The owner is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. He yells at his coaches and the kids and has told girls (10-12 years old) that they suck on many different occasions. He also yells at the parents, and communication is very poor. If you decide to go here do not pay in full, if your child gets hurt you will not get a refund. All he cares about is making money, and not how he treats the people who help him make it. With that being said, there are many more volleyball clubs all around Houston with coaches who will be more invested in developing your child's volleyball skills, and who are a lot more competitive than Katy Elite. I HIGHLY suggest considering other options where you and your child will be respected.

I can't speak highly enough about how professional the instructors have been, and how nice the other girls have been. They are pushing her hard, but she is having a great time overcoming fitness barriers. Talking to some of the other parents, who have had their kids at other sports clubs, they also speak highly about Texas One. The facility is top notch, and very big. It's always clean, and has always been set up and prepped for each class before it starts. They have a pro shop, although I haven't been inside yet. It looks like they have a lot of good gear and apparel. We will definitely be enrolling in future Academy classes. My daughter has had so much fun that she has decided that she would like to try out for the volleyball team when she gets to Junior High next year!

Skyline pushes an open ended contract to get the families to provide them a blank credit card for…read moretravel payments that are undisclosed. This legally voids the contract for all the players based on no contractual financial disclosures which is needed to make a legal binding contract. The players family signs a contract and then Skyline tells you after your contractually obligated to use them to make travel arrangements without disclosing the costs, several months later. The families only choice then is to not have the player play for a Club because this was not disclosed in the contract; nor would it be, because it would make the contract void. Families are held hostage concerning costs; which is not only illegal, its totally unethical. Some players back out and then Skyline just calls the next unaware player to fill the team spot. Skyline states that the families are contractually obligated to let them make the reservations for travel without a disclosure of costs. Our family refused to pay for the travel cost when they were disclosed because they were over inflated. Skyline then threatened legal actions; which we disclosed to our attorney. There is absolutely no reason for Skyline to not provide the total costs before the agreement is signed and any judge would agree. I have reported this to the BBB and the Texas Consumer Protection Agency.
