Recently my spouse passed. I was not capable of continuing the mortgage and related expenses in California, and had no family in the area. I began my quest to sell the family house of 66 years, and care for my elderly father out of state. I interviewed four agents in Eureka, CA. Only one was able to impress me. She was honest, came prepared with substantive comparative prices and showed a consistent history of selling homes. That was Cheri Champ. Cheri came out within a day to talk with me and worked hand in hand with me on what I should prioritize on cleaning and repairs. She had the perfect set of repair people on speed dial, cleaning people, dump run people, contractors to help fix the antique lath and plaster walls, and more. It was no easy task. It took nearly two months of purging, packing, donating, and repairs. Cheri came by a few times and was impressed with the speed and dedication I showed. Once the moving van pulled out, Cheri had everything completely and perfectly orchestrated; the house was staged, photographed, and a open house within a day. Cheri kept me informed every step of the way. Cheri was always available, is a great listener, never dismissive, provided alternative perspectives, and always provided sound advice, time after time. I would not hesitate to recommend Cheri Champ. She is best. read more

We recently worked with Brian at MikkiMoves, as our buying agent, purchasing our retirement home. The process was about as painless as possible. He made sure everything was done and handled as expediently and efficiently as it could be and always with a relaxed non stressed demeanor, Brian was/is very easy to work with. All of our dealings with MikkiMoves as our buyers agent were professional, courteous and well represented. Everything that needed to be done on our part as the buyer, in order to close the home was done always ahead of schedule and Brian made sure we were always in the loop as the process developed. Everyone in the office in all our dealings, were kind and helpful whenever we needed information or had to drop off something ( if Brian wasn't available) and made us feel as though the whole team was involved in our home buying. All in all, a positive buying experience that felt more like working with friends that appreciated you, and made sure the buying process was handled as quickly and painlessly as possible. Worth a visit when you're in the market to buy or sell a home in this area, and I highly recommend working with Brian Wruck and MikkiMoves. 4.5 rounded up for great community service. 00335 read more

BRIAN WRUCK, write that name down, MIKKIMOVES Real Estate, write that one down also. Now if you ever need to buy or sell a house, you know where to go! No kidding, Brian sold our house DAY ONE of the listing and as we had moved several hundred miles to our new location he also did all kinds of stuff for me that most real estate agents simply wouldn't do, I know because I sold real estate once and I wouldn't have! When it comes time to sell or buy, call Brian and you will be writing one of these 5 STAR reviews yourself! read more

Michelle Rowland helped my father and I to buy a house. We have bought and sold many house over the years and she is the best real estate agent we have ever had! If we could give her ten stars on here we would. Michelle is so helpful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond then any other real estate agents we've had before. She answer all of our questions and if she didn't know the answer she would find out and get back to us in a timely manner. She was always on time and if she could not make it she would always call a day or two a advance to let us know. Michelle made us felt safe and relax and never pressured into anything and she always was honest with us and that rare in the real estateI business. We will always recommend Michelle Rowland to everyone we can. Thank you so much Michelle we love our home! read more

My boyfriend and I began our home hunting at an open house when we first met Ruthie of MikkiMoves. We exclusively worked with Ruthie throughout our search and, though we were unable to buy at this time (gotta love surprise curveballs,) she was absolutely fantastic to work with during our search. Ruthie gave us all the information we could ever need, exhibited great understanding of the market and policies, care for what we were looking for and was incredibly prompt with all of her responses- not to mention how sweet and humble she is. We could not speak any higher of her or imagine working with anyone else. Thank you again for all your hard work, Ruthie!! read more

MikkiMoves Real Estate Inc. did a great job doing anything and everything they could to help us get into a house. We are first time house owners, and dont make a lot of money. We didn't think there would be a lot of options out there for us but with a lot of help and pushing from Mikki we were able to to finally buy our own home, making it official 03-08-13! Her and her company are great to work with, easy to talk to, and amazing at staying in touch, via phone, email and even text (love that). We totally appreciate everything she, and her company has done, helping us through everything, and working so hard to make our dream of being home owners become a reality! So glad we had the pleasure of meeting and doing business with them. read more

MikkiMoves Real Estate - What better way to complete the our new family, than owning our own home... Thanks MikkiMoves! Love, Jeff, Steph & Kali - Real Estate Services Near Me - Eureka, California

