TO MY LEFT, not in FRONT (Line I'm driving in) This is Absolutely RIDICULOUS, they released an unsafe car saying it was safe to drive. I took it to the Acura dealer and they confirmed that the calibration was done horribly.... Not only that after looking at what they replaced on the car, the dealer said calibration should have never been touched since the radar and other front sensors did not get replaced. The rear liftgate is no longer operational. I reached out to try and get it fixed and they said to email them. Manager Christopher Jackson reached out to see if we can get something scheduled on 19SEP23. I responded on 20SEP23. I have yet to hear back. Today is 4OCT23..... Took my 2005 Toyota Highlander to have my rear bumper repaired after getting rear-ended. After they repaired it my wife drove the car home and when I looked at it something wasn't right. They replaced the plastic cover over the bumper but failed to install the energy absorber between the bumper and the plastic cover. How do you miss that? read more

USAA thought Princess was salvageable, I didn't, but I let them send it over to 5 Star. Needless to say Colin-I believe-was straight forward with me & showed me exactly what I thought...frame was bent where radiator sits & seatbelts totally deployed! Thank God I was solo! I first brought my car to Five Star Collision on 10/19/2021. I was told my repairs would be completed by 10/29/2021. On 10/21/2021, I asked for an update and was told that my new completion date was scheduled for 11/2/2021. When I asked why, they stated it was because Geico had made changes, and we now had to wait for the new parts to come in. I was told everything was going well and that we were on track to meet the completion date of 11/2/2021. However, on 11/2/2021, I received notice that my vehicle would now not be ready until 11/5/2021. Five Star claimed this was due to Geico not sending in their approvals on time. Then, on 11/5/2021, I was informed that my vehicle would now not be ready until 11/10/2021 because one of my doors was delivered to the wrong Five Star location. It turns out, Five Star had known that the door was delivered to the wrong location for 5 days at that point and had done nothing to get the door delivered or picked up in a timely manner. It was only after I raised my concerns that they were able to get the manufacturer to go pick the door up and deliver it to the right location. On 11/8/2021, the door was delivered, and my estimated completion date was now 11/12/2021. On that date, I was able to retrieve my vehicle, however, the work was not complete. The parts department failed to realized that the correct trim package did not come with the parts, and they were unable to finish the trim around my back door window. They told me that it would only take a couple of days for the trim to arrive. In addition to that, they had installed the mirror on the drivers side door incorrectly. The top of the mirror was not flush against the door and the mirror wobbled slightly while driving. Finally, by having to disrupt the sensors that go through my drivers side door, my radio was no longer On 11/17/2021, I was able to retrieve my car a second time, but, again, the work was not complete. They were unable to fix the mirror because the plastic was "warped" from sitting on the car like that, so they had to order an entire new mirror. I was told that the mirror shouldn't take long at all to come in and they may have it on 11/24/2021 or 11/26/2021. However, they did not receive the mirror until 12/1/2021. After multiple calls into the shop, I was finally able to schedule a time to come in on 12/7/2021 to replace the mirror, fix my radio, pay my deductible, and finally be free. Five Star does not do work on the weekends, which I think significantly impacted how long this process took. So, counting business days, other than Thanksgiving, this repair took about 35 days. I was frustrated with this process or a number of reasons, and most centered around communication. I am well aware that companies can't do anything about the supply chain issues right now. So, while I was frustrated that parts took a long time to come in, I don't fault Five Star with that. However, I do fault Five Star with their seeming inability to identify an issue and resolve it quickly. There were numerous errors in my repair process that could have been taken care of much faster if I hadn't been the one to point them out and those with actual body repair experience had noticed the issues on the front end. With communication, I had to repeatedly follow up and ask for updates; I wouldn't have gotten any information otherwise. Five Star always tried to pass the blame onto Geico in the beginning by saying Geico was not sending them over information in a timely manner, but there were a few times where I had to tell Five Star that Geico had sent information over 4 and 5 days ago. Miraculously, Five Star was able to find that missing information soon after I checked in with Geico. After they could no longer use Geico as an excuse, they relied on the supply chain issue to pass off their own misrepresentations. I would never recommend Five Star to anyone. I would give negative stars if I could due to the lack of professionalism, timeliness and communication issues, and insufficient repairs. read more

