Not sure what this business was like before they moved to their new location but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Took days to get a response from them, then we set a time for the initial phone call and they never called. I had to call them back. The place is dirty, gross and super small. Once my daughters assessment was over, the lady looked at me and said "got the cash"? I felt like the whole thing was a scam. She said she would email me all the available times slots they have open and who would be available to tutor, whelp, it's been a week and she never sent the email. I should of trusted my gut when I walked in and immediately felt like I should walk out. Do not go here! read more

Yelp needs a rating lower than the 1 star-something lower would be needed to rate this experience for my son at the All Around Math Learning summer camps. I enrolled him in 2: one for math tutoring and the other for a robotics building camp with Mindstorms Lego kits. It was expensive. It was mediocre and average in the math tutoring. The robot camp is a complete fiasco and I encourage you to not enroll or attend. I was told when registering him that there was only one space left. Obviously, myself and the 20 other mothers who were paying the exorbitant price were all told the same thing. It's a large room full of old computers and a few Mindstorm Lego kits with one supervising adult managing the room of 20 boys. For the price I paid for the camps I could have bought 2 of the kits and kept him at home. My son was bullied and there was no supervision for him to talk with and take the situation too. I have dropped in at times other than the pick up to assess the situation and witnessed a room full of kids with NO adult or teacher. Perhaps the other programs during the school year or one on one sessions are different-I did not have any experience with those. My family experienced the summer camps being held at the Grand Canyon Prep charter school which is a mile away from the address for the business. Our experience is bad, I would not go back, I would like to rate this experience somewhere around -100 on the richter scale and encourage other moms to seek out summer camps elsewhere for their child's safety. read more

I had three children attend the all around learning summer camp. My 5 year old was in computers and my 8 and 9 year old was in robotics for a week. My youngest wasn't digging the computers as much but showing interest in robotics, possibly because her sibling were having fun with the mindstorm kits. When I picked her up the first day the staff approached me and gladly suggested and offered her to change to robotics. Great! My daughter said she liked programming but preferred messing with the Lego mindstorm stuff. The staff was helpful, encouraging and supportive with all of showing great flexibility. All three kids had an awesome week and want to do it again. They looked forward to going each day. We did use a groupon which was extremely helpful. read more

This is the only place that I've found through Google that offers math tutoring to adult learners. I called last week to schedule an appointment for the next Monday (today). The women on the phone kept trying to schedule me for times like 5pm. I informed her a few times that I live far away (traffic) and that my son has gymnastics classes on Monday night. She kept arguing with me about times and I told her I'll just find somewhere else. Finally she agreed that 1pm. She insisted that the first session had to be with her so that she could evaluate me, and then after that I could use other tutors with better hours. I wasn't thrilled, but low on choices...so I took it. Drive the 40 minutes to get there today at 12:50. Guy in the office seems confused. He calls and texts her and finally just puts her on the phone with me. She's out of town. Supposedly somebody called me this morning to tell me that (never happened). So now she's trying to see how long I'm willing to hang around while she attempts to find a tutor. (So I guess my first appointment didn't have to be with her after all?) I left. I'm still crying. I'm a single, working mom and I had scheduled my one day off around this appointment that never happened. Can't rate the tutoring itself since I never received any. I believe her name was Kate and she's really argumentative and unconcerned about others schedules. read more

My kids ( 11 and 12) usually hate going to camp. I signed them up for Tribute Training and Fascinating Science Experiments and they LOVED it. It kept them busy, entertained, happy and tired!!! I love the camps that All Around learning has to offer! read more

I am very impressed & pleased with my experience will the all around learning camps. I have three kids, ages 5,7,&9, who attended many camps: computer programming, Lego, mixing magic, & mine craft. They couldn't get enough! It was fantastic! The director Kate was so involved & helpful to find the right camp for each child. She cares about the kids & runs a wonderful program. This is a great camp that allows your child mind to explore. My son did 2 camps, Robotic and Inventions. He couldn't wait to come everyday. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars b/c of the distance from our house in North Phoenix to Guadeloupe exit was quite far but after a smile on his face everyday at pick up it was worth it the drive. read more

