I attended a wedding reception at Brigalia's recently, and was blown away by the food. First, the cocktail hour had such a great variety of appetizers and finger-foods to choose from (tou many to remember, from seafood, to cheesesteak rolls, meats & cheeses, stuffed peppers, and on and on). Once we were seated, the soup and salad hit the spot, and the filet mignon was to die for. The mashed potatoes even blew my mind. Then the dessert room was set up in the same place as the cocktail hour, provided the guests with the chance to sit in a quieter room. We had our wedding here 11/4/17 - it was the best day of my life. At first I did not want the big extravagant wedding, but Brigalia's made this process a breeze. We booked this venue two years a two months before actually saying, "I do!" They were there every step of the way, things that we asked for or needed they never said no and tried to accommodate every request as long as they could. We worked with everyone there within those two years and two months and each and every one of the ladies were super helpful, knowledgeable, professional and all around the best people we could have worked with throughout this long and stressful engagement. Planning a wedding is not easy and has its stressful days, but with the girls at Brigalia's it was a breeze. If I could do it all over again I would still pick Brigalia's all over again. Enough about the girls that work there because I could go on and on, the actual venue itself it stunning inside and out. The chapel which is where we got married is such a beautiful area inside and out. The food at Brigalia's was to die for, although we did not get to eat a lot the day of our wedding. I suggest you try to make it to your cocktail hour because we missed it and everyone at our wedding stated that it was the best cocktail hour they have ever been to. The dinner food everyone raved about and the dessert out of this world! Every single food item I was told it was all to die for. Fortunately, we go to a wedding there this Friday and get to experience it on the other side of things which we are very much looking forward to it. If I could give Brigalia's 6 stars, I honestly would. You get the best bang for your buck booking with Brigalia's from cocktail, to center pieces, cake is included and they have so many add ons. For example, Food trucks, food cart, mashed potato bar, photo booth and much more. The only thing I did not agree with is paying to have your ceremony there, I could understand if you were only having the ceremony there. If you are booking the venue for the whole thing they should allow you to have your ceremony there as long as you are having your reception there as well. I really don't like leaving bad reviews but I feel something should be said because I am a normal Joe Schmoe. We were planning a wedding here in September 2017 and of course gave the security deposit a year ahead. Unfortunately things came up in our family financially and personally and we decided not to have the wedding ceremony at all. Granted you have to run a business, I totally get that. We canceled months in advance and asked for anything possible back from our $2,000 deposit and the people we spoke with were entirely rude. We aren't looking for a pitty party here by any means we just simply asked because 1. It's a lot of money and 2. Things come up in life we thought they'd understand and negotiate with us, as I wasn't expecting the whole amount to begin with. We still planned on going to the deli because we liked some of their food. (Chicken Marsala and crab cakes not so much) but I don't think that will be happening. I guess the message I am trying to get across is there are different ways of handling business and this is not the correct way. Things happen, that's just life. Treat people how you would like to be treated. read more

I just had my daughters wedding there on December 6, 2015. It was a Hollywood event. The chapel and the banquet hall were beautifully decorated, the hors d'oeuvers were awesome and the main course ans desert hour was plentiful and tasty as well. The place was clean and fresh, and the servers and personal attendents were awesome. The venue was well worth the money. All of our guest is still talking about how beautiful and tasty everything was. I would difinantly have another event there. read more

We were all ready to book until we were told that we couldn't do a tasting until we put our deposit down. I've never been to a venue where you couldn't taste their food before making a decision. They send you to the deli to try the food, but popping food in the microwave isn't gonna taste the same. This is supposed to be your wedding!!! The dance floor is small & we were told our date wasn't available, but we could choose earlier if we wanted. The date I chose held certain significance to me. The place is beautiful, but I felt like they just wanted my money. Needless to say, we didn't choose brigalias. read more

