Today I had lunch here the evening after I had dinner at Dennison Yard (read my review there). Today I ordered a large beef, mushroom and onion pizza with a side salad. The salad was for $2.75 and was very basic with shredded lettuce, a tomato slice , a few croutons and olives. I had their homemade Italian dressing. Like I said it was basic. Reasonably priced but nothing special and I decided it was a 2.5. The pizza arrived and it was good. I didn't eat all of it because of the size but it was good. It's cost was 13.45 and it was enough for two average eaters therefore it was also a good value. I give the pizza a 3.5. This restaurant sits in the downtown portion of Dennison so parking is on the street. Since this isn't NYC that isn't too difficult. The interior of the restaurant is basic and reminds me of a small Italian restaurant in NYC. Decor is diner type. Nothing wrong with it for a casual lunch or dinner but not nearly as nice as Dennison Yard. This is a good place to eat. I am giving it a 3 and would have to say if you have just one Italian meal to eat while here I would pick Dennison Yard over here more for the ambiance and decor of the two restaurants. I give a slight edge in the food to Dennison Yard also. However they are only open for lunch on the weekends so if you want lunch during the week come here. My table service was average. read more

The delivery of are food was very spaced out very long. Got salads and bread, good. Pizza came next, good. Pasta dish came out 10 minutes later and our last pasta dish came out 5 minutes after that. Everyone eating pizza was done before the pasta dishes came out. Kitchen staff needs to communicate better on delivering food. No reason all food items coming out in shifts. Over the food was excellent but timing needs to be fixed. read more

Pangrazio's is a family-owned restaurant that been around for decades, with the exact same recipes also around for decades. If you haven't been in since the 70s, you may notice that really nothing has changed - for the better! I couldn't imagine this place transforming into anything new, it would totally throw off the whole vibe. Once you enter, you get the sense that you'll be treated right. They have a great wait staff that are all super friendly! Even many of the cooks have been around for years! Should I mention the food? This thin crust pizza is the best Tuscarawas County has to offer. The homemade spaghetti is like nothing I've ever tasted. The cheese sticks are a meal on its own (but you'll want to get a pizza to go with it!). If you're ever in Dennison, you'll DEFINITELY want to get a taste of Pangrazios! read more

Oh yes yes yes. I could eat here 7 days a week it's the best pizza you will find. It's really nice that they have a drive up window for pick up they do not deliver but taste the food you will forget that and have no problems driving to grab it. Anyone who has ever lived in the Tuscarawas Valley will always hold a special place in his or her heart for Pangrazio's pizza. Just having started out on yelp, I was unsure where to begin. I have countless reviews rolling around in my head from what seems like an infinite number of food adventures with family and friends. But I knew that if one of my first reviews were to be anything but this establishment, it would be an absolute travesty and betrayal of both my hometown heritage and anyone who has ever been lucky enough to enjoy this staple of small town Italian-American cuisine. As a bit of background, the Pangrazio family opened up the original restaurant in July of 1953. The restaurant was opened as a means of supporting the family after the untimely passing of Joe Pangrazio just two months prior. The family enjoyed much success over the next 26 years, until July of 1979 when the decision was made to sell both the original recipe and name. This needs noted, because Dino Pangrazio will later return to his roots in Dennison, OH to open up a similar institution, The Dennison Yard in 1999. It is really impossible to review one restaurant without keeping the other in mind. While Pangrazio's offers a typical diner climate suited to those guests with children, the Yard portrays a pub-like atmosphere with a full bar and multiple draught choices lending itself better to a night out with friends. Now for the food. Pangrazio's offers a wide array of Italian-American delectables which one would expect to find in the immigrant-heavy areas ranging from Western PA to the Ohio Valley. Honestly though, ordering anything but the pizza or homemade spaghetti is actually considered a mortal sin...and if it isn't, it certainly should be. In addition, the proper technique when ordering is to order the large while in the restaurant and then the small or medium to take home with you...trust me on this. It's difficult to properly review a food that is this fundamental to the American diet. What can be done, however, is to provide testimony. I have personally known friends, acquaintances, and even met complete strangers in the restaurant who have moved as far away as the West Coast who return home simply for this food. My mother would commonly return home from Chicago, Washington, and Miami simply to taste the pizza that an entire community had grown up loving. When she was pregnant and not able to fly home, desperately in need of comfort food, she would have the ingredients mailed to her (and she probably never wanted me to save that for all eternity in cyberspace...Hi Mom! Love you!). Lastly, brothers and sisters have jealous tiffs when they discover that their parents and siblings had gone to Pangrazio's without them. This is without a doubt the BEST pizza in all of Ohio. If you live within driving distance, take a trip. Enjoy the rolling hills and changing leaves this autumn, or wait for winter to take the children and enjoy the Polar Express ride at the local train depot. You won't regret it. read more

This is probably the best pizza in the area. Their crust is thin and slightly crunchy. The sauce is sweet and has a good flavor. They don't really use enough cheese, especially for the price of the pizza and sometimes the cheese can be burnt on the edges instead of caramelized. Their sausage used to be amazing and sweet but now it's completely peppered and spicy to the point that it can take away from the dish. read more
