It felt so fancy inside, and on the first floor there was a smoothie bar with snacks and food that we got the açaí bliss protein smoothie from. I also really liked that in the women's locker room there's lotion and spray on deodorant and hair dryers, and it's super clean. The second floor is stacked with machines and treadmills and anything you could possibly need for a good workout. There's also an indoor basketball court and pickleball courts and an outdoor pool. Definitely play pickleball during work hours if you're off, because we went at 7 pm and it was packed because everyone had gotten off work. But, when we were there at 4:30-5 pm, it was pretty empty.

The kids club was a perfect setup. We had use of the party room for an hour. The kids were able to rock climb and play in the bounce house while we decorated. The last hour of the party was spent in the pool. We were able to use the family dressing room and then the pool. The water was nice and warm and the kids (and adults), had a blast. There was seating for the spectators that didn't get in. Life time provided the life vests and a lifeguard for the party. Each kid had to have a guardian in the water which was not a problem. The two young adults helping us made sure to take care of everything. They helped us set up, passed out pizza and cleaned up the decorations when we went to the pool. They had all the gifts and stuff packed up on a cart and helped us take it outside. Great place for a kids pool party.

I've been a Lifetime member on and off since 2013, and consistently at this location for the past…read moretwo years. There was a time I truly looked forward to coming here, but lately, that feeling has shifted. Earlier this year (around February or March), there was an incident where a man entered the women's locker room - far enough in that it was clearly not an accident. I reported it immediately to staff, but I never received any follow-up, which felt unsettling, especially given how tucked away the women's locker room is from the men's. Additionally, the equipment at this location feels outdated compared to other clubs. There are frequent maintenance issues, and the overall layout doesn't seem optimized for peak times. If you're hoping to train legs for example between 4-7 PM Monday through Wednesday, be prepared to wait - often long - for machines or platforms etc. Interuptions during your sets are the norm. Even gyms with a significantly lower price point, like EOS and planet fitness, have more versatile equipment (e.g., a dual abductor/adductor machine), which could be a worthwhile upgrade here. Crowding has also become a major issue. Over the past couple of months, the gym has felt consistently packed regardless of the time of day. If there's a new sign-up promotion running, it may be worth re-evaluating how it's impacting existing members. It's incredibly difficult to follow a structured workout when you have to constantly rearrange your routine just to get access to equipment (if you're lucky). Parking has also become a huge deterrent and adds another layer of stress to each visit. The class schedule is not great either, as a yogi, i rarely have the opportunity to attend a class, and wish they had AM sessions available. Pickleball courts are fresh and new, but are first come first serve, and since they have been installed, have not had a chance to use them, due to strenuous wait times. Not to mention the amount of people who walk around with tripods at peak times recording, hence why i pay the fees to not be around people recording.. While I appreciate the under-26 discount, which brings the monthly cost down to around $220, I'm beginning to question whether the value is still there. I would really encourage management to consider updating equipment and rethinking capacity management - especially at peak hours. It's difficult to understand how this location is being ran when other nearby locations offer a much better experience for a similar price point. The one thing they do right is customer experience. I always enjoy getting to speak with the front desk staff and trainers. I really hope this feedback is taken into consideration for improvements, and helps out anyone who is considering spending $3000 a year to work out here.

April was our instructor and we had a small class of 4 people. Classes are held in the pool. The class was about 50 minutes long and very well worth the cost of 45.00. We were able to tighten the tether to keep the boards from shifting so much during class. My wife, our son, and I recently signed up for a family membership here, paying a premium $350 a month. As a below-the-elbow amputee, my options at any gym are highly restricted. I have to bring my own adaptive equipment to use the machines, which severely limits what I can physically do on the floor. I showed up around 5:30 PM and, understandably during peak hours, the few upper-body machines I could use were occupied. I decided to pivot and do lower body instead. I went to use a squat rack that was completely empty. However, staff stopped me and said I wasn't allowed to use it because a small CrossFit class was taking place in that section. Even though the specific platform I needed was entirely unoccupied, they refused to let me use it due to a rigid blanket policy. Denying an amputee access to an unused machine when my options are already so limited is ridiculous. I went to the front desk manager hoping for some common sense, but they were completely dismissive and unaccommodating. I'm not looking for special handouts, just basic logic and respect from a facility charging premium prices. Because of this complete lack of customer service and absolute refusal to apply common sense, I immediately canceled my personal portion of the membership. If you have any sort of physical limitation, do not expect this gym or its management to accommodate you.

