Today he sent me in with his ID, a deposit slip, and an endorsed $50 from the federal government to deposit into his account. I was told by the 20 something girls in there refused to accept the check without scanning my personal id and creating a "non member account" with my social security number. I told them no, reiterated that dad was in a wheelchair in the car with a broken leg, and that I wasn't withdrawing anything, simply making a deposit on his behalf. They said it was "all banks' policy" and "we can't just have someone working on someone's account without knowing their information" as if a $50 deposit with a check that was signed by the US treasury department was an act of money laundering. I asked for a manager and they were extremely rude to me and said "she's helping actual customers. you can throw the check in the night deposit box" Then, in an incredibly rude tone one of them said "sorry we can't help you" in a sarcastic tone and I said "No you're not, but I'm sorry your job has rules that are this stupid." I then went to US BANK where my dad also has an account. I deposited the check there without issue. They stated that it was the weirdest thing they ever heard and that they know of no such policy at other banks. So, i wholeheartedly recommend you bank ELSEWHERE because the the wet behind the ears See You Next Tuesdays who work at this branch would rather haul a man with a broken leg inside than provide a modicum of courtesy or customer service.

There is something about her presence, professionalism, and punctuality that assures you she isn't out to simply swindle you of your money. Instead, it's as though she is genuinely looking out for your best interests. We are first-time home buyers, and were initially very uncomfortable about the prospect of purchasing a home (we heard horror stories and had our fair share of awkward experiences with folks in the real estate industry). Nevertheless, Felicia was very forthright with us and was very accommodating throughout the entire process. She was quick to answer our questions (even some absurd ones at odd hours in the evening) and was expeditious in communicating with the sellers. To put things into perspective, we reached out to Felicia via text message (very unprofessional of us) on December 12, 2018 and in the blink of an eye we found a home that suits the needs of our growing family; by January 25, 2019 we had closed escrow and were given the keys to our new-to-us home. I must say that our experience with Felicia was a once-in-a-lifetime encounter that will resonate with our little family for years to come. Additionally, we will definitely be recommending her to our family members and colleagues. P.S. She left us a wonder surprise at our new home. And if she should happen to recommend a certain mortgage broker, don't disregard her advice so lightly. Thank you again for everything, Felicia!

I recently navigated the financial maze of getting a loan to purchase my first home, and am…read moreincredibly glad I had Jennifer as my loan consultant to guide me through the process. I had a lot of questions, which she answered very patiently, never once making me feel like I was bugging her. Her answers were detailed, but at the same time she managed to cut through the financial jargon and make things easy to understand. I was impressed ... it takes mastery of a subject that complicated to be able to explain it to a "lay person" in a concise and easy-to-follow fashion. Jennifer was always quick to respond whenever it was time to move on to the next part of the process, like she was with all of my many questions in between. She was also good at keeping me moving through all the forms and paperwork involved (there is quite a bit!), without making me feel rushed. And she is very fast at her work, and impeccably accurate at the same time (a combination that can be hard to find). I was living out of state during the purchase, and there was one day when I was in town and had only half an hour to meet with Jennifer, as a result of my overfilled schedule. We had a lot of things to discuss and forms to fill out, and I was sure we would never manage to get through it all. But we did, with time to spare. And not only that, but when I reviewed everything later, it was bullseye-accurate. I wanted to go with one of the less-common loan programs, and also had an uncommon "add on" program I wanted to use that Jennifer hadn't worked with in the past. She never hesitated in her interest in figuring it all out (which was not the case with some of the other loan officers I talked to), and did so quickly and without any wrinkles in the process. One more thing to add ... as anyone who has shopped around for loans can attest, it's an awkward (albeit necessary) thing to do. You're essentially asking someone to put in a lot of work for you up front, knowing that work might not pay off in any way. For various reasons I talked to quite a few loan officers (half a dozen all told), and Jennifer was the only one who didn't make me feel uncomfortable about having done so. That, along with her obvious expertise in mortgage loans, plus the fact that she is very friendly and easy to work with, were the reasons why I decided to go with Jennifer (and Caliber Home Loans) for my loan.
