If you're looking for a local staple that never disappoints, "The Yard" is the place to go! I have eaten here many times in my life and it is consistently great. Last night I swung in with two other people. We were initially nervous about a wait time since The Polar Express, which is a major event held literally across the street during Christmastime, was occurring. While there was more traffic, our wait time was still very small as they were quickly moving the service along. We sat at the bar while we waited for our table and enjoyed their holiday drink menu. The peppermint martini was divine, as was their Christmas ale. For an appetizer we ordered the Italian nachos. The come LATHERED and the serving size is great. The one in the photo is just a half order (the lighting makes the color look a liiiiittle off - they really are delicious!) We also shared a pizza with the works. Their pizza sauce is always a little sweet without being too much. Our server was extremely friendly and quick, visiting the table the perfect amount. Once again, I was impressed with the speed of service considering how busy they were without them appearing to be rushing. Just excellent. The restaurant is decked out with local memorabilia. The one side of the restaurant has doors that will open up in the summer to transform it into a patio space. It's the perfect small town feel with an authentic dining experience.

Small restaurant in Dennison. Has a great bar with live music on Wednesdays in the Summer. Great service and beautiful bar. I don't drink but everyone looks like they are having a great time. There is an outside patio that is very inviting. You can also have your event catered. The photos inside are pretty cool, they are from the 40s or 50s.

Service was good. Lasagna was great. Atmosphere was good. Margarita pizza had far too much sauce on it. Far too much. Bathrooms were cryptic. If you don't want to clearly label your bathroom, don't roll your eyes when someone uses the wrong one. Instead of a large picture of a person eating pasta where there are lights creating glare, maybe just write words... seems easy. And prices felt inflated. Saving grace here was the servers nice smile and the lasagna.

Great pizza!! Great music. Amazing service. Highly recommend. 10000000%. Get there early. Or call ahead though. They got us in pretty quick on a Sunday night. 20 min wait. During peak Christmas train hours.

Dennison Yard is the only decent place to eat here. It's more of a bar. Their specialty is pizza. It's a good place for watching a game. They get lots of locals and tourists. It looks like one of the few restaurants in Dennison that's not a chain. It's across the street from the railroad museum. This is the reason many tourists come here, to see trains. It seems to be more of a bar. This isn't exactly family friendly. Anyone bringing kids from the museum may just want to go somewhere else. They serve pizza that comes from Pangrazio's. It's a locally owned pizza place that's just a few blocks away. That would be a better place for kids. A problem that may be big for a lot of people was that they couldn't serve alcohol. It appears they lost their liquor license, so that sucks for them. I ordered a calzone. It's about $8 and toppings are a dollar each. This comes with a very good marinara sauce. It was good even though they had no drinks. The food made up for it. This is definitely the best restaurant in town.

This should be more than 3.5 stars. I had the Pittsburgh Pierogies and kids had Ravioli and Meatball Fomaggio. All was exceptional, perfectly cooked. There was no waiting on the wait staff even though the place was packed on a Tuesday evening. And to me the price wS inexpensive. 50%-60% of what I'd pay in NY for same

I was hoping the coloring in the pictures was just off, but the cheese on the pizza and lasagna is indeed American cheese not mozzarella. I don't know if this is a regional thing or what as the restaurant has a large following, but my husband and I were in complete disbelief when the food was set in front of us. My lasagna was absolutely inedible. Not only did the sauce taste like it was literally poured from a hunts can, but there was no additional flavor whatsoever. They didn't even try to add any Italian flavoring, no garlic, nothing. The noodles were so overcooked they were just balls of gumminess mushing in my mouth. Not only was the flavor repulsive, but the mouth feel created an effect of repulsion. When ny husband asked how it was, I replied "I cant talk about it" as I forced down as many bites as possible before I stopped as I was feeling nauseous. He had the same complaints about the taste except that his pizza crust appeared to be literal heels of loaves of bread which was smothered with bland sauce, sprinkled with pepperoni then had the yellow cheese dropped randomly on his "pizza". This sad offering resembled a situation where your friend's mother offers to make you Italian food, but they scrounge around with what they have and do their best. We felt we would insult the restaurant with complaints as unfortunately this is their actual product, not a one off. We didn't read reviews or look at pictures before arriving and wish we had. The photos are exactly what you get. And the food tastes as bland and off as it appears in the pics. Save yourself and don't come here. I have no idea why this place has a following at all. The food is disappointing and not good at all. Maybe this is a regional thing or fans don't know any better. We ate a little then took everything to go and threw it in the trash as we didn't want confrontation. My feelings are mixed between feeling insulted for being served this and feeling sorry for the cooks who think they are producing a quality product.

This location used to be the Canal House which was extremely popular back in the day for their drinks and live music. OTT does an excellent job of preserving the atmosphere that means so much to the community while creating something new for people to enjoy. I talked into the meatball hoagie with a house salad with the house dressing. Can't wait to eat.... The house salad and Italian bread with soft butter were outstanding. As we're temporarily home bound, a friend brought us delicious takeout from Muriale's. We shared two somewhat-similar and tasty entrees, (1) Eggplant Parmesan ($21) featuring lightly breaded and fried eggplant, fresh mozzarella, ricotta, house-made marinara sauce and (2) Veal Parmesan ($24), with lighted breaded and fried veal, fresh mozzarella, and house-made meat sauce. Both entrees were served with a side of spaghetti and tomato-based sauce, house salad, and garlic toast. Note that the house salad was excellent, consisting of fresh greens, onions, cheese, olives, tomatoes, pepperoni, and roasted red peppers. We chose the balsamic vinaigrette as our dressing. (Side salads in the Fairmont/Clarksburg area are often only iceberg lettuce and a shaving or two of carrots). Our initial thought was that the prices were a bit on the higher side. However, in seeing the high quality of the food, the generous portions, and the "extras" that were included (salad, garlic toast, etc.), we feel that it was a good value.
