what a disappointment! My daugther found her ideal bridesmaid dress here 18 months ago. At the time, she was prepared to put down a deposit but was informed that was not necessary - there was plenty of time and the dress could be ordered 6 months prior to her wedding in July 2013. A few months later she returned with 3 of her 4 bridesmaids for them to be measured. Again she was not advised to place a deposit but to return 6 months before the wedding to finalise arrangements.
Imagine our dismay when in January 2013 she has discovered that the dress has been discontiued. Bridal Rooms did not contact her to advise her of this despite that fact that they had her contact details and they admitted that they had been given notice of dress being discontinued. Neither did they inform her when she made the appointment to go in and finalise the arrangements.
When she arrived at the shop with the last bridesmaid to be measured, she was given a different dress, albeit similar to her original choice. Althought she was aware the dress was different [blue rather than teal and with a different neckline] the staff did not mention it until she queried this.
The owners did apologise but this does not make up for the disappointment, lack of service and the fact she has to start looking all over again.
There is one thing for sure. She will not be buying the dresses from the Bridal Rooms now and will certainly not recommend it to her friends. read more
