They put 19 year old and 10 year olds on the same team together which is dangerous. Stay clear is this league at all cost.

I can't find reviews for my area. My daughter is almost 12 and played 3 years with other league. They created a 3rd-6th grade league this year. Not happy. She's not super competitive, but wants to play to her fullest potential. A good fit?

Not sure of your area but i just pulled my daughter from the league after 4 seasons. Its a trophy for ALL and no score keeping at 12 they need more competition. Its fine for the 5 year old but at 12 and 13 they want to compete .

Good youth program but once it gets competitive kiss sportsmanship out the window from above coaches. And if it's a rain out game your screwed KYS just want the season to be done.

This is a parent coached league where the coaches (usually parents) choose when and where to practice. There is a large mix of skill levels, and unlike other rec leagues, most teams stay together year after year making the disparity between new players and more seasoned ones greater. I usually recommend this as a second step league after YMCA or FFPS. Unlike the other reviewer, I wouldn't drop my son off and leave unless I absolutely had to. Then only after I knew on a personal level someone who was staying. Be smart. The league seems less organized than FFPS, but again the competitiveness is slightly higher. I usually recommend this league for those that find YMCA and FFPS "too easy" for their child. If you have the means however, putting children in one of the numerous clubs is best as they would receive a more structured and higher quality training program. For the Katy Area, I recommend the Dynamo Dash Youth Academy, but others include Albion, KSA-14, Tukas, and Katy Premier.
