I used to live 5 minutes away from Bricks and loved ordering their pizzas. Their specials are great deals, especially their 1-topping manager special and two for Tuesday special. Now that I live in Manassas, I'm no longer within their delivery area and that makes me sad. I'm far from a pizza snob, and I don't think where you live matters when it comes to great pizza (NY, Chicago, etc). I've had my worst pizza in NY, and my best pizza in AZ. With Bricks, it's just good food, plain and simple. There's something about the cheese and sauce that Brick's uses that makes their pizzas taste so good. Their website says they use 100% mozzarella, but maybe it's a mix of mozzarella and provolone? Whatever it is, it works. The crust is nice and chewy, and they're generous with the toppings. They may be a little more expensive than the chain stores, but it's worth it. The only thing that would make Bricks better would be if they used a coal or wood fired brick oven. Brick's delivery guy can run over my parents and entire family if it means the pizza is delivered on time. ;-) read more

My wife saw this place delivering pizza to our neighbor and suggested we try it out. I recommend CALLING them to see if they deliver to you; because when I checked online and put in my address it said they don't deliver to my area, but when I called and asked they said that they do. We ordered a medium Hawaiian, a medium Pepperoni Feast, Cinnamon Sticks and a 2 liter Coke. Total was $34. I ordered ahead, for it to be delivered at 6pm. Door knocked at 5:55pm, right on time! Delivery driver was extremely nice. My first thought was it smelled great. It's pizza though. But I've had some pretty crappy pizza and smelled some HORRIBLE "pizza". The Pepperoni Feast was greasy. My wife doesn't like greasy pizza, but she dabs all of her pizza anyway. I thought that was great. Pepperoni is pretty greasy itself, so it make sense the pizza would be a little more greasy than usual since it's double Pepperoni. I loved it though (I do not and will never dab my pizza). The Hawaiian was amazing. I love Hawaiian Pizza. Pineapple and ham. This one I think had double cheese. With the Hawaiian you could really taste the "sweetness" of the red pizza sauce below the cheese. It wasn't too overpowering but it was a nice surprise and went very well with the overall taste of the pizza. I REALLY like this pizza. The Cinnamon Sticks were good. It was soft, yet crispy in spots and sprinkled with sugar cinnamon. It also came with an icing container. It was A LOT of icing, too much I think, but then again some people might like a lot of of white icing on their cinnamon sticks, so I can understand why they'd give more rather than less. Bricks Supreme Pizza Is a perfect blend of Italian sausage, black olive, ground beef, mushrooms, pepperoni and white sweet onion. Got it twice now and we were as impressed on the second go round. It's especially good with a can of Random Row, Pack Line Pilsner, purchased elsewhere. But it also hit all the spots with a Diet Coke from the shop. I ordered a pizza online, was told a time to pick up. I arrived at the pizza shop at the designated time and saw a sign that said on Tuesdays (the day of order) one can get a free pizza with the order of a large/extra large. I told the cashier that the website said nothing about this deal, she said that's because I ordered online. So apparently one is penalized for online orders. She said my pizza wasn't ready yet and to wait in my car. I no more than got into my car when I receive a text saying the pizza place was busy so my order wouldn't be ready for another half hour!! I had a meeting in a half hour, canceled the order. With suggested tip I had paid $25+ for one 14 inch pizza. Far too expensive for such crappy service. I will not be returning. read more

I ordered the Large Classic American Pizza through the Eat24 app. After for what seemed forever, I called the restaurant and was answered by a guy named Xander, nice guy. He told me that it was one of their busiest fridays of the year, and that he was very sorry for the delay. He looked up my address and told me my pizza was on its' way, so I was happy. Totally understandable, though. As a cook who also works in a restaurant, I can understand the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. The delivery man was nice enough to put up with my 2 bickering chihuahuas when he knocked on the door, and the transaction was easy. The pizza was good, REALLY good. Let me break it down for you. Tomato sauce: A little sweeter for my taste, but complemented the mushrooms. Cheese: Stringy, hot, delicious goodness. As you can see, the cheese surrounded the meats and mushrooms, cushioning them in a warm universe of flavor. I'm sorry, it was just amazing. Pepperoni/Italian Sausage: Your average pepperoni, not as crispy as Pizza Huts' but not as soggy as others, just right. Now, the sausage was the real deal. Savory, sweet and succulent, just like an Italian sausage should be. Crust: Meh. Could've been better, it was too dry. All of this goodness came in at about 20 bucks, which is expensive compared to the other types of pizzas that you can get around Centreville for a fourth of the cost (Little Caesar's lol). I wish it were a little less expensive but you can't compare a Brick's Pizza to a Little Caesar's Pizza after all. TL;DR: Delivery came in a little late, pizza was a-MAZE-ing. So, I've been ordering from them for quite a while. I purposely waited before reviewing them because I know that sometimes, restaurants would be great at first time, and then after awhile, it dwindles down more and more but yet you remember that deliciousness like the first time, so your mind gets clouded more and more as you keep ordering again and again hoping to taste those flavor crystals bursting in your taste buds. THIS is the place that has held up their consistency EVER time we ordered! They are indeed the best American style pizza in the Centreville