So I decided to drop the boat off this morning at about 10 30 am, he said he would call and touch base later in the day. To my amazement the phone rang at about 2 pm it was Mike saying your good to go, Your service was completed and all the little jobs I wanted doing were done. Oh yes he said one thing I didn't do was the compressor filter because it was spotless , not only that he took a picture for me to see , so I asked why he didn't change it anyway , he replied because they are really expensive andyours was spotless. He offered to install the battery free if I wanted to have it replaced as well. He suggested that I buy one from Costco. He was not pushing to sell his own product. The rebuilt alternator has a standard one year warranty. Understandably, the replacement parts brushes, voltage regulator etc.. are not Honda parts he explained. Rather, they are aftermarket. My only options were either I open it and diagnose the problem and try to fix by myself or somehow transport it to the dealer service centre and get it fixed. As I am not a trained mechanic, I called GVP, the dealer of Can-am products, for help. They came to the site to either fix it on site or to transport it to their location. It was minor fix, they fixed it for no cost to me. It was great feeling. Thank you GVP.

After going to a few places to find an alternator, we finally came here to get it…read more We did call beforehand and the guy who answered sounded so sleepy that we wondered if he really got the model we were looking for. Well, it still was not quite what we were looking for. Still a different amp, guess the model was no longer around? We got them to install it so that if there's any issue we can come back. There's a 1- year warranty. It took about an hour for them to remove and install the "new" alternator. They will take your existing alternator though. Guess they will refurbish that and sell it to others in future. We took two cars in case the problem car couldn't start and we didn't want to be stranded. It can be hard to find parking in the area as there are many cars with issues here. It has been a couple of weeks now and the car is working.
