Foremost removed old lighting in our condo and installed LED canned lights. Everything went smoothly, the lights look great, the installer was polite and professional, it could not have been a better experience. read more

I encountered one of their vehicles leaving home depot, the driver cut me off without stopping waived a finger at me when inhinked and did a hard brake check nearly causing an accident. Contacted the owner Phil who was generally responsive to correct the drivers attitude, but the drivers care and professionalism is severely questionable on how he would care for the work he would be doing. I gad dash video, but was not able to retrieve it to share. read more

Contracted Foremost to correct work of another contractor not done to code ; and finish outdoor hookup (wiring 40ft indoor/30ft outdoor). Job was stated to be from 6-8hrs and $800-$1300. Had positive experience on a previous project. Was billed for a 2-man crew and 18hrs over $2X upper end quoted. When leadership was asked for rationale of big over run of hours to complete the job (the other contractor took 4hrs to do 75% of the same work) they only defended the billing. Repeated ask for justification for 2-man team when materials employed did not justify 2 men over 2 days. Crickets. No defense was offered. To credit the on-site team, they were professional and delivered work to code. Project management was delinquent of any justification for the charge being so far outside what the job required. Will think long and hard before contracting Foremost again. read more

Foremost Electric - decision to use 40ft SER service wire and not pull 6g thn wire thru conduit was suppose to make 4hrs work 2. It took six. - Electricians Near Me - Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

My general contractor used Foremost and they had done most of the work prior to my general contractor dropping our project. I hired them to come finish. When they accidentally sent me the wrong invoice for my work VS what was to be billed to the contractor, the owner personally called me to make sure everything was made right. I would definitely hire them again. read more

Very good service people and finished product. very happy with the quality of work and cleanup done.will definitely use again!

I called Phil at Foremost to clean up the wiring to my hot water heater (work was done by another company years ago) and he sent out an electrician who was very professional and did an excellent job. I was impressed with how neat and clean he left the job. I apologize I didn't remember his name, but he did a great job. Phil is great to work with and I would highly recommend Foremost for all of your electrical needs. Thank you! John M. Lake Geneva read more

I had several light fixtures replaced in my condo. the first three times went fine $40-$45 per fixture. I purchased a Tiffany style light for my bedroom ceiling. It came with a remote control. To program the remote they had to return to the office, about 10 minutes away. They returned about an hour later. The remote was programmed and the wall switch also worked. They charged me $450.00 for this install. If it costs $450 to program the remote, first that seems excessive and second if it was going to cost that much they should have told me prior to starting the programming. I could have said no to the programming and just use the wall switch. There were options that weren't presented to me. When I questioned the cost I was told "that's what it costs". I reluctantly paid the bill. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not use them again. read more

Foremost Electric recommended and installed an excellent solution for an apartment building hallway lighting project in Kenosha. Competing contractors proposed tearing up the ceiling to remove bulky 55 year old can fixtures, before replacing them with new LED cans, then patching and painting the ceiling. Instead, Foremost proposed removing the guts from the old fixtures and keeping the old fixture shells in the ceiling for repurposing as junction boxes, with new LED flat panels installed over the old ceiling openings. We were reluctant to proceed with this out-of-the-box approach, but when we finally did the installation, the outcome looked great. And, the bottom line is that the total cost, including ceiling repair, was about $5,000, versus about $20,000 proposed by the competitors. We will enthusiastically hire Foremost for our next project. read more

I'm giving Foremost Electric LLC a five star review. We were traveling to Wisconsin from Arkansas with our RV when the transferred switch for our generator started smoking. Leaving 8 people in the RV with no power. I called the RV stores in the area and of course they were three weeks booked out. I figured this was an electrical problem and got in touch with Rich Foremost Electric. He was very helpful and got me a technician out the same day. The electricians name is Chris Imhof. I was very impressed with how he solved our situation so fast. He was working in a very cramped RV and was able fix the transfer switch better than new. Just want to say thank you for coming out and fixing this problem so I could spend time with our family during my cousin's wedding. We were only there for two days so our time was important. I appreciate a company who respects family values. He also showed up on time, was very professional even showing me the damage parts. Thank you. I highly recommend this company. read more

We were in electric hell for a couple of weeks while we waited for our usual electrician to figure out a problem we were having. Once they figured it out, they told us it would be 3 weeks before they could come and repair it-despite the fact that we run a business out of the building and would have to close up during that time. Someone recommended Foremost: We left them a message, they called back immediately, came out first thing the next morning and came up with a solution to get us full power until they can come out and do the work to bring the building up to code. Needless to say, they are now our go to for all things electrical. Our overall impression is very favorable: competent, efficient, personable and most importantly reliable. Thanks Phil and Chris! read more
