Look at the layers of flavor on this Manhattan sandwich (I added sprouts). However, if cold sandwiches aren't your thing, they have amazing salads, soups, and everyone tells me about their fabulous cakes. Specifically people rave about the Italian wedding cake. They have great coffee drinks, a stellar atmosphere, and the owner Ron has adorned the walls with his wonderful photography. This is definitely a local's favorite, but if you're visiting, you need to stop by and see why. Also, I LOVE the shops on either side of this coffee shop as well. Sioux City Gifts has obviously fabulous gifts and Sioux City specific items, but on the other side is the most adorable flower/plant shop you will find.

Stopped here to eat on Black Friday on my lunch break from my shift at my workplace and had a pepperoni pizza meatball sub and it was really great. Didn't have much time as I had to be back on the clock at work. The food is great, although it can be a bit messy if you don't eat responsibly. I love how you can stock up on points every time you come here, and how using the points is one nice way to save yourself some money for a treat. Don't forget to use the app if you want to stock up on points. It's also a popular location for deliveries with DoorDash and other delivery services.

But recently we saw a fun deal online that had to do with letters of our names. We went in to order where there were zero people in line ahead of us. The person working sauntered over and said "it's going to be about a twenty minute wait. We have to get these online orders done first." So we asked if it would be better if we went home, ordered online, and came back. He said "yeah, probably." So we did. Of course we had to download the app which was super clunky- maybe not working right because of the special deal that day? Had to enter the order multiple times. It said the order was received finally and to go pick it up at 12:30. I arrived at 12:27. There was one other guy there waiting for a pickup order, and no in-store customers in line. There was one table of three people eating. That's it. There were three people working. No one said anything to me or asked what I needed, if I was there for pickup, nothing. The guy waiting said no one had talked to him either. He said he'd been there for over half an hour just standing there. I felt bad for him. Then I did the same dang thing. Not one word was uttered to me or to the lady who came in after me to wait also. In the meantime, we watched these three people working take their sweet time, disappear into the back for a while, take phone calls, chitchat, seemingly take a little BREAK, and basically do everything excerpt be efficient or courteous. I expected Ashton Kutcher to pop out at any moment, but he never did. At least then it might have been worth it! Worst service EVER. Will never return, obviously.

When the time came, they showed up didn't even cater, they just dropped off foam plates that looked carelessly put together. on most of the plates they got deli meat because it looked like they ran out of the turkey, which if someone did get it it was a little slab. looked like finger food. they gave us a store bought pie as well. at the end of it all it felt like a scam, especially because we couldn't get ahold of the owner. take my review as my loss but your gain. do not hire this guy.
