Not only was the deadline missed, but I received multiple calls pushing the completion date further and further back; first to Thursday, then to Friday at 3 PM. When I arrived on Saturday afternoon to finally pick up my coat, it wasn't just unfinished, it was actively being worked on, despite all the promised deadlines. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Out of courtesy, I gave them an hour and a half. When I returned, the coat was still not finished. I left frustrated, only to receive a call moments later saying it was suddenly done. This experience showed a lack of professionalism, reliability, and respect for customers' time. A straightforward repair turned into days of shifting promises and unnecessary inconvenience. I cannot recommend Elsa's Alterations based on this experience and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

I took three pairs of pants to this store to be cleaned and hemmed. When I dropped them off, I was…read moretold that the alterations were sent out, so I expected the work to be done professionally. Unfortunately, that was not the case. This is the worst hemming job I have ever seen. One pair of my orange pants was hemmed using bright pink thread, which is clearly visible along the hem. The stitching wasn't even secured properly--it started coming loose while I was standing in the store speaking with the staff. When I brought the issue to their attention, I was told I would have to wait to speak with the manager, John, because he wasn't in the store that day. After paying $57 to have three pairs of pants hemmed, I now have to pay to have all three pairs redone correctly. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the alterations and the lack of an immediate resolution. Based on my experience I would not use them for alterations.

The owner knows what she's doing! She had me try my romper + shoes on so she could pin it. I had originally wanted a little longer in length, but she did a great job explaining why I shouldn't with the type of shoes I was pairing with it. I trusted her judgement and the length came out perfect. Pricing was fair, I paid $40. Turnaround time was about a week which was fine because I wasn't in a rush. Overall, I had another great experience at Pro Alterations!

I took my daughter's Homecoming dress to this alterations shop, and unfortunately, this was by far…read moremy worst experience yet. I have used her services several times, and every single time she has been rude and unpleasant, but today crossed the line. Not only did she tell me that I "didn't know how to do a zipper," but she altered my daughter's dress so tightly that it was extremely uncomfortable and her breasts were literally being smashed by the dress. When I questioned the fit, I was told that this was what she "had to do to make the dress stay up." It was so tight that when the zipper was being zipped, the sheer fabric at the top of the dress was literally being pulled and stretched to the point that it was visibly straining and ripped. That is NOT what a properly fitted dress should look like. There is a huge difference between properly altering a dress and making it so tight that the person wearing it is uncomfortable, her body is being painfully compressed, and the actual fabric of the dress is being strained just to zip it. I still paid for the service, even though I absolutely should not have. Now, after paying to have my daughter's special Homecoming dress altered, my daughter is without a dress because it was altered so poorly that she cannot wear it. We are now left scrambling to find another dress at the last minute. This was supposed to be an exciting experience for my daughter, and instead, it has been incredibly frustrating and upsetting. I will never use this alterations shop again. Good customer service, professionalism, and actually listening to the customer should be the bare minimum. If you're trusting someone with an important dress for a special occasion, I would seriously think twice before using this business.
