I described the cut I was looking for, and lucky for me they had lots of things cut that way. After trying on a lot of tops, dresses and coats, I ended up with the most amazing coat, made in Germany of all cotton. It is quite fashionable and also functional. It was expensive, but worth every penny. I also got wonderful feeling black leggings, a gorgeous dress from France, some very cool reading glasses and stylish and functional fingerless gloves with leather palms. They also have a home furnishing section, as well as a restaurant which I understand has delicious food. What a find !!!!!! This place is retail therapy at its best for someone who wants clothing with panache, somewhat avant grade, and somewhat bohemian. It might be my favorite all time clothing store!

They specialise is big bold prints, maxi dresses and summer apparel. The quality of the clothes isn't great, but extremely reasonable for the price. It's a great place to impulse buy if something catches your eye. They tend to put their best pieces downstairs (which has always seemed a bit self defeatist!) so make sure you take a wander down there. The shop assistants are extremely smiley and sweet whenever I go - must be all the floral prints and bright colours. A nose around Apricot is an instant mood lifter!

This was such a welcoming place just as the lovely young owner was. She was so gracious and hip as she greeted us with a glass of champagne . Then salmon Bellini topped with caviar,creme fraiche and some other appetizers. So her taste was great as is the selection of hip clothing in this very cool boutique store. To be honest we were lugging our laundry up the square to do , which was not in our plans, so needless to say Gloria wasn't in a very good mood to say the least!! But we couldn't get our dry cleaning done by the hotel in time b4 we leave. So quite frankly I was feeling a bit pissy. After we put our laundry in at the Spruce Goose and proceeded out to the square is when we got invited in. I went from purgatory right up the escalator to heaven. As I always said you know Gloria appreciates great customer service and gracious people like this. Anyone who makes this wonderful world of ours a better place I'm all in! Stop in be greeted with a smile and have a looksee around. Boy I sure did not feel worthy of this stop after I was acting like an inconvenienced diva this morning. God gave me a big reminder that even if your day starts out dreary like it did for Gloria doesn't mean it has to stay that way and kick that pissy Gloria to the curb. So for now on when I dread doin the family laundry I'll have my champagne and caviar ready, that diva is here to stay. Wait till you see the look on their faces when they walk in on me . It is only a small shop, which means clothes rails are close together, so squeezing in and around people does happen, but it's worth breathing in to find that perfect evening outfit.

The name of this shop is pretty misleading; rather than selling vintage clothes (in an instant)…read morethey actually stock 'vintage-inspired' apparel and accessories. Even though this revelation was a bit disappointing, I soon got well and truly over it when I realised just how much I loved their designs. They seem to specialise in feminine subdued colours like pinks, greys and browns as well as bows and flowers. The prices are a bit more expensive than the high street (around £45 - 60 for a day dress) but their sales are phenomenal with up to 75% off. Not the best place for anyone who is a vintage junkie (they may be 'inspired' by retro, but their designs are very trendy) but there are some pretty designs on sale here.

A small sebago store I poked my head into on the way back to the hotel coming from high tea at the…read morepump room. I saw the kate middleton shoes in the window and that they were having sale on men and clothing items and some shoes. Now that I got to see the sebago shoes in person (because I couldn't find them in the US anywhere) I loved them and ordered them the minute I got back to the hotel (couldn't buy them in store because my luggage/suitcase didnt have enough room). The quality of everything in this store is great, same par with russell and bromley quality of shoes (which they have not too far away from this store). Same with clothing, great. Wish I could have bought this one jacket I really liked but it wouldn't have fit into my suitcase (next time lesson learned I'm bringing two suitcases lol- there is just too much good shopping in the UK). For those in the US, think the quality of sperrys (since its the popular boat shoe in the US) but I think the leather quality is a tad better (its softer and probably easier to break it). If your more curious on this you can google and their is more information and discussion boards on this. Sebago is more expensive though than sperrys in general and usually their is a reason for it (but then again, everything in the UK is more expensive in general). Overall, great little sebago store. Im glad I saw one in bath because I never ran into one in london surprisingly. I saw Reiss, Hobbs, Harrods, LK Bennett several times, etc. But never a sebago......wierd lol.

And did you know that this company cuts for three different shapes?? Amazing compared to all the other shops I've been in....lots of clothes all for a shape that doesn't fit me. I put on several outfits and they all fit beautifully. I'm curvy. I was amazed to see my curves on display with so much elegance. If I could, I would!!!!
