The staff were friendly (although spoke such limited English that in order to ask for something to be with beef instead of chicken I had to ask in Spanish). The queso with the chips was incredibly watery as was the salsa. Chips had no salt. On the up side the portions were huge. Definitely enough for 2 full meals. The unfortunate part was they didn't reheat well. We were visiting from out of town so maybe we'd just split one of the giant meals next time. They were also very cheap which was great. It was by no means a bad experience, it was just average, which is why I'm giving it a solid 3 stars. My favorite local Mexican restaurant. The food is well prepared and moderately priced. Service is also very good. Nicely decorated, too.

The food is good, but it's pretty cold inside. We bring jackets every time. So I would wear pants and bring a jacket if you have one.

This WAS one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. We hadn't been there for some time so we were really anticipating the amazing food. The smell from outside the open kitchen door was almost enough to make me get back I the car, but unfortunately we still went in. Hubby got the 2X burrito and I got ground beef enchiladas. And found out what that smell was. It wasn't spoiled food., but the ground beef was dripping in grease and a red sauce that tasted like sloppy joes. Horrible. The rice was ok. They revamped the interior, which is awesome, and our server was obviously inexperienced. Not so awesome, but everyone has to start somewhere and no penalty for that. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have street tacos (corn tortillas, grilled chicken with onions, cilantro, and rice) or tacos/burritos El Pastor. But what I ordered was decent. The beans are really good. Rice is just OK. Ibgave it 4 stars instead of 3 because my husband got the arrow con shrimp and it's the first time he's liked Mexican food. Ordered takeout was told 25 minutes 45 minutes later I received my order from a young woman with an attitude. After waiting for 10 minutes past the 25 I inquired as to how long it was going to be the hostess with the attitude ( and no name tag) nastily replied "well we're really busy" I have been frequenting Que Pas since they opened and have noticed a steady decline in service since the Carrollton establishment opened and have had several poor service experiences in the past year. What happens at Que Pasa? Management undermines their employees and lectures their customers, apparently. Came in for a leisurely dinner. Ordered drinks, dinner. Asked our server whether the guacamole appetizer was good. Hearing that "a lot of people like it", we ordered it. It was bad. It was a splat of avocado paste on a saucer. One bite convinced us to send it back. Bless our server, she immediately promised to remove it from the check. So, we stayed. Ordered dessert, etc. When the check comes, the charge for the guacamole is still on there. We remind them that they promised to take it off. The manager informs us that, 'where she comes from, if you order something, you pay for it'. We tell her that the guacamole was bad. That our server promised to remove it. That we had ordered more stuff because of this. We get a repeat of the lecture. Apparently, whether the food is any good is no concern of hers. We are told to 'leave and don't come back'. So, we do the math ourselves, subtract the guacamole, add a tip, leave the cash on the table. The manager got one thing right. We won't be back. (What I do regret is that our server will probably never get her tip. The manager refused to let us see her again. That manager is sure to confiscate the tip and blame the server to boot. ) read more

It's really difficult to find decent Mexican food around here. This place served us the best Mexican dishes we've had in the area in quite a while! The crazy nachos were HUGE and filled with grilled steak and chicken. The grilled onions were perfectly caramelized. I barely put a dent in them, so this could easily be shared between three people. My mom got the chicken soup, which may not sound like much -- but -- it was incredibly good. The chicken broth was so savory. It was loaded with white meat chicken and fresh vegetables. It comes with a heaping serving of pico de gallo -- also clearly fresh. I highly recommend Que Pasa and will definitely be back soon! read more

I've been here several times and have tried to eat my way through there menu but I seem to keep gravitating back to the pork tips they offer in several dishes as an option. Food tastes fantastic. Most of the time. Service is absolutely awful. We Ordered our "normal" Chorizo order and had barely enough queso to cover the bottom of the pan. We called the store to ask if we could walk down and get more cheese as we know things happen. Was chastised over the phone, then told "we will help you THIS time but I'm being told you received our typical serving size." We then walked down to get what we thought was more cheese. The manager took us to the kitchen. Weighed 8 oz of cheese and told us it was the same. When we told him that this was half what we were given. He told me that if I wanted my money back I could have it. The last time I came in to sit and eat, I was ignored blatantly because they had what seemed like family in. The waitress rolled her eyes when I went to the counter and asked for more water and chips. And was visibly disgusted and whispering when I nursed my daughter under my shirt.
