Where do I even begin? Some moments in life become part of your heart forever, and this was one of them.
I contacted Robert with a little bit of a crazy request: I wanted to surprise my husband with a vow renewal, and we had only two days to make it happen.
TWO DAYS!!!
Somehow, Robert took this little dream I had in my heart and turned it into one of the most beautiful, emotional, unforgettable days of our lives.
In just two days, he helped arrange everything--a beautiful beach, a limo, an incredible pastor, and photographs that I know I will treasure for the rest of my life. From the first conversation, Robert made everything feel possible. He was honest, kind, patient, affordable, and so incredibly easy to work with. I never felt like I was just another client. I felt like he genuinely cared about making this moment special for our family.
The limo was perfect and took every bit of stress out of the day. We were picked up right on time, taken to the beach, and picked up when it was all over. There was nothing for me to worry about or figure out. I could simply be there--in the moment--with the man I love and the family we've created together.
And then we arrived at the beach.
There are certain moments you wish you could bottle up and keep forever. This was one of them.
Standing there beside the person I've already lived so much life with, looking at him and realizing that after everything--all the ordinary days, the hard days, the beautiful days, the laughter, the tears, and all the life we've built together--I still get to choose him.
And I would choose him all over again.
Robert somehow captured all of that. He didn't just take pictures--he captured us. The laughter. The tears. The hugs. The little looks between us. The moments when we forgot anyone else was there. He captured us dancing together on a beautiful beach, completely wrapped up in the moment.
Those pictures aren't just photographs to me. They're pieces of our story that I get to hold onto forever.
And then there was Pastor Lawrence.
I don't know if I can even put into words what he brought to our ceremony. His singing and ukulele playing were absolutely beautiful, but it was so much more than that. He explained the meaning behind the songs before he sang them, and suddenly every lyric felt like it belonged to us and our story.
But what truly broke my heart open was the way he included my children.
Because in that moment, I realized this wasn't only about two people standing on a beach promising to love each other again.
It was about our family. It was about everything our love had grown into.
Having my children standing there and being included in such an intimate, meaningful moment made the ceremony more special than I ever could have planned on my own. I looked around at the people I love most in this world and realized, this is our life. This is what all those years, all those memories, and all that love created.
We laughed. We hugged. We cried. We danced on the beach.
And for a little while, nothing else in the world mattered. There was just us and my family and the ocean.
And a love that has already been through chapters of life together, standing there saying:
"Forever"
I went into this hoping to surprise my husband with a vow renewal.
What I didn't realize was that I was giving myself a gift, too--the chance to stop for a moment in the middle of this busy life and really look at everything we've built together.
I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Robert captured it all. Robert and Pastor Lawrence encouraged us to simply be ourselves, kept everything relaxed and laid-back, and took the time to have real conversations with us. It never felt rushed or overly formal--it felt personal, meaningful, and completely true to who we are as a family.
So if you're reading this because you're thinking about contacting Robert for a vow renewal, please don't wait. Just do it.
Life moves so quickly. Years pass. Children grow. Ordinary days become memories before we even realize they're gone. Sometimes we need to stop and remember the person standing beside us through all of it--and remind them that after everything, we'd still pick them.
Robert didn't just help us plan a vow renewal.
He helped us create a memory that our family will carry forever.
Robert and Pastor Lawrence, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for the laughter, the tears, the music, the photographs, and the memories.
And most of all, thank you for giving us the most beautiful way to say... forever. read more
