I got my hair cut by Michelle today, and it went GREAT! Michelle was very patient while communicating with me about my new look, and offered some good advice. She paid great attention to the details, made sure that my hair style looked perfect from each angle. I am more than happy to finally find Michelle to take care of my hair from now on. As an Asian, I constantly experienced disappointing results with the high-rating hair salons, and most of my previous hairstylists seemed to ignore the fact that I have a very different hair type. I had never had my hair colored and usually got it cut at Great Clips. I trusted Claudette completely and asked her to do whatever she thought would look good. BOY did she do an amazing job! The result was my profile pic. After that, I tried to save a few $$ by going to a Groupon place. It was OK - but once the highlighting was repeatedly done, I was essentially a blond. NOT COOL. Ali took me back to my room where there was a wrap-around robe to change into laid upon the bed. The lights were dimmed and there was relaxing music playing. My face was steamed, cleansed, extracted and refreshed. Ali, offered a facial specific for my needs but I explained that this was something my husband set up and she didn't push any services outside of my specific booking but wrote up her recommendations of products needed (that can be purchased online) and future services needed. The beginning was very relaxing but geeze the extraction part was pretty painful at times. It felt like my nose was being tattooed and a razor was being scraped across my chin. The results did leave my face looking clean but very red for the rest of the day. My nails were done by Ryan. She was super friendly. The room where I had my feet done was big enough to service two people at once. I didn't love that because of covid but everyone was wearing a mask. Was looking forward to the massaging chairs but these only vibrated and didn't knead. :( They don't use warm paraffin wax on your feet/legs like most places do but have these footie warmers they put on you instead. From there we headed to another room to do my hands. They used similar warming gloves instead of the wax as well. Everything overall came out good.
