Auto zone quickly came out and tested the battery, which came up with ok levels but we knew it was better to go ahead and replace it. Brandon mumbled something and went back inside, leaving us confused. We went inside and he was at the register, simply calling "Next customer". After some more mumbling and me having to ask him to repeat and clarify what he was saying, we got the new battery purchased and he brought it out on the cart with his needed tools. Despite Brandon's apparent shyness or whatever it is, I do have to commend him for taking the time to get the battery swapped out, cleaning out the bay before putting in the new battery and throughly cleaning the posts and cable connectors, along with some anti-corrosive spray. The car started right up, and my SiL was of course relieved and far less stressed. I made sure to thank Brandon when he finished and shake his hand, because he did a great job and helped my SiL finish her trip on a positive note and with peace of mind.

Stepped inside office to let employee know and she said that tire shine is broke and they should have it fixed in a few days. I asked "what does that do for me now, shouldn't the attendant have mentioned that when I asked". She printed off my receipt and wrote a note on it and sent me to 19th street location to get it done again. So I go through the 19th location only for it to apply shine on two spots on each tire. Now after hour I was running out of time. I threw my hands in the air and called it quits. I used to use them all the time. I don't know what is going on with the maintenance at their locations. This is my family's go-to for car wash and oil changes and they've never done us wrong, although…read morethey never get everything quite perfect either. For oil changes they usually move quick, though they always have at least a short wait. They used to let you pull your car in and stay in it the whole time, but now insist on doing it for you. For car washes you sometimes have to go through twice for missed spots, but it's nice that they hand-dry here. Plus, you get a free wash with every oil change. The vacuums aren't the greatest on suction, but they are okay for a quick once over. The staff is kind of hit and miss. Sometimes friendly, sometimes not so much, but usually easygoing. Prices are about on par for similar services in town. I like that they are a good place to get everything done at once.
