To be honest, it really restored my faith in landscaping contractors. I submitted an online request for a quote and the next day Mike emailed me requesting pictures of what our project wanted to include. Originally we just wanted to pull out our front yard plants and redo just the front but there is a $5000 project minimum. After deciding to redo our turf and also include our backyard, Mike came out the next week for a free in person consultation and got me a detailed quote within 2 days. The turnaround time for everything was just amazing, I've never seen anything like it. Our lot is about 3615 sq ft to give a reference point. Our project included: all the labor to demolish/uproot all of our plants including a very large 20 year old tree in the backyard + all the roots (completed in 2-3 days), redid our front and backyard turf (completed in 2 days by Backyard Golf Company), added a veneer stone and cap on our retaining wall (1 week) and replanted all our plants/installed a drip sprinkler system/installed lighting front and backyard (1 week). We have an HOA and Mike had a complete detailed plan and diagram ready for us within 3-5 days. Once HOA got back to us, the project was started within a week and finished in the estimated time frame. Workers came promptly at 8 AM and they were actively working all day not just sitting around. Very respectful, even blowing all the dust at the end of the day to keep the area clean, no garbage left anywhere. The entire project was $30,000 and there weren't any surprise or unexpected costs. Invoices are sent every week on a reasonable schedule and I just loved our experience. I'd recommend Seabreeze to anyone wanting to do their hardscape landscaping in a heartbeat!

From beginning to end, Jake and his team were professional, efficient, and great to work with. Jake was incredibly proactive and involved throughout the entire process. He consistently followed up, met with us to select flooring samples and plants, worked within our HOA guidelines, and provided everything we needed for HOA approval. He also stayed on top of the permitting process and followed up with the city to keep everything moving. What we especially appreciated was the quality of their work and attention to detail. The crew never rushed the project just to get it done. They took the time to make sure everything was done properly while still keeping the project moving and staying on schedule. The entire crew was hardworking and very respectful of our home and space throughout the renovation, working 6 days a week. Even after the project was completed, Jake continued to be extremely responsive. We had a few minor items that needed follow-up, and he addressed them right away. We really appreciated that the same level of service and responsiveness continued even after the job was finished. We're so grateful to Jake and his team for doing such an amazing job and completing everything on time so we could enjoy our new backyard this summer. We love how everything turned out and would highly recommend Jake and the Echo Landscape team to anyone considering an outdoor renovation!

I can't say enough great things about Jake Joe and his team at Echo Homes. From start to finish,…read morethe entire experience exceeded my expectations. Our project included a full transformation of our backyard, courtyard, and side yard, and the results are absolutely stunning. Jake installed two custom fire pits, beautifully laid porcelain tile, and a customized louvered patio cover. He also helped with the placement of patio pots and selecting plant material, carefully considering sunlight, plant hardiness, and overall aesthetics. Everything feels perfectly balanced and thoughtfully designed. Even though I had a professional landscape design to start with, Jake suggested several updates that elevated the entire space, giving it a more modern and upscale look. He truly has an exceptional eye for detail and is resourceful at troubleshooting. His crew, Moi and Paco, were equally impressive. They were onsite every day from 7am to sunset, Monday through Saturday, and their work ethic was unmatched. Moi, in particular, stood out. He is incredibly diligent, knowledgeable, and professional. It was clear that they approached every step with care, always "measuring twice and cutting once." They took the time to think through details and identify potential issues before making any cuts, which gave me a lot of confidence in their craftsmanship. Jake's commitment to quality really sets him apart. If something wasn't perfect in his eyes, he had his team redo it even if it was solely for aesthetics like the placement of a pot. His adjustments and recommendations made the final result even better. This wasn't only about getting the job done quickly, it was definitely about getting it done right. The end result is top-notch, and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend Jake Joe and Echo Homes to anyone looking for high-quality, thoughtful, and beautifully executed landscaping work. We did not have a concrete idea of what we wanted at first but Oscar was great with helping us plan by guiding us and asking about how we wanted to use our space. It was greatly appreciated that everything was washed down and cleaned by the crew at the end of each day. They were also able to make quick adjustments when our neighbor had some concerns with the hedges we wanted to plant. The scope of the work included adding a concrete pad, extending our concrete patio, planting privacy hedges with drainage and auto watering system, installing artificial grass with paver walkways, and adding pebbles along the exterior wall of our house. Since we have a soft watering system, we also had them install a separate line from the main. Overall, Caliscapes OC was professional, friendly, and accommodating. We even had one of the hedge plants not doing well. We reached out to Caliscapes OC to advise us on how to revive it, and they said they would replace it. I feel like I lucked out finding Art and his company to re-do our front lawn and install a new automatic sprinkler system. We found them here on Yelp, and were able to confirm on the Contractors State License Board website that they're licensed in landscaping and have workers' comp, which was a huge requirement for us. Art's quote was quite reasonable for the job. Many of the other quotes we got were less than reasonable. But Art was, I think, trying to be fair on the price and not squeeze every dollar out of me. He never came across as a high-pressure, upselling salesman. He struck me as an everyday person who runs a business, if that makes sense. An old-school contractor. The kind of person you want to recommend to your neighbors. Art listened to what I wanted, answered my questions, and explained what he would do. It was an actual conversation and not someone telling me what I should want for my lawn. On the first day, Art and his team arrived on time. They worked fast to remove the old lawn and install the new sprinkler system, and they were done for the day by 3pm. They returned the next morning just before 9am with the sod and finished by 11am. Cleanup each day was perfect. They even did some extremely minor additional landscape work around the lawn at no extra charge. The front lawn looks amazing now. Much appreciated!

