Pretty good breakfast deli with reasonable prices. I went there around 10am and there wasn't a lot of selection.

It's sad that I have to write an updated review, but my wife and I stopped in after some shopping…read morein the sands and were extremely disappointed. At 5pm (they close at 9pm) on a Sunday, they were "out of stock" of a number of items, and couldn't give an answer of when certain items would be replenished (this includes things like Chicken, chips, cilantro). In addition, the overall service was much slower than what we've come to expect. We took our food to go, and when we got home, the quality of the food wasn't what I remembered - example is that the avocado in my salad was hard. Not sure if it was just an off day, but I don't know if I would return to this location. Sad.

They have paper menus in house so you an figure out what you want before joining the line. The restaurant is very clean, even the bathrooms were spotless. I really love the ways they contribute to climate health. Everything from their packaging, to their rewards programs, exudes an 'Earth-friendly' sentiment. With our event offer, we were also gifted with reusable bento lunch boxes and a very chic Just Salad reusable tote! On this particular day, Javon helped us with our orders. The kids menu is not included on their paper menu but it is displayed on their digital menu. I'm assuming that it likely changes often. I purchased a kid's Om Nom Nom Bowl for my daughter and also bought a Just Salad X Sesame Street reusable bowl for her. In the future, we will be able to order bowls, using her reusable bowl and receive one free topping per in-store order. They also have a BringBack Bowl program that allows you to order online and pick up your order in one of their green reusable bowls and return the bowl once you're done using it. This is a pilot program that began in 2021 and is only available at certain locations. I also purchased the Pick 2 Combo for my husband, including their Honey Crispy Chicken Wrap and Strawberry Banana Smoothie. I stole a bite of his and it was really good! Their ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and they pack those wraps to the brim! Their house made sauces are soooo yummy! The smoothie was thick and flavorful but not too sweet. Tracy also helped us with ringing up our order and we appreciated the staff's patience when it came to our indecisiveness. Everything was packaged with care. I will visit again.

She was celebrating her…read morebirthday and wanted to have dinner with a very close friend, so I looked for a place to get my own supper. Of course Long Island has lots of diners, but they are all unique, and I would say that based on my experience, Imperial is one of the best. I did not want your typical huge diner meal, which is much too much food, so I went with a nice dinner size Mediterranean Salad. The food was excellent - top quality fresh ingredients, put together beautifully and delicious. I was equally impressed by the service. When I travel to New York, I will often run into people who are not particularly friendly or helpful, including many who work at restaurants. This was not the case at all at Imperial. They were kind, and eager to give me a great experience. For a diner, it was not too noisy, and everything was very clean. Prices were very fair too. The only thing lacking .. and I saw this a lot in New York, was non-alcoholic beer. I cannot drink alcohol, and this is something I really enjoy with my meals. Imperial does have a variety of "Mocktails" .. so there are options for folks like me ..but it would be nice to see some beer options for the growing number of people who either cannot drink, or prefer to avoid alcohol. This is definitely a good choice if you are looking for a nice diner. Highly recommended.

I was not loud, disrespectful, or causing any type of scene. I simply walked into the restaurant with my baby in a stroller and was immediately told that strollers were not allowed and that I had to leave. As a mother, transporting your baby safely is already difficult enough. Most restaurants will try to accommodate families by moving a table, offering a high chair or booster seat, or politely asking if the stroller can be folded. Instead, I was simply told to leave without any accommodations being offered. I was told that the stroller was considered a fire hazard. I calmly asked the employee a follow-up question: "How would you handle someone in a wheelchair?" I was genuinely shocked by the response I received when I was told that wheelchairs are also not allowed because they are considered a fire hazard as well. The restaurant was not busy at all. There were plenty of open tables that could have easily been adjusted, or they could have at least offered a high chair or another accommodation instead of immediately asking us to leave. It honestly felt like the priority was fitting in extra tables for profit rather than accommodating families, parents, or individuals with disabilities. I was never given the opportunity to speak with the owner because I was forced to leave, and when I later called the restaurant, there was no way to speak with management directly. I calmly informed the employee that I would be contacting the Nassau County Department of Health and the Fire Marshal because I was extremely concerned by the statement that wheelchairs would also not be allowed due to being considered a "fire hazard." That response was genuinely shocking to hear. What upset me even more was the attitude of the employee, who seemed proud of the decision rather than trying to help or accommodate a mother with a child. Throughout the interaction, I remained respectful, did not raise my voice, and simply asked follow-up questions to better understand the policy and how situations involving disabilities would be handled. Unfortunately, I left feeling discriminated against for being a parent with a child who needed a stroller. As someone who owned a restaurant for 15 years, I would never treat customers, parents, or individuals with disabilities this way. Customer service should be about accommodation, understanding, and respect.

I made reservations thru opentable, but when arriving I saw some availability inside and outside. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our waiter was Rich, he was friendly, funny and attentive to what we ordered. He apparently juggles apples too impressive lol but they are great at this restaurant. Food: I had the lobster mac and cheese and the not so old fashioned, both were delicious. My friends had shrimp and fries with the rum punch as well as the chicken and drink with prosecco and with a juice that made it turn purple pretty cool. I believe it came with a lemon drop shot. Appetizers we got the calamari and mozzarella Rangoon delish. We sat outside in front on the mile but I hear they have seating in the back area near the water. Definitely come here!! I will definitely come back here and try a few other dishes as well. Keep up the good work and great tasting food and drinks.