We joined after…read moreour son, a long-time member of the Life-Time Fitness Signature River North Club in Chicago urged us to check it out after another national chain where we worked out suddenly was unable to keep its swimming pools and locker/shower rooms operational (and clean) and the workout machines in repair. LTF had bought out the previous operator, City Club, and invested millions in renovating and updating the facility. We met at and continued, as a couple to gravitat to large health clubs in different cities where we worked and lived for over fifty years. During the tour, where we were shown the various centers for weight training, the outdoor swimming complex, yoga studios, Pilates studio, ballet barre, a full service cafe and a very impressive spa/salon, and recovery room, I commented, "Goodness, I could live here very happily." We both have been very pleased with our experience there and feel that it is well what we pay for our membership. We travel a lot and have visited LTF clubs in different cities and have been pleased by the consistency of the programs, facilities and maintenance of a clean and functional facilitiy. We are usually there, working at maintaining our heath, both mental and physical a minimum of five days each week. But, I am writing this hot mid-July Sunday in 2026, to give two thumbs up to the entire LTF staff and management for the annual extravaganza, Poolchella, that was held over most of two days on two successive weekends bracketing our nation's 250th 4th of July celebration. It is one of the regularly scheduled music and dance events offered across the year on weekend days or weekend evenings described as adult get-togethers. That part I guess, is true but incomplete. The club's bar had two or three men and women constantly assembling cocktails and other libations, sandwiches, plates and snacks which were delivered to the many people out on the expansive, pool deck that has a variety of green and flowering plants. A succession of DJ's laid down very nicely synched non-stop pop and rock music tracks. The music drew me outside where I completed over 20 one/fifth of a mile circumnavigations of the pools where I ambled along at about 4.2mph movin' 'n groovin' to the 125 bpm beat the male and female MCs were laying down for well over an hour. It was hotter than hell under the sun in H-Town. I didn't care. I hydrated and took breaks to assess my well-being before picking up the pace over and over again. The LTF club leadership, GM Randy Doty and Club Membership Concierge Desiree Cortez, also provided floaty toys and a bounce pit and a variety of other kiddie attractions to enable entire young families to have a great holiday memory. And, therein lies the reason why this particular "urban country club" is so popular. The club offerings--from traditional solo weigh lifting to yoga, dance, Tai-Chi, strength, Pilates, cycling, swimming and group fitness classes welcomes not only the traditional gym rats and a surprising number of former college and professional athletes. They also offer a rich mix of classes that are directed to people like ourselves (AKA Aroras) who have made it to age 55 and beyond and understand that muscles do not age out as long as they are regularly and responsibly exercised. We routinely take classes with men and women who are well into their 70's, 80's and 90's and are still at it. But, LTF also has a very impressive kiddie care facility, so mom's and dad's can take advantage of the Club's classes, very clean family changing, showering locker room, use the cafe or the assigned out-of-the-office work area and get a mani-pedi, massage, assisted stretching session or work out with one of the many personal trainers, confident that their babies and toddlers and little kids are kept busy, clean and safe. For my wife and me, the Greenway Club is a central part of our Houston retirement. We enjoy the tri-part goals of LTF Arora--"Healthy. Active. Social." Bravo Randy, Desiree and the terrific crews!!

Late fee is $32 and if you have multiple cards on your account, the primary is locked because you're off shore due to work, YOU ARE still going to be charged the late fee $32 but the very next day they will charge any card on file and of course it goes through. Unfortunately they will not refund because per Villa Sport, "late fee is late fee". So people read your contract carefully because I also had to pay $80 to cancel the membership. Any other amenities you also have to pay more to add onto membership. Lifetime didn't give me all this hassle. Mind you I used the gym a few times per month when I would return back. It was so inconvenient that freezing also came with a specific time lock, 30 days. So if I arrived before the account would unfreeze I still couldn't use it. There are just more classes available in the day than nights. Wish there were more options for healthcare workers that work graveyard shifts.

This Katy Cinco Ranch location is very family oriented and has plenty of space & equipment. I have yet to have any issues with waiting to use equipment even when it is busier. You will find a surplus of treadmills, free weights, squat racks, benches, and more for all your exercise needs. There is also a child care area available for the younger ones. In addition, they also have a gymnasium with multiple side rims, as well as both an indoor and outdoor pool. Other areas available include a stretch room, cycling room, group exercise room, and another smaller weight room. They have plenty of locker/storage space as well, located is some weight rooms, outside the restroom/pool area, and inside the restrooms as well (the ones in the restroom require your own lock). One of the things I love most is they have a water fountain with a filtered water bottle filler so I can bring my empty water bottle from home and fill it with water at the Y for my workout. Another thing I appreciate are the several sanitizing stations for your hands and for wiping down equipment. Overall I'm extremely happy with this Y. The staff are very friendly, they have plenty of parking and allow 3 free guest passes per year (my previous Y made you pay for all guest passes). The only slight negative I've found so far is that they don't provide basketballs for the gymnasium due to people not returning them, which is understandable. Thus, I highly recommend this YMCA!

They don't have as much equipment as the other one in Katy, but it's not bad and it's somewhat similar, and might even be a 5 star if the greeting staff had been friendlier. It's often quite quiet in here which I like, and which you wouldn't expect considering a lot of fairly well-to-do people live around here and Cinco Ranch isn't flush with gyms (or flushing toilets) (OK it probably is). It has plenty of space and is a pretty good gym all things considered, and I'll probably be using it again in the near future. The hard part is getting in the door, of course. I'd like to try door number one, Monty.
