The great food at Brickyard redeems it from its downfalls. For an appetizer we ordered the loaded chips, which I cannot recommend enough! They come with the perfect amount of melted cheese and bacon, and there's plenty to go around for a group of 3-4. For my entree I ordered the Hawaiian Philly. As you can see from the photo it came fully loaded as well, but it wasn't too overbearing as some restaurants tend to do. If you love pineapple and cheese then this sandwich will hit the spot. As mentioned, everything else about the restaurant could be majorly improved. Every time I've gone to Brickyard I've had to wait a significant amount of time for my food to come, and this past weekend was no different. We waited around 30-40 minutes for our food as a party of four, with our appetizer taking around 20-30 minutes. And this is without it being too busy - we didn't have to wait for a table. Our server did come back frequently to refill drinks and check in. The restaurant was also extremely stuffy (and I am typically always cold!) So if I'm starting to sweat while sitting, especially in the middle of March, you know it's hot! All in all, if you're looking for good pizza or sandwiches, Brickyard is a great place to go. We ordered delivery. The delivery time was faster than was predicted which was fine. The pizza had a lot of extra crust with no sauce/toppings. I think 2" of untopped crust all Around is far too much. It was fine but not mouthwatering. Ordered the Pickle yardsticks. I did not see any ranch spices sprinkled on top and instead of the spicy dipping sauce we were given ranch. Pretty bummed on that. I went here tonight with my grandmother and right off the bat the service was incredible! The hostess went above and beyond to be kind and considerate to my grandmother and make sure she was comfortable. I ordered the Hawaiian Pizza. The wait time on the food was very short, no more than 15 minutes. The pizza looked phenomenal out of the oven, and tasted just as good as it looked! There was an explosion of flavor with each bite. Only complaints would be the prices being kind of high for the amount of food you get and I wish the menu had a bit more variety. Great experience! read more

Came here with some friends and sat ourselves as there were no servers in sight. Once seated, they appeared and helped us move tables around, as we were a fairly large group. We started off with some drinks and shared the boneless sweet bbq wings. Let me tell you! They were tender, juicy, sweet glorious little wings. We ordered a few more of that to share because of how great they were! I had the steak salad, which should probably be named a burger salad. The shredded beef, topped with fries salad made me regret getting a boring dressing. I kind of wish I got thousand island or something you put on a burger because that's what I felt like I was eating! Minus the bread. Definitely a place to come hang with friends or even family! This is not the place to go to for pizza. We got the pepperoni pizza and the sauce is a salty sour taste. But the burgers are awesome and the fried pickle sticks were beyond amazing! The burgers and pickle sticks were so good I feel bad giving them a four but the pizza was terrible lol. So that tells u how good the burgers and pickle sticks were. They have a few beers on tap. We went around 6:30pm on a Monday night and the place was practically empty, which was surprising because the restaurant looks nice - brand new with modern furniture. Because of this we got seated quickly and the service was very fast and efficient. I got the phila cheesesteak sandwich with french fries, and a side of mac and cheese, which were all good tasting at best. The french fries were good sized and tasty and they provide ketchup and vinegar to dress them with. A small portion of the steak on the sandwich had obviously missed the seasoning, and tasted like nothing. The macaroni noodles were big and tasted kind of smoky. I live a ways away and I don't think I would go back just for the food, but not a bad experience overall. read more

Food was really good. We waited over 10 minutes for our drink orders to be taken. Then another 30 for our meal orders to be taken. I ordered the grilled chicken blt sandwich, which was really good however the chicken was super small and only covered half of the regular sized bun. Took just a few bites to eat. We went on a Thursday wanting to try somewhere new to us. Were greeted promptly. They weren't to busy at the time. Tried the yard sticks. These were cheese sticks but not your normal breaded ones. These had a bread like wrap around them. Were very good. We also bought a Pizza now if your with more than 2 people I would suggest 2 its 11inches but we could have ate a couple more pieces. The food was excellent, the problem was the service. We were greeted right away and ours orders taken, but then we were only visited when there were dirty dishes to be picked up. I really wanted to get a refill on my coke but the server never asked if I wanted one. She did, however, ask if my wife wanted another beer. Nice clean place, inviting atmosphere. I've eaten here multiple times, for both lunch and for dinner and the food is great! (with one exception, which I'll describe later). The portions are generous, the fries are good, and the burgers and sandwiches even better! Seated right away and service was acceptable. My only complaint was the flat iron steak. It was TOUGH. Flat iron is one of the most tender cuts available, but this one was tough and flavorless. Unless they change their steak provider, I suggest one of their other menu options. It looks like I am the first to review this restaurant and I am glad to do it. I ate there with a friend last night (Saturday) and the restaurant was full but we still got a table right away. We both ordered the penne with sausage and peppers and it was delicious. It came with a salad and garlic bread. Plenty to eat. Another friend came over and said the Monterrey Chicken and the hamburger her husband ordered were also very good. They serve a thin crust pizza baked in the brick oven that looked wonderful. This place has such potential. I want to love it but this was my third visit and its just underwhelming. The decor is rustic and fun. And it is clean. But staff acts bored and more interested in chatting with each other than the customers. Very little in the way of healthy options on the menu. Food is average at best and very salty. I really wanted this place to be good, but after three visits it has missed the mark. My first visit was just after the place opened. There were four people in my party and they forgot to make a pizza for one of us. Also, the service was extremely SLOW. Because they had just opened I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. My second visit, sadly, wasn't much better. They were not busy, but once again the service was extremely slow. My friend and I both tried the pasta. Mine was okay, her's was cold. Not luke warm, COLD. The waitress didn't seem overly concerned about it. She did take it back to have it warmed up, but it was not much better when she brought it back out. My third visit, they were again, not busy, but once again the service was not good. It feels like the wait staff has better things to do. The food is nothing to get excited about. It isn't bad, but it isn't amazing either. I am surprised to see some of the negative reviews. I have visited on multiple occasions, and each time the food and service has been great! Maybe they have hired some better employees since opening?
