Beautiful architecture, marvelous gardens and greens, perfectly semetrical stone and pebble decor, topped with exquisite fountains and various gardens and passageways to enjoy. The shops on the inside are way over priced, but your tour begins with a 8 minute video of the history. Pick up an audio set to listen to the audio tour guide explain facts about the site. Some of the extras that are easy to miss, you just have to venture around a bit was the puppy cemetery, royal gardens, a Japanese garden with passageways and even a pepperpot tower you can climb with real canons! Loved this spot, you can see sugar loaf mountain in the distance and all the beautiful Irish green surrounding your view. Must make a trip of it if you can!
