I cannot say enough about this amazing school! Our son has been going there for a few years now, and what a special place this is. All of the staff you can tell love what they do and are happy to be there! Every time we walk the halls they greet you no matter who it is. Our son has built incredible relationships with their teachers and staff. Norma and Sara are fantastic to work with and they truly take care of you! We tried another daycare and it did not go well. They accepted us back with open arms and took great care of us! This is seriously a special place and not a lot of schools like it! Cannot rave enough about it. We will be putting our 2nd child in here in a few years! Shout out to all of his awesome teachers too! Our son absolutely loved Miss Elise, Miss Catherine, & Miss Brynn! Seriously cannot recommend this place enough. Price-wise it is comparable to other schools, all are pretty expensive. But we tried a cheaper one and it did not go well. It is worth it for our son's safety and happiness here! If you're considering putting your child in this school, do it! We are beyond happy and so grateful for this place. read more

My daughter has been going here for just over a year now and I CANNOT speak highly enough of these folks. I am a single mom and these teachers/childcare providers are an extended part of my family. 1) I LOVE that BH has an app and that I can be alerted when things are happening (Did she eat enough today? Did she sleep long enough? How is her potty training going? What are they up to today, ah, here is a picture!) 2) there is accountability with everything! She got hit by someone or she hit someone else? An accident report is filled out, and/or you are notified if there is a bigger issue. 3)The teachers are very approachable and WANT you to work with them in helping with your child. You don't just walk in and walk out without discussing the day. (Doesn't make sense if there are rules in one place and not the other...) there is a consistency and fluidity...potty training has been a snap with the positive reinforcement she receives at "school". 4) she is excelling quite beyonce her years and is learning SO MUCH about being social, sharing, being polite, etc. My Father was so impressed with the place he wanted to buy stock in it...too bad they are not publicly traded. My final thought on this place is that they focus on the WHOLE child, and not ignoring them and their play. There is no TV watching! There is Music, creative and structured play, art and sensory projects...all of this will lead up to my daughter being MORE than ready for Kindergarten, when the time comes. read more

My daughter has attended this daycare for nearly a year now. The staff have always been fantastic, her teachers are loving and caring. I cannot say how much we love Bright Horizons in Centerpoint. My daughter is always happy when we go to pick her up, we get great pictures and updates from the staff and she really likes everyone there (as a shy toddler, it's hard for her to like anyone). Sadly due to Coronavirus, the center is closed, and I wish I could send my daughter back, but, my work schedule is now more than 12 hours each day, making it impossible for pickup and dropoff. I will be returning once businesses open up again, and I am sure my daughter will love going back to regular classes. read more

The most disorganized daycare I have been to. I scheduled a tour and was confirmed for an onsite tour. After arriving I was told that there are no onsite tours, only virtual tours. My daughter loves coming to school. She barely lets me kiss her goodbye. "Peace out mama!" They do a great job with Covid precautions. We always get smiling faces (in masks of course) when we enter the center in the mornings and evenings. Everyone is just so friendly and it feels like family. My son came here for a few months while I worked nearby. I picked the location for two reasons, the first being proximity, the second being the warm fuzzy feeling I got from the staff here. For those of you looking for daycare and someone to take care of the most precious little thing in your life, you know that's very, very important and the one thing that you don't want to skimp on unless you have to. Compared to some of the other facilities around here, this is not going to be the cheapest - however it is going to be the nicest that you'll find from what I've seen. The facility is located in a business park, so it's away from the street and quiet. They have a small playground located outside and the teachers regularly take the kids on either buggy rides (for the really little ones) or walks in the surrounding walking paths. The rooms are well maintained and the staff here is really nice and they all truly care about the kids. They really do know each one; when I call here I'm not just some parent, they actually know who my baby is. The administrative folks are easy to get along with and they also offer a part-time schedule for infants, which I was really excited about since as a first time mom, I wanted to exercise the option to be at home part time with the little guy while he was still a little guy. This place also has an open door policy, so you can come in and visit your kid any time of the day. That was great for me since I needed to be slowly weaned off my baby 24/7 schedule that I had gotten used to since the day he had arrived. I was also able to nurse him once a day. Security is good here. Parents are issued codes to get into the facility. They check to see who is picking up your kid - if someone isn't approved they aren't taking your child home. If you're not a parent they are used to seeing, they will question you. I felt my baby was safe here. I would not have changed providers if I hadn't recently gotten a new job farther away. Definitely come check this place out if you're looking for something in the area. read more