Both my sons attended All Around Math, one for camps and one for tutoring. After viewing negative reviews that highlighted significant issues about All Around Learning Center, I contacted the company via both phone and email to inquire about their programs. When I reached them via phone, the person I spoke with very rudely informed me that she simply didn't have the time to answer my very brief and routine questions. Although I was taken aback by her lack of customer service skills, I figured I'd give her the benefit of the doubt and called back at what I figured was a more convenient time for an apparently short-staffed establishment, yet nobody answered the phone at all. Shortly thereafter, I sent All Around Learning Center a very brief email inquiry about their course availability. I received no response. Apparently, they are so short-staffed that they cannot be bothered to provide a potential client with even a one sentence reply. I, as a result, will discourage other interested parties from providing this company with any of their hard-earned money. If All Around Learning Center conducts business by ignoring potential customers, I can only imagine the dissatisfaction experienced by those who've already paid their unreasonably priced fees. I'm grateful that I learned of their practices prior to paying them a cent. read more

My daughter went this place like 4-5 years ago and improved in school when she was struggling in math. She started doing great. Fast forward... 5-6 years later, my son lost confidence in school during 5th grade. I place him back there... and now this year he has improved. He has more confidence .. he even got award from school for comfidence and being a great role model. I recommend this one on one tutoring, positivity,and helping children get confident. read more

I spoke to the camp director about my concerns. She was very responsive, courteous and genuine. The camp did their best to alleviate my concerns. At this point, I am comfortable giving them a ratings bump. It is a good camp overall, but I still believe that it would be beneficial to have a little more help with some of the harder camps they have. read more

This place offers private tutoring and homework help for my child which has made such a difference in her life. I was frustrated trying to help my fourth grader with her homework. It didn't seem like I had the skills to teach her in a way she could understand and she was frustrated from trying to learn but just not getting it. The initial trial session gained an immediate response from my daughter and for the first time she was excited about math. Since then there have been no tears and best yet, during the times we aren't at tutoring and she is working on her own she doesn't need my help and she isn't sitting at the table for hours getting wrong answers. I'm truly grateful for this place and it's employees. Last time she went she was completing harder problems than what her teacher assigned her in class. Finally her effort matches her grade and the self-esteem boost she has gained let's me know we made the right decision. read more

I found out about All Around's summer camps from a neighbor on Nextdoor.com. I checked out their course offerings and was thrilled to find a Minecraft Modding class for my 8 year old daughter who had been talking about learning how to mod nonstop for past few months. I looked into a program in the Scottsdale area but they were VERY expensive for something I wasn't even sure she would like! I'm so grateful I came across All Around because 1) Summer camps were conveniently located at the SCDC campus just a few minutes from me, 2) The classes were reasonably priced, 3) The class size was small so my daughter had a chance to ask questions and get clarification on things when she didn't understand why something was done a certain way...I think there were only 7 kids in her class and 4) Kate, the director, was so helpful and accommodating! Kate was very responsive to my phone messages and she was so easy to work with. Same goes for the rest of the staff at All Around! When I dropped off my daughter the first time, I was greeted at the the check-in table promptly, my daughter was given a name badge identifying which class she would be in and she was invited to sit and watch a movie with the other kids until her class was called. She was very comfortable being with the staff and her instructor and when I went to pick her up and sign her out she was OVER THE MOON EXCITED to show me what she had created! I cannot get over how much these kids accomplished in 15 hours of introductory instruction time! My daughter said the class was so much fun and she enjoyed everything she learned and got to make. Now I know she will certainly want to continue learning about coding and modding...I only hope that All Around will offer more advanced classes like this in her age group. She will be back in a few weeks for a Computer Game Design course and she is really looking forward to building a game that she can play and share with us! My son attended their summer camp for 2 weeks this year. The curriculum is cool and my son seems to enjoy it. However, one thing that bothered me is that they have no electronic device policies. Kids are allowed to bring their tablets & phones to school and are allowed to play games during pre-camp, breaks, lunch, and post-camp hours. I really don't like that because this is a mixed age group camp. Certain games are just not good for younger kids. So far all the camps I have been to have clear policy of no electronics (such as the phoenix zoo camp). For next year, I would call to confirm such policy if you are sensitive about 1) how long your kids are glued to tablets & phones instead of being social in the summer camp 2) potentially get negative influence from other bigger kids playing violent games. read more
