I can't think of a better place to send my child.

Due to the amazingly qualified and nurturing teachers, I have watched my son blossom into a confident, independent learner. My daughter is in her 2nd year at Dayspring and is having an equally great experience. The teachers have worked with us and have been so patient with her individual needs and challenges. The communication has been extremely open and has been with all of the teachers over the years. Our family has literally experienced every class offered at Dayspring from Parent-tot to Kindergarten and I have only praises for the school, its educators, and the administration.

He has had some Behavorial issues this year so far where he…read morehas had to be picked up for the day numerous times. 2-3 weeks ago we had a zoom meeting and all agreed to do a video call mid-day with the staff and our son to praise him for doing good and to remind him not to bite or hit. That video call we all agreed on happened ONE time a day or two after our zoom meeting and not once since then. When they talk to you about you child misbehaving they talk to you like you're a kid as well "you know biting and spitting is wrong."We (myself and my wife) already know what Behavior is wrong and don't need it spoon fed to us. They also don't really go over what happens. I understand you can't have eyes on every single kid every second. Is he being picked on? Provoked? Etc? He isn't just randomly going up to someone and hitting them for no reason. They didn't really give him a chance to improve or give us the resources they claimed to have available so that makes me kind of sad. I wonder why they expelled him so fast. He has been going there for 4 years. They also haven't had a "principal" for the past 3-4 months. We were already talking about switching daycares a couple weeks ago (though we didn't want to because everyone is nice and friendly) so I guess it's for the best. If your 4 YEAR OLD child isn't an absolute 100% angel and fluent in logical thinking and comprehension of consequences then maybe look elsewhere.

I am so sad I had to enroll my daughter in another preschool bc I switched jobs and started working longer hours Some of the girls have my number and one of the girls that was there babysits my daughter! Miss Alecia is amazing and my daughter absolutely LOVES her! When I would drop off and if Alecia was there she would run up to her so fast and I was non-existent lol! I always recommend this daycare to my friends with little ones. If I ever switch jobs or get a new schedule, I will definitely come back if they have availability bc my little girl made so many relationships and friends, even with the big kids. Thank you Roz for an unforgettable experience for my daughter and I. We will miss everyone so much!

My children are not only receiving a quality education, but they are active and involved in a strong Christian environment. The school has some fantastic teachers and our administrator's first priority has been the needs of the children. Both of my children have used the onsite daycare for several years, as well as the Summer Kids camp. My boys have loved the field trips, the activities and the swimming in the summers. Gethsemane also offers extra-curricular programs such as Band, Choir, Drama and Sports. We love the variety of activities that they are able to participate in without ever having to leave campus.

Gethsemane puts the "it takes a village to raise a child" model into practice. From early on, children and their families get to know all of the staff at the school offering a true community feeling. Small class sizes give teachers and other faculty members the opportunity to understand and meet your child's individual needs. Learning at Gethsemane doesn't just happen in the classroom or in a text book. Our teachers use outside the book activities, acts of service, exercises and technology to engage growing young minds. Throughout their educational experience at GLS those young minds and souls are nourished with the word of the Lord. Children attend Chapel weekly and all grade levels participate in Christian Studies.

They had VERY poor communication when it came to hand foot mouth outbreak, so we unfortunately had to heal from that. This place needs to be investigated and shut down. We are still suffering.

I enrolled him in 2: one for math tutoring and the other for a robotics building camp with Mindstorms Lego kits. It was expensive. It was mediocre and average in the math tutoring. The robot camp is a complete fiasco and I encourage you to not enroll or attend. I was told when registering him that there was only one space left. Obviously, myself and the 20 other mothers who were paying the exorbitant price were all told the same thing. It's a large room full of old computers and a few Mindstorm Lego kits with one supervising adult managing the room of 20 boys. For the price I paid for the camps I could have bought 2 of the kits and kept him at home. My son was bullied and there was no supervision for him to talk with and take the situation too. I have dropped in at times other than the pick up to assess the situation and witnessed a room full of kids with NO adult or teacher. Perhaps the other programs during the school year or one on one sessions are different-I did not have any experience with those. My family experienced the summer camps being held at the Grand Canyon Prep charter school which is a mile away from the address for the business. Our experience is bad, I would not go back, I would like to rate this experience somewhere around -100 on the richter scale and encourage other moms to seek out summer camps elsewhere for their child's safety.