I'm so disappointed at our choice. The administration staff talks really big during walk through. On the first day they missed that my son is a vegetarian and fed him meat. How does that happen when I submitted paperwork a week ago. Also, they didn't share any information with the teacher because the teacher requested information regarding my son. Why am I spending an hour on writing up paperwork info if no one is going to review it. The leadership team was made aware the same day about the mishap. The director and assistant director were not there. We didn't receive any phone calls. When my husband walked in the next day to have a meeting with them,they said we were just going to call you. At 230pm you felt you should call us. Who waits until almost end of the next day to follow up on such a mistake? They apologized again and again. They gave my husband a paper to fill out again. It's like you got to be kidding me. You don't have a copy? Worst first day experience. I have no complaints about the teacher. Leadership needs to get their shit together. This place is so expensive compared to other daycares, yet this is how they manage mistakes. Absolutely ridiculous!!! read more

Our 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son both begin their educational journeys at the Bright Horizons Centerpoint campus. Throughout their tenure there they were looked after with the appropriate amount of care and compassion. In regards to class curriculum, the teachers worked hard to plan out activities that would keep the kids engaged in learning and having fun to where they were excited most days to share with us what they had done. And the Center Directors (Mrs. Sheila and Mrs. Mendez) are the best. They always made me and my wife feel comfortable with addressing any needs our kids may have. Even when we took them out to find cheaper child care, they left the door open for us to bring them back if we wanted...which we ended up doing. In regards to cost, they are on the high end, but when it comes to who you're paying to watch over and teach your kids you pretty much pay for what you get. Things like transparency on your child's daily interactions, daily reports from the teachers, and documented incident reports on any accidents that may occur are worth the extra cost. Both of our kids are in grade school now but we even bring them back to BH for their summer camp. We're really thankful for the experience and the time that our kids were enrolled. read more

The Kent Bright Horizons team is a talented, caring and dynamic group of teachers with a deep love and respect for children and their development. After over 6 years with the center, our family has only left since our children are now in public school, but we will certainly be back for school breaks. In our time with the Kent team we experienced very low turnover and high rates of teachers pursuing advanced certification. The curriculum is a wonderful blend of structured play and hands-on learning, with amazing opportunities to explore the world around them. From regular nature walks and occasional field trips to classroom learning and special reading and language classes, this team provides a stimulating, fun, and diverse environment for kids to grow and explore. The partnership and communication with families is incredible. If you are looking for high quality childcare this is the place. read more

So I really had high hopes for this daycare. My husband and I don't make much money but child care is one of the most important things to us because we wanted our daughter to be taken care of. My daughter only went here for a month because every week I was figuring out more and more that I did not like this place. First it started with she would have mark on her bottom like someone was scraping her bottom when she was getting her daughter changed and whenever I change her she say "ow" constantly. They would leave my baby in her dirty diaper and I would pick her up and she would literally have poop all over her. And she absolutely hates changing her diaper and we never had this problem before. When I went back to collect her things her sleeping sheet had a poop stain on it.. I think that is absolutely gross that they made my daughter sleep next to her own feces and I would have had no problem at all with bringing in a new clean one if I had knew. And this is one thing that made me so so absolutely angry with this daycare. Her teacher put pictures of her in her bag and every picture was her crying or unhappy. These pictures literally brought me to tears. Why would you take pictures of a child crying? I don't feel like this daycare is better than any other daycare. There is two sides to every story but...I put my trust in these people and they took advantage of my family. Please consider other options when it comes to this daycare. read more

My daughter has been going here for the past two years and she loves it. She is always telling me how much she loves going to "school", teachers and playing with her friends. It's too bad we are moving to another state because I would keep her here until she is kindergarten age. I hope I could find another places just like this one in Virginia. read more

The staff is AWESOME and is always so helpful. My little one is talking so much and is so full of knowledge because of the curriculum at this facility. I wouldn't go anywhere else for childcare. Finding Bright Horizons in Kent has been such a blessing to us, I'm not sure where to begin. Our son has been in the daycare since he was 8 weeks old and is now 3 1/2. The center is NAEYC accredited and has rooms for infants through pre-K. But those infant and toddler rooms aren't just for babysitting, the kids are actually learning. They are given the skills needed to continue to learn and develop in the preschool classes. The teachers are well educated and really care about the children. If there's a problem, the staff works with the families in any way they can to make sure the child is successful. Extra curricular activities (music, dance, tumbling, computers) are offered for a fee but programs like the Reading and Spanish clubs are included in your child's education. And it's so much fun there! They have a Halloween parade, a harvest festival, a Holiday Sing, field trips, safety week (with great presentations) and so many other fun things like pony rides, bubble man, and insect guy (or buy guy?). I could go on and on. The center celebrates diversity and each child is treasured for who they are. While it is a bit pricey it is well worth it! read more

My children attended Bright Horizons since they were 4 months old. The staff is incredibly warm and nurturnig. I appreciate the focus on academics as well as social and emotional development. The center and it's classrooms are clean and welcoming. I'd highly recommend any family to consider Bright Horizons at Centerpoint. read more
