When other customers come in, they're often greeted by name and it gives you the feel that Heartfelt has a very happy and loyal fan-base in it's little nook on Alma Vale Road. I'll warn you now, though - you'll go in for a coffee and a cake, or a nice lunch and you'll end up wanting to buy one of everything before you leave. This single shop could provide my entire wardrobe (although it's slightly pricey, it's also completely unique - not a bad combination IMO). Heartfelt isn't in an obvious location so it's easy to miss, but it's well worth seeking out. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the major coffee shops on Whiteladies Road and it's endlessly better than those impersonal giants...

The large selection of bridal gowns include the likes of Maggie Sottero and Benjamin Roberts and while the staff offer their opinions, they are happy to sit back and let you try on a range of different styles. I didn't really know what I was looking for when I went in and the member of staff assigned to helping me was very patient as I trawled through all the rails. There are also prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses but I didn't really pay that much attention as I was to busy wondering what I'd look like in THAT Sex and the City Vivienne Westwood inspired dress... Prices are competitive and sales are a regular occurrence so stock often moves quite quickly depending on the time of year. Appointments are essential at weekends though I only had to ring up on the day for my midweek afternoon appointment. On your first visit you are asked to fill out a couple of forms and the process is quite business like but after this initial stage the staff are more relaxed and give you plenty of time to pick and choose the designs you want to try on.

My bridesmaids dresses which were ment to arrive beginning of may arrived beginning and middle of JUNE for some reason separately even though they were ordered together. Well I think you've got the pattern there. Their reasoning everytime for these was - -the designers will see when your wedding date is and don't always rush if there's a while until it.(not a valid reason to me) - its just one of those things (was mentioned quiet a few time. There are such a variety of designs in lots of sizes. The section downstairs are buy off the hanger dresses, these can't be ordered but can be altered. Upstairs are the dresses made to order and can be pretty much designed how you want which is great. The staff are amazing, they were so friendly and made picking the dress so much easier. They were completely honest on what did and didn't look nice and they weren't pushy in the slightest. The lady that served us in particular was brilliant, I could have stayed and chatted to her all day. Prices vary depending on dresses but they are all pretty reasonable for bridal gowns, most are between £1000- £1300. I can't recommend this store enough. Not only do they stock beautiful bridal gowns they also offer fantastic service which I think is so important. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!

The lady serving us was great she offered advise where needed and guided us through the different cuts, colours and materials. The dresses are pretty standard prices for bridesmaid dresses £200-250 mark. And they offer an alteration service as well. They also offer a large selection of bridal gowns, as well as men's suits, we did shop here for those so I can't really comment. Really pleased with this place and looking forward to seeing the dresses when they arrive in a few weeks.

Truly disappointing!…read more As every bride knows, shopping for your wedding dress should be one of the most enjoyable days leading upto the wedding especially if your blessed enough to share the experience with those close to you. Unfortunately Ann Hardings team were unable to match those expectations as their customer service was despicable. For some unknown reason throughout my appointment it was made very clear to my mother and I that everything we liked was rather expensive and quite possibly out of our price range. I can only assume that as the appointment was a walk in and that our attire (casual saturday clothes) may not have lived up to their expectations. I decided that even if there was a dress i liked i was not prepared to spend my money in a shop that could treat my mother and i like something out of pretty woman. Unfortunately for them and to the delight of Berketex Bride they missed out on a sale, bridesmaid dresses and suit hire for 8 men. My wedding cost over £30,000.00 and money was not a problem as they had insinuated. So i guess the last laugh is on me. I did make my complaint known, but as i expected no apology was offered, so if you want rude customer service id recommend shopping here!

what a disappointment! My daugther found her ideal bridesmaid dress here 18 months ago. At the…read moretime, she was prepared to put down a deposit but was informed that was not necessary - there was plenty of time and the dress could be ordered 6 months prior to her wedding in July 2013. A few months later she returned with 3 of her 4 bridesmaids for them to be measured. Again she was not advised to place a deposit but to return 6 months before the wedding to finalise arrangements. Imagine our dismay when in January 2013 she has discovered that the dress has been discontiued. Bridal Rooms did not contact her to advise her of this despite that fact that they had her contact details and they admitted that they had been given notice of dress being discontinued. Neither did they inform her when she made the appointment to go in and finalise the arrangements. When she arrived at the shop with the last bridesmaid to be measured, she was given a different dress, albeit similar to her original choice. Althought she was aware the dress was different [blue rather than teal and with a different neckline] the staff did not mention it until she queried this. The owners did apologise but this does not make up for the disappointment, lack of service and the fact she has to start looking all over again. There is one thing for sure. She will not be buying the dresses from the Bridal Rooms now and will certainly not recommend it to her friends.