I've purchased 2 rental houses that I still own with Mikki and purchased, rehabbed, and sold 2 other properties with Mikki and she has been an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was incredibly thorough with calls/emails/details and kept the information flowing during the listings and closings. I felt really comfortable working with her because of her persistence and attention to detail. I can't really give a 5 star review ("As good as it gets") because I haven't purchased or sold a home with a different Realtor to compare....but as an indication of my belief in her, I am in the process of purchasing another property with her and I trust I'll get exceptional service once again! You rock Mikki! read more

Have bought both of our houses using Mikki. The first was in a short sale and I know for a fact that we would not have closed the deal without Mikki's tenacity. Our second home was not even on the market and Mikki contacted the seller who was a former client and we were able to work out a deal. Mikki was always professional and easy to work with. I have already recommended Mikki to many of my friends and I will certainly use her again should the need arise. read more

Margaret Paczkowski is such a great lady! She helped my family find the perfect place!!!

When originally searching for a home we came across one that was listed by Mikki Moves, which is when we met their agent Michelle Rowland. Her experience and expertise helped us tremendously on our journey to buying our first home. She went the extra mile for us every time and we landed the perfect home at the perfect price, in a very active market. They also have a pretty cool office with friendly vibes. We'll definitely seek her out again for future real estate endeavors. read more

Cheri Champ sold the family home in Eureka in less than a week with multiple offers over asking price. She took the extra time and effort to stage a vacant home and took amazing high resolution photos and even drone overhead photos which really made the house "pop" because it had a beautiful lot. She is patient, professional, and really knows her market, and I speak as someone who has bought and sold a lot of homes. Whatever your real estate needs are, there is no one else in Humboldt County I would recommend as highly as Cheri Champ! read more

We hit the jackpot when we discovered MikkiMoves & Michelle Rowland during our home search in Eureka/Arcata. Michelle and her boss, Mikki, and co-workers, Julie & Kim, guided us patiently through a long short-sale (which could have been much, much longer without their expertise.) Even through the difficulties, Michelle was confident & positive -- exactly what we needed to not jump ship. Now we are thrilled to be in our new home and we enthusiastically recommend this office for anyone buying or selling real estate in the area! read more

We can't imagine having found a better real estate agent than Cheri Champ at MikkiMoves! Cheri's personality and character are marked by her professionalism and integrity. From the very beginning of our search for a home we always felt that she was working hard to make it happen. We could express ourselves by stating all the wonderful accolades that describe her but she can be correctly summed up by just saying, "She is the best!" Cheri Champ worked with us for over three years to help us find a home that would meet our particular priorities. She said she wanted to find us THE home we felt excited about. It took us a long time, yes! Throughout our search, Cheri never once gave up faith that she would find us the property we would fall in love with. She closely observed our reactions to properties and got to know very well the characteristics we looked for in a home. Often, upon entering a property, Cheri would already know what the deal breaker might be and would address it. Cheri's open honesty and integrity are two of her key attributes we have greatly admired and appreciated. If we had questions about a property, Cheri would hop on her phone and get answers. She made herself available to us whenever we needed her and was always happy to do so. Twice, when we were out of town, she "showed" us a house via video conferencing on our compatible phones--and it worked out really well! Cheri demonstrated knowledge of the area, wisdom about the negotiations process, and provided sound guidance. She was always patient and understanding, stating that this was a very big purchase and wanted us to feel totally right with it. Paperwork was efficiently executed, signed electronically. Cheri was always very personable while professional, and is great with communicating with other agents. In fact, her strong networking with other real estate company agents is how she found us our home! Cheri is truly a talented agent; and an absolutely wonderful person to know! read more

Michelle was exactly the agent we needed when buying our new vacation ranch. Great attention to detail, focused and works hard to make sure our concerns were addressed and needs were taken care of every step of the way. Wouldn't think of using another agent buying in the area. Thank you! read more

When we started looking for agents to work with on selling our house, we contacted Mikki Moves Real Estate and feel very lucky that Janna Lyon Walsh was the agent receiving calls that day. Janna did a stellar job for us in all regards and made the entire process easy. She was always available and on the rare occasions we left a message, she always got back to us promptly. At the beginning of the process, Janna was encouraging and helpful with expert advice regarding what we needed to do to help our house show at its best. We had one offer before the property even hit the MLS due to Janna's marketing strategy and real estate contacts. And by the end of the open house, we had 7 very strong offers. In less than a week we were in escrow and the whole process went off with barely a hitch. Janna is very skilled at finding solutions and keeping the selling experience moving forward. Janna is skilled, professional, creative and delightful to work with. If we ever return to Humboldt County, she will be one of the first people we call! read more