I am a little late on my review but wanted to compliment the people that made my day very special ! My husband and I got married 4/1/17 and it was everything we could ask for and more ! Rosemary was amazing answered all my annoying questions and was extremely helpful ! Diana was awesome as well ! Paula my bridal attendant was great , very attentive ! She made sure everything was running smoothly and made sure my husband and I were well taken care of !We had a great experience and would absolutely recommend this Venue ! I want to say first that my wedding was nothing short of amazing. Everything was beautiful. I received so many compliments about how good the food was. Everyone loved it and couldn't believe the amount of food. All of my decorations were set up beautifully and for the most part exactly what we wanted. My maitre d, Paula, was perfect. She was really nice. She made sure I had anything and everything I wanted. I say "I" because my husband said she never brought him drinks all night. I liked Paula. At the end of the night she sent me home with the food I wanted. Before the wedding I dealt with mostly Dianna. She is the person who I did all of my planning with, literally every meeting, every phone call, and I didn't see her the entire night. She really is the sweetest, and I enjoyed planning with her. But at the same time she added a lot of extra stress. When we first met she told me they had certain decorations that I really wanted. When I went for my 6 week appointment, she tells me they don't have them. Gail, who does the decorating, did go and buy something close to what I wanted. It was so close to my wedding and out my budget, I just went with it. Dianna also told me the photo booth came with the room. I found out months later that it was an extra add price. When I called Brigalias the lady I spoke to was so nasty and unprofessinal with me. For the amount of money we are paying to have our wedding there, I should never be spoken to the way I was. I feel like they promise you things to get you to sign the contract. I think they are absolutely terrible with communication. They changed bakeries and didn't tell us. I found out when I called the bakery to schedule my tasting. They added a new ballroom and a barn. We heard about it online. They didn't tell us. Everything I wanted was very rustic, them adding a barn may have changed my ceremony space. I think a phone call or email, to all the brides, should have been sent. After my wedding, and speaking with our guests, we were told the staff was really rude. More than 3 people said they had an issue with a bartender. A few other people said their waiter/waitress was rude too. They also said they ran out of shrimp cocktail and lobster tails. Someone told us that they threw out our favors at the end of the night. They were live plants, I would have liked them. We had guests not show up, for paying the money we paid, we should have been given their meals. Like I said everything was beautiful and it really was the best day of my life. But if I knew what I know now 2 years ago when I picked brigalias, I probably wouldn't pick them. read more

I recently had my wedding here. It absolutely blew me and my fiancé away from the decor to the food and there wonderful staff. The price also amazing for what you receive. They made my wedding plans so easy. Brigalias is amazing and there chapel is omg beautiful!!!! I would recommend a thousand times to couples getting married in South Jersey. read more

The staff is very unfriendly to vendors and make up rules as they go along. They are unwilling to answer questions and compromise with very simple requests. They think know it all and are non professional when they're knowledge is tested. The sound in the chapel was no. Professional kept going which makes for background music for the patrons and bride to walk In seemingly impossible to play and keep going. So, I was in process of planning a party for my Mother's 60th Birthday. I called and spoke with Diane in regards to scheduling a tour of the facility. Upon arrival, we were not greeted immediately nor recognized. We spoke with a young lady who said that Diane would be with us in a moment. We later sat down in he main ballroom and looked through some photographs of the area. Diane came to speak with us 10 minutes later. She arrived empty handed, as in no materials for doing a tour such as a brochure or pricing list. We told her that we were planning a party and she stated that they do not book parties at their Sicklerville location, only weddings. She offered the Hammonton location to host my event. Once we heard that we couldn't host my Mother's party, my Mom then said that I myself, am getting married soon but we're not set on a date, but we have 2019 in mind. We ask how quickly they book up for weddings and she said that 2018 is almost fully booked. We asked if 2019 was available and I gave her an estimated date for the ceremony. She said that I still have, "time" but not once did she pull out a calendar to see if that date was open. Then, we had to request a tour of the facility 3 times!!! We went on a "tour" but she sped through all of the rooms and never gave a description of what could be held in which rooms. They are in the process of renovations, but we weren't aware of what was being changed. Diane was VERY passive aggressive with her "possible" racism. Once we went through 2 rooms, she asked if we wanted to take a look outside?? As if outside would not be apart of the tour of the whole facility. I drive by Brigalias everyday on my way home and I imagined having my upcoming wedding there. Her "customer service" was horrific. And I would not suggest holding any event there!! read more

Brigalias has beautiful grounds. My fiancé and I loved the outside area and the chapel but I thought the reception rooms we just ok. The ladies there are very nice but not willing to work with you on pricing or menu options. We found that both the Merion and Lucien Manor were willing to negotiate and go above our expectations to make our day the most memorable, for less. And both of their menus are extensive.
