Everyone who was working there was polite, competent and pleasant. This place use to be great. Now they are just a hassle. You get enough salsa for 2 or 3 bites of your meal and they want to charge you for more salsa for another couple of bites. The staff is rude. The food has gone down hill and is overcooked. Burritos ripped open and two people's orders shoved into one box. This place has gotten ridiculous. The manager is zero help as well as she's the one with all this messed up issue. I use to order several times a week now lucky if I order once a month. Do better. Get better staff. You use to care. First the good. The restaurant wasn't freezing and the atmosphere was bright with uplifting quotes painted on the walls. Also, the tables were quickly bussed and wiped off. Too bad the food wasn't as appealing. The tuna sub was served on a stale, dry roll filled with what smelled like week-old tuna. The sandwich had absolutely no sauce, not even mayonnaise and was topped with one slice of American cheese, one slice of pale tomato and a single leaf of lettuce. Also in the sandwich basket was a pickle spear that appeared like someone had already chewed the pulp off the peal. Not a very appetizing site. To top off my lunch experience, my soda had no carbonation. The bottom line is, if you want to pay $10 for a disgusting lunch, stop by the Brightside Cafe. I'll start off with what I enjoyed the most. I really like the theme of the restaurant, "Brightside". It's well lit, and the walls are full of positive quotes. The staff was super friendly! You go up to the counter and order, then they give you a number and bring the food to you. The lady who took our order, greeted me with a smile and was so nice and friendly. I got the Garden Omelet and the cheeseburger soup 1.99 (cup). My omelet was 4.99 and you get a BIG portion, so very well priced and had left overs. The cheese curds were really good too! They're the ones that are lightly breaded, just be ones I like. 5.49 a basket. The wait for the food was a bit long, but well worth it when it arrived. My soup was so delicious, my meal was really good. I enjoyed it a lot. They've got booths and tables, the tables can be easily moved for a bigger crowd. The only negative thing I'd mention is that the pop machine was flat, specially the Mountain Dew, I believe that it had just ran out of syrup. But looking at it from the Brightside (ahh see what I did?), the syrup just needs refilled. All that aside, I will definitely be coming back to try other meals, because the food was really great, and the staff was so nice and made me feel very homey.
