In her late teens, Caroline Castigliano's commercial ambitions took hold and she started her first successful business based in Florida, under the name 'Survival Kit', designing active sportswear for women. The collections were sold through prestigious outlets such as Macy's, Bloomingdales and Saks. She returned to the UK in 1990 and set up her first bespoke bridal boutique in Surrey in 1991, specialising in classically understated, yet contemporary designs. She incorporated expert corsetry to make the gowns fit perfectly and enhance the female form. Ever since, her business has gone from strength to strength, borne from word of mouth recommendations and industry wide acclaim.
