I was shopping in The Park a few months ago, on a Thursday evening around 7.30. During my trip I had purchased a game from Smyth's and put it in the front pockets of my Jumper before proceeding to go into the computers department of Harvey Norman. So my friend and I were browsing around the shop for a couple of minutes, before noticing that we wore getting a lot of stares by the sales staff around the shop. One approached us and asked us if we required any assistance in which I replied "no thanks, we're just having a look around". Which is fine until as we are browsing and we notice that the staff, and what also seemed to be the store manager to who I to have learned is Colin Curtis, are quite obviously following us around and keeping a very very close eye on my friend and I. At this stage the shop was quite empty and I start to feel very intimidated about how the members of staff where around me so we started to walk towards the exit out of the computers department where the store managers was standing at the security fences, waiting for us to pass. We obviously pass it with no alarm, feeling very uneasy about the whole situation. As I'm walking away I turn back towards the store manager and say, from about 10 feet away, "is there a problem?". He walks towards me and says "what's in your pocket", so with no hesitation I take out the game and the receipt from Smyth's and say "I purchased that in Smyth's before I came in here". His only reply was "Oh sorry we taught you had one of our games in your pocket" and proceeded to walk back to the store" I have honestly never felt so embarrassed in my life. I understand to a certain extent why they taught what they did as it was showing through my front pocket but that is NOT how you should handle a situation where you think somebody is stealing. You never accused me of stealing but I would have preferred to be accused than surrounded and stared at. That is not how you treat your "customers" Harvey Norman. Luke

It has a wide range of clothes, bags, shoes and some home-ware all under one roof. I much prefer this one to Stephen's green as it is more open and spacious. Ideally you have to shop here early in the day mid week to avoid the crazy shoppers. They like to make a huge mess of everything and throw stuff everywhere. What is wrong with these people?! I'd like to see the staff be a bit friendlier and more polite but then again, customer service in retail in Dublin isn't fantastic anyway... You definitely have to be in the mood to trawl through the railings of stuff. But can be worth it if you find something great.

A friend of hers recommended it to us, knowing how much I love karaoke and meeting new people, and from the very first night I was hooked. It's a small, cosy pub with one bar, a pool table, and darts boards, which gives it a real local charm and a relaxed, friendly feel. It's now my regular spot, especially on Friday nights where the karaoke and bingo create such a fun, lively atmosphere. There's always great energy, plenty of laughs, and a brilliant mix of people. I've met some fantastic people there and made great friends along the way. What really makes Goldsmiths stand out is the people behind the bar. Keith, the landlord, is an absolute gent--he runs the place brilliantly and makes everyone feel genuinely welcome. Rachel, the barmaid, is just as fantastic--always smiling, friendly, and great for a chat. Between them and the rest of the staff, the service is top class. Goldsmiths is a truly welcoming spot where you can relax, have a laugh, and enjoy a great night out. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and lively pub in Bray! This is a terrible shop. Of all the shops I have been into this is the worst. I was a little early…read morefor a lunch date so I popped in here for a quick look around and I kept seeing things that I absolutely needed for my home. I bought the Beldray expandable airer reduced from €30 top €17.99, 40 pedal bin liners for €2, trays, draft guards, trays and some throws total cost €45.74. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and said it was okay to leave everything I had chosen and I could pick up and pay for it on my way back after lunch. Just a tip when you shop in here get them to validate your parking as they take a €1 off your parking cost when you spend €10 or over for the car park which is next door to them. I paid and left them with a Yelp card.

Terrible customer service!…read more My mother purchased a Samsung fridge/freezer from Power City. Size is far too big for her kitchen. Although no seals have been opened or removed from the fridge, and she has the sales receipt, Power City are refusing to offer a refund/exchange as the unit has been removed from the box. Punch line....Power City took the box back with them after delivering the unit! Have been emailing back and forth the customer service desk, with absolutely no real customer service provided. Have even attempted to contact Samsung as the manufacturers to see if they could provide us an empty box....to which Power City replied our 'contact is with Power City and not Samsung'. In addition, Power City have not offered to check with their own suppliers for a box, or to check their own warehouse for said box seeing as their couriers took back the box!! Although I have very clearly explained the situation to Power City and that my mother is not in a financial position to be out of pocket €1929.95 with a fridge that is basically the size of her entire kitchen...Power City's response has consistently been a one liner email saying 'sorry we can't refund' Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from a reputable company...

There are always crowds here using the retail park but for me it lacks variety, there is a currys, next homeware, 53 Degrees North, Halfords, Smyths, TK Maxx, Harvey Normans, Petshop, Heatons and a few others, I would describe it more as a designation when you're looking for something particular as opposed to a browse where you could to be inspired :-) They have extended it further with a mc donalds and kfc drive thru and a power city has opened up recently so it's clearly bringing business in for me highlight is a crepes and coffee stall that can be found at Halfords area.