Took vehicle(2021 Dodge Challenger) to get front grill repaired $2000.00 job which supposedly would only take 2 weeks. Well 7 weeks & $10,000.00 later my car is ruined. They disassembled my whole car and not to mention they took parts off my car for no apparent reason. They claimed to have done work that was not actually done and claimed to replace parts that they didn't replace. I am giving them a chance to fix it properly however I have spoken with a lawyer & have them on standby just in case. It's a good thing I took photos and a video of my car before it left on the tow truck AND after supposedly repairs had been made. My car looked like it had just left the show room floor before they got a hold of it and once I picked it up it looked as if a junkie got ahold of it or someone took some of the original parts for their own personal gain. Definitely doesn't sound like a Challenger with a Hemi in it. Stay Away From This Company. Pics below will show more details of how my car looked after I picked it up. Car was rattling bad upon pickup only to find out the exhaust had not been screwed down, steering wheel was full of oil, door is off track and pressing against my seat, hood doesn't line up, paint everywhere on the inside of my car on my black interior, headlights are not pushed all the way in and can be pulled of by hand, replaced screws so long that it burst through the trunk and chipped my paint then they painted clear gloss over the cracks, cushion in trunk ripped, etc...too much damage to continue to type about. Disassembled my whole car just for the minor damage posted on this review. Paperwork says they had to replace my rear bumper when nothing was wrong with either bumper and definitely not the rear bumper. Everything thats not labeled in the pics below was destroyed by the repair shop....I'm in disbelief because why would you disassemble my whole car for that minor damage? Just picked up my Subaru Outback after having repairs to the door and side mirror. Wow is all I can say! My car looks like brand new again and it is a 2010. Not only are the repairs perfect but the entire car was detailed, inside and out. If I could give them ten stars, I would. Also, we took the car in for them to look at it on Monday and Andrew said we could leave it and they would start working on it immediately. Car would have been finished already on Wednesday but they were waiting on a small part. Best customer service ever! If you ever need auto body work, do not hesitate to use them. read more

Five Star Collision "repaired" my Jeep. I didn't realize anything was wrong until my Sirius subscription expired. It was then that I realized my radio reception was awful and my back windshield wiper didn't work. I had to pay $375 for their mistake. My top was never removed after the repair, and even it it had, it's meant to be removed. My insurance company chose Five Star Collision because they were on a "preferred" list. When my insurance company looked into this, they noticed Five Star Collision is no longer on the "preferred" list. My insurance company said all that was needed was for Five Star Collision to send them a letter. Beware my friends! read more

I took my car to get fixed after an accident that cause the bottom of my car to become exposed in late October and after different quotes and little communication I received it back in November. Upon sitting in my car a few months later it ran hot. It is a 2018 Hyundai Elantra and has never done that being that I take care of it, I initially topped off the coolant and I started to notice that whenever I would just sit in idle it would run hot. I took it back to five star and they administered a pressure test to ensure there was no leaking. Upon relaying that there were no leaks I was told that I would have to take my car to the dealership before they could do any other work. I initially felt like I had in the beginning, that is was getting the run around and not taken serious or as a valued customer. After doing research I decided to drive my car for a while and park to see if the fan was coming on . After doing so I realized that it was not running. Something that they could have done as professionals upon seeing that my car was overheating. I recently learned that the reason my car has been overheating is that upon being fixed the fan was never plugged back in. It was actually tucked in as other parts had been replaced. I just feel like this was poor work on their behalf and something like this is nothing that was accidentally done. read more
