There is not enough room to explain why this spacious, well built and elegant place (the biggest…read moremall in Ireland) is so epic and enjoyable. The exterior and interior architecture and decor, the multitude of different shops of all kinds, the large go to chains, the everything under 1 roof vibe, the assortment of restaurants and cafes, the water fountain performances outside with even more to see and do including a huge beautiful movie cinema right next to a McDonald's and at least 15 other food choices, a pub and a buffet.... You are missing nothing here. This place is for everyone, it's not for rich people or mall rats like complainers say. It is spacious and has a huge indoor parking lot built better than most and yes there are maps. This place was done so well it's hard to complain anything and keep a straight face. Dundrum is so fun, elegant and beautiful. It's a beautiful weekly must. It is missing nothing. Ps Go here on Christmas and it's a wonderland too.

My car was damaged in their car park because of the centre's very outdated standards. They refused to pay for the damage caused - their excuse: the place was built in 2005 before the current standards were in place. An uncaring, mean, unfair management with no sense of social responsibility to their disabled customers whatsoever. Appalling! Reflects really badly on the owners of the centre. I made a complaint to the UK owners about my treatment there but they haven't even bothered to respond. Beware parking there. Won't be shopping there again.

As these exurban monstrosities come, the Pavilions isn't actually that bad, but I loath out-of-town…read moreshopping centre, so there was never really a terribly good review in the works. Pavilions does have some decent shops. They've got a really big TK Maxx, a tiny Zara and a reasonable-ish sized H&M. There's only two places to sit down and have a cup of coffee, though: a Starbucks (always shite) and another horrible and over-priced café which may or may not be a Kay's Kitchen, but it's definitely in a similar vein. There's a Movies@ cinema there as well which I've not been to (nor am I likely to do so) as Pavilions is pretty much impossible to reach if you don't have a car. Not my first choice when attending to my shopping needs, but you may have gathered that already.

Pavilions is a big shopping centre in Swords. There are a variety of big stores here such as…read moreDunnes, Supervalu, Penneys and some smaller stores as well. Living in North Dublin I sometimes don't wanna head into town and fight the crowds to go to Penneys on O'Connell or Mary Street (I don't drive either) or when I need to get something from Argos. Pavilions is a nice alternate and I can get here in about 15 minutes (by bus). There are a few other standout stores I like here. I've mentioned Penneys and Argos. Aside from those I also really love the Boots here. It's a big Boots store and they've got a good selection of health and beauty stuff that some of the smaller Boots pharmacies won't carry. There is also a large McCabe's Pharmacy as well. There is a Kilkenny Gift Shop, which has Irish made gifts and handcrafts. It's a bit pricey, but if you're looking for something Irish made of high quality this is a great store. There are a few restaurants here, including some fast food types of places and cafes, and some dine in restaurants like Global Burger Kitchen. There is also a cinema, but I've haven't gone to see a movie here yet. Anyway depending on when you go it can be busy, but I haven't been here when it's too crazy. There are a variety of buses that stop just outside the shopping centre (if you don't drive). If you do drive there is a fair amount of parking available.

Well first of all here's my first review of this place. I've already done reviews on yelp only to…read morefind they've disappeared along with photos. So if this one disappears I won't be doing another one. Right here it is. If one considers the tourist office as the centre of Mullingar then this place is about an 8 to 10 minute walk. Mullingar is a charming Irish town with a lot of character and darn good foodie places. Just beside the tourist office stands a statue of Joe Dolan a famous Irish singer alas now dead. I'm pleased to say I saw him live and wow what an unusual voice. He had a number three hit in the UK in the 1969 when the charts had Elvis In the Ghetto (originally titled the Vicious Circle) David Bowie Space Oddity, Credence Clearwater Revival Bad Moon Rising with the amazing voice of John Fogerty who brought bluesy swamp rock to the hippie masses; Fogerty also holds the distinct honour of being one of the few musicians to be sued for sounding too much like himself. I digress again. This centre is a tad unusual as it has local businesses in it including a local barbers, a florist, a jewellers, a fruit & veg shop and a local butchers. Most shopping centres have the usual multi national and national names. This place has Boots, Holland & Barrett, a CarPhone warehouse and also has Dunnes Stores selling food & drink in one store and clothing and shoes in another store. The local butchers Tormeys has an on site Himalayan salt dry cure beef ager so I bought a few sirloins. I didn't need a coffee so avoided the Esquires coffee place. Worth a visit if you are close by.

This shopping center deserves more stars. It's underrated IMHO…read more Let me explain why. Firstly, it has everything you need from a shopping center to do your shopping. Dunne's Store is great and big. Then you can finalize with butcher shop, €1 place, pharmacy, sports shop, carphone warehouse etc. that's shopping for you. Want to hang out or have a lunch? There's a place that robs your pockets. That's right - Eddie Rockets. There's some lunch cafeteria. Ice cream shop. Feel sick? Go to medical and dental centre. Or visit Boots pharmacy. Need a haircut? Barbershop and hairdresser is there for you. On a parking level you can get your shoes fixed, keys cut, get some flowers etc. One thing that this place lacks is entertainment. Actually, there's a kids train that drives around with wagons. At least kids can be entertained. Spacious underground car park. With, I think, two hours free time.

I visited recently to make some last minute Christmas purchases and really found myself stuck for options. Dunnes is your usual affair, if a bit small. I would generally shop at GameStop, but that aside there is literally nothing in this place. I would save yourself the journey and head out to Blanchardstown or the Omni Center for a better selection of stores.
