I feel like Applebee's atmosphere has dropped in quality over the years, but their food holds up for a major chain restaurant. Swung in two nights ago and was sat immediately. I ordered a whiskey sour to drink and my mom ordered the sangria. The sangria was delicious and sweet! The quesadilla burger is to die for, but it is a little messy! My mom ordered the bourbon street chicken and shrimp, which is her usual at Applebee's. For desert she ordered the butter pecan blondie while I had the brownie bite. Their deserts never miss! I've been to this location a few times and the service is pretty consistent. My experience has never been bad, but never exceptional either. All in all, you're getting what you expect from an Applebee's at this stop. Consistent but not too much to write home about. read more

My granddaughter picked here for her birthday lunch. She got a chicken sandwich, mozzarella sticks, and an Oreo shake. She seemed to enjoy it. I got the chicken Caesar salad, and it was OK. My granddaughter enjoyed it, so that's all that matters. read more

One of your servers named Jen called me a cheapo because all I wanted was a water and wasn't hungry. Then she charged my friend for extra sauce. I have NEVER seen someone charged for extra sauce. Then she gave my other friend her receipt but said "she didn't want to dig for the 56 cents so she never gave it to her." We waited for our food for a long time, over 30 minutes, and then it was cold when it arrived. Several things were wrong, but only minor stuff, so not big deal. Also, my veggies didn't come until I was done with my wrap. When told the waitress she turned around and left while I was in the middle of my sentence explaining what was wrong. She came out with hot fries, but we were all done already! The manager Sean came out and talked to us, "making it right". The waitress never came back. We needed to-go boxes and had to go find them. Ordered takeout and literally the worst food we have ever been served anywhere. The burger patties were burnt so badly the dogs refused to eat them! Top to bottom, it was appalling. I completed a short email detailing the specifics and was contacted by the manager who was extremely apologetic and stated that we would be reimbursed in the form of gift cards. Applebee's used to be my favorite place to eat, we'd always grab dinner here every few weeks. I now refuse to go there. The restaurant is always dirty, the staff is not the nicest, and their food has gone down hill. Last time I stopped in was for Father's Day and they tried to serve me very undercooked chicken breast. I sent it back and the next one they brought out was still pink in the middle. I ended up not eating it and talked to the manager who didn't even offer to comp it. I'm not a picky person but I would like to have my food cooked properly when I'm paying for it. read more

This Applebee's has been an occasional go to for us. It will be no more. Since our last visit, the decor has been updated and the menu completely gutted and recreated. I'm always glad to see a restaurant invest in its facilities and menu. This, however,appears to have been a change with no follow through. We ordered a steak salad with French onion soup and a smothered chicken breast over mashed potatoes with French onion soup. The waitress clarified that we wanted our soup out first. Twenty minutes later she arrived with our main course, dropped it off and was about to go when I pointed out that we never got our soup. She asked, almost accusingly, Didn't they bring that out already? No, i assured her, "they" had not. She went into the kitchen and came back ten minutes later to say the manager said the soup had been frozen, so they had apparently decided for us that we didn't want it and then failed to tell us. She also said the manager would be over to talk to us. No manager ever arrived. My steak salad had three small slivers of steak with no flavor and the texture of rubber bands, which I was left to cut with a butter knife, as that was all we were given. On top of my salad were what were presumably supposed to be tortilla strips. They were raw and had the distinct texture of uncooked noodles. As I picked the first bite of them out of my teeth where they were rather solidly lodged, my fiance made a face and said her potatoes were ice cold. Perhaps the soup was just forgotten and the potatoes were the frozen food item??? I flagged down the waitress from her spot by the bar with the rest of the close to ten snacking staff members and told her to pass along to the kitchen that either the noodle tortilla strips were supposed to be cooked or they were extremely stale so that they wouldn't make their way to another guest's plate. She appeared irritated. After we ate what we could of our meals, she brought out the check, which still included the missing soup. read more

I've visited this place, The prices are a little higher than what you expect. The crowd is very heavily on the 20's age group or parents with teens. They run specials that is good for the crowds. They have a full service bar. The food is next to being excellent. But serve smaller portions than what I'm used to get to eat. Crappy service from the moment we sat down. Server was rude and never came around to check how our food was or if we needed refills on drinks. Only when an order was put in for a refill on the card machine at our table was one brought to us, even though the other tables around us were tended to by the same waitress. To top it off, nothing was cleared from our table (appetizer plates, empty cups) when entrees were brought out to the table. Not to mention the end of the bag chip crumbs that came out with one of the appetizers ordered. Been to three different Applebee's locations and have had the same low quality service at all three. It's clear to me that this is a chain wide issue for Applebee's.
