Pretty good breakfast deli with reasonable prices. I went there around 10am and there wasn't a lot of selection.

I also stopped in for a drink this time and had the cantarito which as delicious. The bartender was so nice he asked me if it needed more tequila and topped it up (I ended up feeling that extra tequila later ) He also gave my boyfriend a delicious passion fruit margarita, which was delicious!!, on the house! It's cozy in there and you can tell they have regulars as the bartender who was also serving greeted customers like family. He was very attentive and welcoming. I definitely want to go again based on our interaction with him. The place is also well decorated. It's modern yet you feel like you're transported to somewhere tropical from the foliage outside to the neon signs and large tv screens displaying beaches and salsa music inside.

We sat at the bar and ordered some app's, the bartender was super friendly and made great menu suggestions. I think the "owner"came out and was just as friendly he gave a us the story on how/why he opened the restaurant - explained the different tequilas to us that they serve. It was honestly like hanging out at a friends place. Also if you mention them in an IG story you get 10% off the bill. I will def be back

She was celebrating her…read morebirthday and wanted to have dinner with a very close friend, so I looked for a place to get my own supper. Of course Long Island has lots of diners, but they are all unique, and I would say that based on my experience, Imperial is one of the best. I did not want your typical huge diner meal, which is much too much food, so I went with a nice dinner size Mediterranean Salad. The food was excellent - top quality fresh ingredients, put together beautifully and delicious. I was equally impressed by the service. When I travel to New York, I will often run into people who are not particularly friendly or helpful, including many who work at restaurants. This was not the case at all at Imperial. They were kind, and eager to give me a great experience. For a diner, it was not too noisy, and everything was very clean. Prices were very fair too. The only thing lacking .. and I saw this a lot in New York, was non-alcoholic beer. I cannot drink alcohol, and this is something I really enjoy with my meals. Imperial does have a variety of "Mocktails" .. so there are options for folks like me ..but it would be nice to see some beer options for the growing number of people who either cannot drink, or prefer to avoid alcohol. This is definitely a good choice if you are looking for a nice diner. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, our food took an exceptionally long time to arrive, and my potatoes were undercooked and hard. That said, the lobster Benedict was absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of my meal. My friend ordered the steak and eggs and requested her steak medium, but it came out well done, which was disappointing. Another friend ordered the lobster mac and cheese and said it was very filling--so much so that she had leftovers to take home. The Caesar salad was good, and the fried calamari was also well prepared and not overly oily, which I appreciated. We also missed the show, which was a bit of a letdown. Despite the service delays and a few issues with the food preparation, there were enough positives that I would return and give them another try.

We started with a lunch option, consisting of the Spanakopita (flaky and generously filled with spinach and feta) and a Greek Salad (fresh with lightly dressed vegetables). We also shared a Pita Chicken Gyro, the chicken was well-seasoned, the pita bread was soft and freshly baked, and all of it combined made each bite enjoyable. We couldn't leave without trying dessert, so we ordered the Orange Cake. At first, the texture hit differently; if I can compare it to anything, it would be close to bread pudding - it was moist but not overly wet. After the first bite, we didn't want to stop eating it. The flavors were divine. Our server, Jocelyn was a tremendous help; she was personable, attentive, and thoughtful, considering our needs before we even asked. Delighted to have finally been able to visit this hidden gem. Pleasant environment with great music softly playing in the background. I highly recommend it, and we can't wait to return!

I went with my plus one, and from the moment we walked in, the experience was great. The place is very clean, not very big, but super comfortable with a nice traditional Greek vibe. We were greeted and seated by one of the owners (one of the brothers), which made it feel even more welcoming. Our waitress was friendly, professional, and checked on us several times, which I always appreciate without it feeling overdone. I ordered the gyro, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. But the real standout? Dessert. It was honestly out of this world. The owner mentioned it's his mother's recipe, "made with love," and you can truly taste that in every bite. I'm still thinking about it and would go back just for that alone. Great location, great staff, and an overall really enjoyable experience. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to!
