When other customers come in, they're often greeted by name and it gives you the feel that Heartfelt has a very happy and loyal fan-base in it's little nook on Alma Vale Road. I'll warn you now, though - you'll go in for a coffee and a cake, or a nice lunch and you'll end up wanting to buy one of everything before you leave. This single shop could provide my entire wardrobe (although it's slightly pricey, it's also completely unique - not a bad combination IMO). Heartfelt isn't in an obvious location so it's easy to miss, but it's well worth seeking out. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the major coffee shops on Whiteladies Road and it's endlessly better than those impersonal giants...

The room the take you in has a rail of dresses down each side, I'm guessing there's about 40 to choose from. You have to take your shoes off before you enter the room but this just emphasises how special these dresses are. So after a contemplation lunch, I ended up cancelling our 3rd appointment that day, we went straight back to Clifton brides and ordered my dress! The service is great, they give you a 1:1 service and will help you get in/out of the dresses, whilst making recommendations that may suit you as well as advice on accessories, hair etc. Went back this weekend, for my first fitting and I just didn't want to leave. Obviously I'm hoping to only get married the once otherwise I think I'd be a regular at this place!

The large selection of bridal gowns include the likes of Maggie Sottero and Benjamin Roberts and while the staff offer their opinions, they are happy to sit back and let you try on a range of different styles. I didn't really know what I was looking for when I went in and the member of staff assigned to helping me was very patient as I trawled through all the rails. There are also prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses but I didn't really pay that much attention as I was to busy wondering what I'd look like in THAT Sex and the City Vivienne Westwood inspired dress... Prices are competitive and sales are a regular occurrence so stock often moves quite quickly depending on the time of year. Appointments are essential at weekends though I only had to ring up on the day for my midweek afternoon appointment. My bridesmaids dresses which were ment to arrive beginning of may arrived beginning and middle of JUNE for some reason separately even though they were ordered together. Well I think you've got the pattern there. Their reasoning everytime for these was - -the designers will see when your wedding date is and don't always rush if there's a while until it.(not a valid reason to me) - its just one of those things (was mentioned quiet a few time. The section downstairs are buy off the hanger dresses, these can't be ordered but can be altered. Upstairs are the dresses made to order and can be pretty much designed how you want which is great. The staff are amazing, they were so friendly and made picking the dress so much easier. They were completely honest on what did and didn't look nice and they weren't pushy in the slightest. The lady that served us in particular was brilliant, I could have stayed and chatted to her all day. Prices vary depending on dresses but they are all pretty reasonable for bridal gowns, most are between £1000- £1300. I can't recommend this store enough. Not only do they stock beautiful bridal gowns they also offer fantastic service which I think is so important. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!

The lady serving us was great she offered advise where needed and guided us through the different cuts, colours and materials. The dresses are pretty standard prices for bridesmaid dresses £200-250 mark. And they offer an alteration service as well. They also offer a large selection of bridal gowns, as well as men's suits, we did shop here for those so I can't really comment. Really pleased with this place and looking forward to seeing the dresses when they arrive in a few weeks.

Unfortunately Ann Hardings team were unable to match those expectations as their customer service was despicable. For some unknown reason throughout my appointment it was made very clear to my mother and I that everything we liked was rather expensive and quite possibly out of our price range. I can only assume that as the appointment was a walk in and that our attire (casual saturday clothes) may not have lived up to their expectations. I decided that even if there was a dress i liked i was not prepared to spend my money in a shop that could treat my mother and i like something out of pretty woman. Unfortunately for them and to the delight of Berketex Bride they missed out on a sale, bridesmaid dresses and suit hire for 8 men. My wedding cost over £30,000.00 and money was not a problem as they had insinuated. So i guess the last laugh is on me. I did make my complaint known, but as i expected no apology was offered, so if you want rude customer service id recommend shopping here!
