I admitted myself to treatment at Bright mission recovery 7/12/2023. It wasn't an easy decision to make but due to the help and support from BMR staff I've made it this far. The first day I arrived all the staff welcomed me with open arms, everyone was polite and respectful. The First 24 hours where the hardest, I'm very appreciative of the patience staff had with me when signing admission paperwork due to the language barrier and withdrawal symptoms I was experiencing but with everyone kindness and patience I got through the first day, after being assessed by Dr. Martin Sahakyan I was prescribed medications that assisted me with my withdrawal symptoms and pain. I could tell that Dr. Martin had a lot of experience in his field. For the first 7 days of my detox, I was in a blackout period, meaning I had to focus on my health, withdrawal symptoms and focus on getting as much rest as I could. I took this time to read, write and recognize my addiction. Once the 7 days where up I was transitioned into residential status this meant I could start attending and participate in groups, I was given daily worksheet assignments that helped me learn and accept my addiction. I have learned coping skills that I will apply when I'm integrated back into my community. I feel ready and prepared to go back home and live my life in sobriety. In my darkest hour Bright Mission Recovery was a shining light that welcomed me with open arms. I got in touch with Arin and right away he made me feel comfortable. Letting me know they had a spot for me and would get me an Uber when I'm ready. I had some work to do before I could leave and they gave me the time to get things in order before I came which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Once I arrived everyone was very professional and made me feel comfortable from day one. Even when I had high anxiety and questioned my decision they helped me realize I was where I needed to be. After 30 days here I have learned so much about the childhood trauma and mental illness I was living with and was able to manage it better. Joyce the therapist was able to get further than any therapist I have ever met before. Patrick the counselor was able to make me realize addiction is something I have wired my brain to crave over the years and there are ways to rewire it over time. The techs (Stevi, Ron, Ryan, Boogie, Ashley) made sure our group therapy went well and that we felt as comfortable as possible while here. Helen the chef made amazing meals five days a week and was so sweet. Michelle & Jennifer the nurses always made sure I received the meds I needed with the doctors supervision. Margarita was one of my favorite people always willing to go on walks, hit the gym and take us on outings so we felt more normal while here. Thanks BMR for all your help and hospitality! read more

I can't tell you how grateful I am for bright mission and its staff for guiding me in the right direction teaching me so many life lessons. This was my first time at a rehab center and it exceeded all my expectations with the clean facility and great staff. Just landed back in Atlanta from Bright mission recovery in Acton, California from my first rehab recovery center and it was amazing. Awesome house with a great back yard, basketball hoop, and ps5 in a nice clean with 2 tv living room. Amazing staff starting with the lovely chef Helen. she will make some of the best 3 meals every weekday and fill the fridge for the weekends. Also takes request Michelle, Margarita, Stevi, Ron, Ally, Boogie, and Frenchie are the fine funny helpful staff that will be there taking care of you 24/7, day one till the end. God bless this place and the staff here! This was my second time here after a relapse. Luckily the relapse didn't last long but it definitely got dark, quick. This place literally saved me. I do not know how I got in contact with them or how they even found me again BUT they showed up at my apartment in east LA and saved my butt. The program is wonderful, the techs are wonderful, Jennifer, Aren, Carol, Eric... they're all so great and have so much knowledge. They will make sure you're set up for success after you leave. I wanted to come in and write a short review but I was so thoroughly impressed by Eric's professionalism and how much care has been put into this business that I came to write a review. I originally went to check out the facility for a family member and I was greeted warmly by the owner, their nurses and cook. I amazed with Bright Mission Recovery. Being my first time in a treatment center, I didn't know what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised, with all aspects of this program! I was so scared, but Jennifer did my intake, and made me feel comfortable right away. The entire staff is amazing, and very hands on. The techs are all professional yet personable, and made it feel like home. Ron even brought some items from his home, to keep us entertained. Bright Mission Recovery has been a blessing to me. When I arrived, they were very welcoming and inviting. I showed respect and respect was reciprocated. Therapist and counselors are more than I expected, even though sessions were only an hour, but their door was always open if I had any issues, along with the staff.