Our project consisted of pouring 2 concrete slabs (1 along the side of the house and a second in the backyard), planting a boarder trim, and installing sprinkler systems in our back and front yard. Joel and crew completed all parts of this project with attention to detail and communicated effectively throughout. First and foremost, I have to give a huge shout out to the team lead managing the concrete part of our project. His attention to detail in recommending ideal drain setups in the sections where water had pooled in the past are exactly why we went Joel - we want to do things right the first time. After chatting with Joel, we installed the recommended drains, preventing a potentially expensive fix down the road. The rest of the project was completed with professionalism and Joel was great in communicating and working with our needs. Our one constructive feedback is that we did not receive a mock-up of the project before work was underway. We had a few last minute changes (the width of the trim around the backyard and the size of the mulch area in the front yard), but Joel & team communicated effectively and worked with us to make sure our needs were taken care of. All in all, we are so happy with our completed project. The level of professionalism, attention to detail, and our new back/front yard makes us confident that we made the correct choice in choosing Joel for our project. Thank you!

BRING ON THE SUPER EL NINO!…read more Joel and Sons recently completed a much overdue project at our home. For years, our outside drains were clogged, and I found myself setting up pumps during the storms to get the pools of water away from our home. Every year, I would tell myself that I would get the drains cleared. Before the rains came this past winter, I hired a company to hydro jet the pipes. They tried to clear the drains, but because they were so clogged, their equipment failed. Again, I was setting up the pumps during the rain storm. So, I researched and found Joel and Sons. I met Joel and he examined our front/back yards. He gave an excellent and fair estimate that would fix the drainage problems. Throughought the entire project, Joel sent videos of the work being performed. He and the crew went above and beyond to make sure we wouldn't have any future issues. I am so impressed by Joel and Sons, and I will call them again for future projects. More importantly, I will make referrals to my family and friends.

It took a few days to get a quote and discuss pricing but I'm really glad that we waited and chose Reynaldo's company. They were fast, efficient and I continue to work with them for my weekly landscaping maintenance at a very fair price. He is responsive and will personally come to address any concerns that you may have. He also continued to follow up after installation and returned on multiple occasions to adjust the water time/frequency until it could stay on the same schedule forever. One thing that stands out to me about Reynaldo is that he is considerate and thoughtful about everything and treats your home & backyard like it's his own. They ended up killing some small flowers on the side of the home due to having to constantly walk through that area and moving equipment over the mulch. Before I could say anything, he pointed it out to me and told me that they planned to replace those flowers when they're done (which they did). It's these "little" things that show extra effort that you might not find at other companies and why I highly recommend them. He is also considerate of HOA rules and made sure to always communicate to me when they planned to come and do some work so that I can tell my neighbors. Everything came out beautiful and remains great to this day. They showed up on time every day at 6:30am and worked nonstop until dusk. They removed two big truck loads of dirt, old sod, weeds, roots and old plants by loading the truck using wheelbarrows. They put in new drip irrigation, new sprinkler lines and valves and repaired my outdoor electrical outlets. They built three paver borders and used cement to make a paver border fence I built by stacking blocks permanent.
