Hit or Miss describes Que Pasa. Is it the best Mexican you'll ever have? No, but it's the best Mexican in Carrollton, although the only competition is Taco Bell. The bar is always full, but it's one of the only places in town to get a high test beverage. The new indoor patio area brings it up from a 2 to a 3 in my book. The queso fondito is always good, but the menu choices are all pretty much derivations of the same thing. read more

Nice decor, service prompt and efficient. The refried beans were purée no visible bean. (runny and thin) Chimichangas were not deep fried , served in a flour tortilla as if it were a burrito. Rice bland and boring. The salsa tasted homemade with chunks of onion and peppers ( we had to add hot sauce ) but it was tasty. Chips were light and crispy. Ordered the Espinoza special. Chicken with chorizo and "grilled" pineapple with cheese. This is my go to order at most Mexican restaurants. This one gets one star at best. I'm probably being too generous with one star. Worst chicken I've ever had and I'm certain the chorizo was simply ground beef with some seasoning. The pineapple wasn't grilled and no doubt it was straight out of the can. On a good note the chips and salsa were excellent! Don't bother stopping in if you want quality food! read more

Don't waste your money & time eating/drinking here. Overpriced drinks that taste terrible. Service is usually bad as well especially if it's the manager. You can tell he hates his job and the clientele in Carrollton. All the food tastes the same- which is very little flavor and sooooo sloppy. Air Conditioning rarely works to be comfortable for customers. They're the only restaurant in Carrollton serving dinner & full bar which is the only reason they're still in business. They have zero competition, and it shows. Such a shame. read more

The food was very good. I chose the pick two dinner option that included a tamale and chili relleno. The tamale was very authentic and is made in house according to our waitress. The chili relleno was also very good and cheesy. The lime margarita was a little too sour. The service was very good and attentive. The environment was clean and had authentic Mexican decor. I would eat here again if in the area especially for the the pork tamale again! read more

Best local eatery! So many great times here spent with family and friends! The food and atmosphere are great.

Last time we ordered take out: two steak fajitas and a seafood salad. The fajitas were much smaller than they have been in the past and they did not provide tortillas. The seafood salad was still a great size, but the scallops were like rubber. I'm not sure what happened because they used to be phenomenal. I have also heard rumors not to eat the table chips. Delicious! I was so happy to find this place! It was delicious and I went twice in a week. The people were nice and the menu is gigantic so everyone will find something to eat here. There's a vegetarian section on the menu, which I loved. The guacamole was fresh and delicious as was the salsa. I got veggie fajitas and there were really delicious! Full of all sorts of veggies and it was full of flavor. I got takeout both times and waited inside while my food was prepared. My food took under 15 minutes both times and both times the food was excellent. I highly recommend you check this place out if you're ever in the area! read more

Spacious place to come to. Our family of 8 came in and was greeted by a kind man who ended up serving us. I was surprised at the varieties they offered. I had the vegetarian fajitas that came with cauliflower, peppers, onions, broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini and carrots. It was tasty and not overdone. The bowl it came in was huge but loved it since it kept my veggies warm. My other family members got a burger (I have no idea why they'd get burger at a Mexican joint .. lol), tropical chicken, enchilada, etc. and no complaints! read more

Well the food is pretty good, I went with the fajitas and a side of guacamole the first time I was here and two large margaritas, oddly didn't even get a buzz but thought nothing of it , came tonight and had the xxl burrito which was good but again had two margaritas and again, couldn't even taste any alcohol, I mean are these NA MARGARITAS??? So I mentioned it to the waitress and she Brought me a shot to add to the margarita which I was charged for and was $1 less than the margarita itself..... not impressed I can get a flavored sugar drink for 99 cents at the gas station. My grandson and I went to this restaurant a few weeks ago it was great would have given it 5 stars. We went again last night was seated near the window could not eat our food so many flies. I went here for lunch and there was a huge selection of lunch specials. The decor is awesome -- walking in it just felt fun! Our waiter, Mario, was very attentive.
