The fifty year old wires that powered my well snapped somewhere between the box and pump. My…read moreawesome well contractor got me up and running with a temporary line that ran across my family room carpet. I called the electrician that installed my backup generator, and he never called back. My number two electrician made an appointment to do the work and then never showed. After a week of stepping over the cable, I happened to be walking the dog and saw a Delta truck down the block. When I got home, I called the office, even though they had already left, the crew was turned around. The guys were friendly, and while they were here, I discovered a few other tasks to be completed. The electrician worked on them, while his assistant went back to the shop for parts. Repairing the well took some MacGyvering, a big trench and boring through my well pit. It turned out to be the entire day's worth of work. As things were completing, my neighbor stopped by and said that the garage door guys that were at his house could not connect the new opener because of electrical code problems. Even though is was after 4:00 on a Friday, they crew went over and corrected his problem as well. Delta is very responsive, the crews friendly and I'm happy to say that my job cost about half of what I thought it would. They are my new number one!

The following day came and went without Rich. Two weeks have passed and I haven't heard a word from them. Evidently they have no interest in the job which is fine, there are others who are, if that was what they had told me to begin with. But instead I sit home all afternoon waiting for Rich. Right now I wouldn't hire them to change a light bulb.

I had them come and provide a quote for air quality as my original HVAC provider quoted a very big number and would not explain why the number seemed so inflated. The person who came on site was informative and gave me several options, all of which were a fraction of the other quote. The service person came to install and identified two other areas I needed to consider given I have badly allergies. These people are life savers. GREAT VALUE!

Absolute worst service company I've ever had to deal with. In late May, I called Adams and asked…read morefor them to service our generator which has been leaking oil. The customer service rep I spoke with suggested that I sign up for their membership and schedule it as "annual preventative maintenance", assured me that that service would take care of the issue and that the amount of money I'd end up paying for the membership would even out/be less than what I would have to pay for the service call ($169/hr, give or take 2 hours to fix the leaking issue). She made it make sense and I truly felt like this person was looking out for me. She scheduled the PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE for June 19th and said that I could call back any time to sign up for the membership and that it would be covered under my monthly payment, which I did. On June 16th, a tech showed up at my house. I was confused because we scheduled it for the 19th, but figured it was better we get it looked at sooner. The tech was professional and friendly, but nothing was resolved as he couldn't see where the generator was leaking from after letting it run for several minutes. He cleaned up some of the oil that he could reach and told me to check it in about a week to see if I could tell if it's leaking from the front or back. I asked him if he did the rest of the preventative maintenance stuff since that's what I scheduled this as, and he showed me on his phone that it was actually scheduled as a service call. As soon as he left, I called Adams to try to resolve the issue with scheduling. I was told that the person that scheduled me would call me back. The next day, since I didn't get a call back, I emailed info@adamspower.com and explained what happened, asked if I'm still scheduling for the preventative maintenance on the 19th, and making sure I wasn't going to be billed for a service call since I was told that I wouldn't be. They responded that I was not scheduled for the 19th and that my billing dispute would be escalated to finance and that an Elly would call me in the next few days. A week later, I checked back in, no response. I let another week and a half go by, with no follow up from Adams. I thought maybe since I wasn't being sent a bill, maybe they weren't going to charge me for that service call after all. Since I was already feeling like I couldn't trust this company, I decided to call and end my membership. The runaround that they put you through is insane. First person says they can't cancel my membership and that it would have to be escalated to financing, transfer me to a different line, get sent to a voicemail that will never reach back out. I call again right away, am told that they can help me with whatever membership questions I have and I say, "great, I'd like to cancel it." They try again to transfer me but I say I don't want to be transferred, I just need my membership canceled. I get put on hold for a few minutes, then finally they come back and say that it has been cancelled. And I'll be seeing a refund. I ask if I'll get an email confirmation just for peace of mind, she says that I'll just see the refund and that she can send me an email herself stating that my membership has been canceled. It's been 5 weeks since that call and I've gotten no email and no refunds. I wish I could say that was it! A few days after I cancel my membership, guess what email I receive from them? My invoice from the service call! Why would they wait to send me an invoice over a month after the service, right after I end my membership? Since then I have been calling and emailing, with absolutely no help. I keep being told that it's been escalated to a manager, billing, finance, etc etc. and that I should be expecting a call back. I think they're just waiting for me to give up. And after seeing other people's reviews and experiences, I don't feel so alone in the way I've been handled as a customer.
