I purchased 2 compression socks and returned same day. Never opened, ended up not needing. I had used Affirm payment service to pay, as these things are extremely overpriced. $133 for 2 socks is wild. Amazon has same/comparable options for over half the price. After returning the product and receiving my refund, Affirm has me still owing $19. I reached out to BrightLife as to why the full refund wasn't given back? "For return requests, please know that we do not include the shipping fee you paid for your order in our calculation of your refund. Also, our prepaid USPS return shipping labels are $6.95 and since you used our label, your refund amount was deducted with this amount" HUGE SCAM, was never told upfront using their return label provided from them would cost me money. Even if there was fine writing somewhere and I agreed to this, shady slimy business practice that isn't customer service friendly. Paid for expedited 2 to 3 day shipping. It has now been 4 days and I was just notified by USPS that I should receive the item in the next 5 days. Don't count on getting the shipping that you paid for Company refunded the shipping cost but that doesn't help me as I needed the item in the 2 to 3 days as advertised. read more

BEFORE I ordered for the first time, I sent a message asking if they could include an itemized invoice with my order. I needed the receipt to submit to my health insurance company for reimbursement. I NEVER received a reply. Rather insulting, but I have lymph-edema and needed the products. So I placed my order anyway, with fingers crossed. My order arrived with the box torn and the shipping label attached to the BOTTOM of the shipping box. I then found that the products inside had simply been thrown in, and they really weren't what I was expecting, especially for the money I paid. Worse than that, there was only a packing slip with NO pricing on it. Totally upset, I went back to their website to see if I could print out my invoice. Well, it printed, but the name of the company didn't appear. It looked like a bogus document -- totally unprofessional and of no help to me at all. So, I went into my email trash, located the original confirmation of my order and printed THAT instead. BrightLife Direct seems to have wonderful Google reviews, so that is why I ordered from them. Worst customer service ever. I ordered a compression garment to be delivered today. I paid for the overnight shipping. I ordered it two nights ago. I won't be receiving it tonight so I have to call in sick for my flight attendant work trip tomorrow because I cannot fly without a compression garment. I have Lymphedema in my left arm because of breast cancer two years ago. My other one was completely destroyed and I can't wear it either tomorrow. I now have to call in sick and have my reliability called into question because of the very crappy customer service of this company. The guy I talked to on the phone an hour ago couldn't care less. In my experience, this is not a inventory stocking dealer for their manufactures. When an order is placed with them vis "On-Line Ordering" and they have to refer it to the manufacturer, YOU LIKELY WILL NOT GET A NOTIFICATION FROM BRIGHTLIFE AS TO THE STATUS OF THE ORDER AND FIND YOURSELF BEING A HORSES ASS WITH THEM IN ORDER TO GET ANY INFORMATION. I ordered some expensive Allegro support pantyhose for my mother who is so skinny and small but I did a mistake in ordering the XS size. When I called Bright Life Direct a couple of days ago, I talked over the phone with a very nice and understanding customer care representative. This kind person offered me the full refund without any condition and suggested me to give the high quality contention pantyhose too small for my mother to an organization like Goodwill or people in need (those items cost over $80). I am Thankful for their refund and to ask me to give away to people in need those 3 pairs of medical pantyhose that some woman in need will use for her sick legs. I will order again after making the right measurements of my elderly mom's legs. Fast service! When I ordered online I was worried that it would take a few days to ship, but they were VERY prompt in getting the order out. I have surgery in 5 days and was late in ordering the stockings that I will need for recovery. About a half hour after I placed my order I received a notification that the order had shipped along with the confirmation number!! One of my doctors here in central NJ recommended this company. She ordered compression stockings online and I ordered online. Company is in DC. Service was GREAT. Fit is GREAT. Value is GREAT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I had paid much more elsewhere and fit was bad. What a colossal waste of money and time to be fitted and get the wrong size TWO times. (I actually went to a medical supply store to be measured.) Gal I dealt with online and by phone was super super patient, professional, knowledgeable. Compression stockings for lymphedema are much less expensive than through the doctor's office. The "off brand" that is REALLY low cost is fantastic too and offer the same compression and performance of the name brands. I ordered from them offline. I used the size chart provided by them and when the stockings arrived they did not fit. They were much too long, causing them to bunch up and leave bruises on my legs. I was told I could return them for a full refund. However when I finally got my refund (3 weeks later!), it was short $5.95. They had docked me for a shipping fee even though I had paid for shipping both ways. So to return their defective product cost me $12.00.
