As these exurban monstrosities come, the Pavilions isn't actually that bad, but I loath out-of-town shopping centre, so there was never really a terribly good review in the works. Pavilions does have some decent shops. They've got a really big TK Maxx, a tiny Zara and a reasonable-ish sized H&M. There's only two places to sit down and have a cup of coffee, though: a Starbucks (always shite) and another horrible and over-priced café which may or may not be a Kay's Kitchen, but it's definitely in a similar vein. There's a Movies@ cinema there as well which I've not been to (nor am I likely to do so) as Pavilions is pretty much impossible to reach if you don't have a car. Not my first choice when attending to my shopping needs, but you may have gathered that already. read more

Pavilions is a big shopping centre in Swords. There are a variety of big stores here such as Dunnes, Supervalu, Penneys and some smaller stores as well. Living in North Dublin I sometimes don't wanna head into town and fight the crowds to go to Penneys on O'Connell or Mary Street (I don't drive either) or when I need to get something from Argos. Pavilions is a nice alternate and I can get here in about 15 minutes (by bus). There are a few other standout stores I like here. I've mentioned Penneys and Argos. Aside from those I also really love the Boots here. It's a big Boots store and they've got a good selection of health and beauty stuff that some of the smaller Boots pharmacies won't carry. There is also a large McCabe's Pharmacy as well. There is a Kilkenny Gift Shop, which has Irish made gifts and handcrafts. It's a bit pricey, but if you're looking for something Irish made of high quality this is a great store. There are a few restaurants here, including some fast food types of places and cafes, and some dine in restaurants like Global Burger Kitchen. There is also a cinema, but I've haven't gone to see a movie here yet. Anyway depending on when you go it can be busy, but I haven't been here when it's too crazy. There are a variety of buses that stop just outside the shopping centre (if you don't drive). If you do drive there is a fair amount of parking available. read more

Never had anything bad to say about this mall. I disagree with other reviewer's 2 star rating, but I see what he means. I drive and Pavilions car park is more than you can ask - two hours of free parking. It only wouldn't work out for cinema visitors. I can't think of something that this mall would lack of. It has very important regular day shopping places like Penney's, TK Maxx, Super Value (with really great deals), computer shops and repairs, plenty of mobile shops, plenty of everything! Car park expansions means only one thing - people like this mall and more of them keep coming back. I'm not from Swords, so can't say where it stands compared to what's in Swords centre, but every time I'm in this area, I love coming to Pavilions. read more

I feel the need to chirp in here because I cant believe this place only has 3 stars! Its genuinely one of my favourite shopping centres! Ok, so its no Dundrum, but seriously, can anything in Ireland compare to that? I dont really think so. One of the things I like most about the Pavilions (or the PAVS as us Northsiders call it), is that they offer 2 whole hours of free parking. If your going grocery shopping or just nipping in and out...that is a serious bonus! As far as shops go, theres a pretty big selection! Among my favourites: TX MAXX, River Island, Zara, Easons, a HUGE boots, Pennies, Compub, Lifestyle Sports, JD sports, Fields.....the list goes on! Theres also a style club and two whopper grocery shops (Dunnes and Super Valu). Despite that, when Im here Its usually to go to the Cinema. They do a deadly student deal every Tuesday; large popcorn, large drink and a ticket for...wait for it....a tenner! Thats winning in my books! read more

I like coming here when in town because a lot of the clothes have very decent prices and compared to the usa, sometimes you get get great clothes at great prices and the quality is very decent. always clean and tidy. read more

Sorry no gold star for this shopping centre. Its your typical out of town shopping centre but it lacks your major stores such as Marks and Spencers and Next, but it does have a few high end retail stores like Tommy Hilfiger. Parking is free for the first 2 hours but can be an issue at weekends. With the exception of GBK the foods outlets within the centre are defiantly its major weakness, there is a Starbucks, but the other places are overpriced and sell dull food. Add a Marks and Spencers and more food outlets and you will have a top class shopping centre, but until these arrive I am off shop in Henry Street. read more

Great shopping centre with everything you need( food, drinks, clothes) without having to go into the city. I live in Swords so it's ideal for me.It has a large number of high street shops, along with more fancy stores like Kilkenny and Carrig Donn. There are two supermarkets, Supervalu and Dunnes. Dunnes also has a big department store section with clothes and homewares. There is a post office, open on a Saturday, which is handy.Upstairs there is a multi screen cinema. The shopping centre gets really busy at the weekends, so avoid unless you like that kind of atmosphere. Parking is free for the first two hours. read more

Good shopping centre! I like it for the 2 hour free parking, well kept toilets and common areas along with a wide spread of shops from Boots to Supervalu to Apple Store to Starbucks, etc If you are not driving, the 41s and 33 buses will take you there and the cinema is a good experience also. read more

Great place for a potter around! Although it would be great to see the likes of Topshop, River Island etc. There isnt much of a variety of clothes shops. read more

Handy as its a one stop shop for everything I could possibly want to buy in a hurry (must blokes like myself are not fans of lengthy shopping trips that take more time than absolutely necessary) so I like how everything is under one roof here, and close to where I currently live. I only give this place three stars though because of the amount of time it takes to drive into and out of the car park. Very frustrating. Nearly be quicker most of the time. read more

Pavilions is a bright, airy centre with multi story parking, a large Dunnes, Zara, H&M, TK Maxx River Island, Next, Pennys and lots more. There's a good atmosphere here and the staff are very friendly. The only thing I would say is that during busy times the carpark is a nightmare but other than that you really can't fault it! read more
