We have had our turf for 13 months and there is a small part that has been melted, which is confusing because we were assured, by Luxe Lawns, that it could withstand the Arizona Heat and a large breed dog. The company has claimed that our warranty does not cover this type of damage. When a representative came out to look they said out upstairs window caused the turf to melt and they'd only replace it if we had all of our windows tinted by a specific company. When we asked why this wasn't mentioned originally as something that could happen, the representative looked at us like we should have known, but didn't act apologetic or even attempt to help solve the problem. Like how would we know the window could melt our turf? Shouldn't that be something they'd explain? We feel this company is not worth even 1 Star as they have not been helpful at all. We don't understand how something like this could occur as turf should last 15-20 years. knowing this, we don't think this company uses quality turf if it hasn't lasted more more than 13 months. We have reached out to the owner, Lisa, who stated that it would be a cost to replace that portion of the turf and they would not even consider replacing until we had all of our windows tinted. What? Extremely disappointed in this Company. We don't feel valued and regret using them. I would not recommend this company as their product clearly can't withstand the heat and they don't care to support their customers concerns.

After one prospective crew constantly avoided me, I asked Gold Medal if their quote was still good. They not only said their quote was still good, but that they could be out there later that day to complete the job. Within 4 hours, I had a half dozen stumps out of my yard, and my front yard was free of those obtrusive bushes. The crew did a great job, but the next day I spotted a wet spot in my soil. A drip line must have been ripped in the process of the job. I tried to find the leak myself, but with no luck. So I contacted Gold Medal (over the weekend) to see if they could help. And they did. They were out there Monday morning, and fixed the leak. Prompt communication, fair prices, quality work, and responsible employees. Would highly recommend.

We went to the tree and discussed what I wanted done. I offered to help but they said they had it handled and they would come get me when done. They came to my front door when done and took me around back to check it out and make sure I was pleased. They were polite and professional. They had all the proper tools needed to do the job. They hauled away all the trimmings. They not only raked the gravel but blew off that entire side of the yard. They also managed the entire job without damaging any of the 5 large prickly pear cactus, 2 birds of paradise, and 1 mini palm tree that are all within 1-5 feet from this tree. STAY AWAY…read more Absolutely unacceptable work. What was supposed to be simple trimming turned into severe over-pruning that completely ruined my plants. Multiple mature, full, flowering shrubs were cut down into stiff, unnatural box-like shapes with most of the blooms removed. The entire look of my yard was drastically changed in a single visit. This is not professional landscaping - it's careless and shows a lack of basic pruning knowledge. When I contacted the owner about it, my concerns were dismissed and he hung up on me. Save yourself the frustration and go with a more competent company. Photos speak for themselves. ***Update***: The owner's response speaks for itself. Rather than addressing the legitimate concerns about the quality of work, he chose to attack me personally and publicly, calling me disgustingly rude and telling other businesses never to work with me. This condescending and unprofessional response only confirms why we will never use this company again.