area. We've had others around the area and they just don't have that same flavor in the pizza dough. There is some magic in Brick's pizza dough. I love to bake bread, and so believe me when I tell you, their pizza crust is the BEST part of the pizza. I frown on those who throw that part of the pizza away!! We've always gotten the veggie pizza with pepperoni's and they never skimp out. I also get the Brick's supreme and its also great. We've ordered from them around 5 times now and every single time, their quality of their ingredients has always looked great and tasted great!! Not once have we ever looked at our pizza and said "hm.... there is less of *blank* this time than last time." Again we've tried other places that rivals Brick's pizza.... they can compare... but Brick has some magic in their pizza dough. We tried Brick's after a short hiatus...not sure why we stopped ordering from Brick's as the pizza is delicious and the customer service is the best! The hiatus is over! We had a thin crust and they didn't skimp on the toppings, so many pepperonis with plenty of cheese, flavorful sauce and a crisp and chewy crust! The wings were also great...plenty of flavorful sauce. The best part of the story is the customer service. Before handing the pizza to me, our delivery person picked up the packages at our front door, handed them to me, then handed the pizza to me and thanked me for not cooking :-). As she was giving the pizza to me, she heard my dog bark, pulled a dog biscuit from her pocket and asked if my dog would like a biscuit. My dog was very excited! I grew up in a small town, and in that small town we had a local pizza place that was absolutely amazing! I worked there in college and I got to see first hand why the pizza was so good. No one ever bought from anywhere else because their wasn't another pizza place that could hold a candle to how good this place really was. The owner had spent so much time trying out different recipes and asking the customers what they want and their opinion on the current recipe. He adjusted, and adjusted, and kept on adjusting until no one had anything else to add to how it could be better. He nailed it! He finally had the perfect recipe, and it worked! I'm pretty sure everyone in town ordered from him at least once a week! Moving to this area from that small town, I really missed that great taste that I was missing from back home and so I started trying all the local places in this area to try and find something even remotely similar. A pizza that is not only consistent, but makes you smile even before you order it, because you know it's going to amazing! A little treat for you and your family! I'm so glad that I finally found that pizza place in this area! I've been ordering from Bricks for a little over a year now and I've never been disappointed! My boyfriend and I ordered from Bricks twice. They were both the garden pizza XL. The first one was delicious and we ate the whole thing in one sitting. The toppings were perfect, the sauce was just the right amount, the crust was a tasteless, but the rest of the pizza made up for it. I would have been 4 star, 3.5 for pie and extra for service. The second time we ordered, you would have thought it was during Super Bowl Sunday and not 3pm during the week. The pizza was COLD! We are across the street, what the hell. Well that delicious pizza we had the week before did not taste good cold. We both forced down a couple of slices and then I was saddled with the thing. I will not be ordering again. Pizza was pretty good but the printed menu I just recently received in the mail (which is the same menu as in the store) is apparently outdated with old pricing. The printed and very detailed menu also states you have to phone in the order to get the Free Pizza Tuesdays special so there's absolutely no reason to refer to the website for the alleged updated current pricing. Bricks is a very good quality pizza. The negative reviews have to have been written by competitors of Bricks to try and spike them. I've been in the restaurant biz since 1979 and I know what ingredients they use--very costly and very high quality. The crust is very much like a high quality Italian bread dough and the sauce is made with Stanislaw brothers tomatoes--quite simply some of the best quality farm grown and canned on site tomatoes anywhere. I ordered delivery from Bricks last night. I was really excited because I've heard good things. I ordered their spicy chicken pizza and pizza with half cheese and half veggies. When the pizza got there as soon as the guy handed me my pizza he said... Where is the cash for my tip? Mind you I still had two pizza boxes in my hand. He didn't even say hi or here are your pizzas. He handed them to me in silence. I stood there dumbfounded because I have NEVER had someone say that after delivering food. I have ALWAYS tipped the delivery person but I've never had one actually say... "Where is the cash for my tip?" I gave him $5. I don't know if that was good enough but I didn't care. I see why they offer online ordering. Calling in an order is disastrous. We decided to try this place based on yelp reviews. I phoned in a carry-out order, and as soon as I hung up remembered that I'd ordered the wrong size - L vs. XL. I immediately called back and a new guy answers. Explain the mistake and asked to switch. Put on hold. Repeat - explain and hold. Finally he comes back to say I can't get that and that they don't have XL size. I said I saw it on yelp, and he says they do have that size after all, but I can't have it. What?! He says I can't get the carry out deal at that size. I didn't know about a deal. I didn't care about a deal. I just needed a bigger pizza. Put on hold again, and when he comes back, I ask him up just cancel it. Call up Ciro's and picked up great pizzas 10 minutes later. Maybe it's better in person or online. It can't be worse. One star for terrible customer service. Can't comment on the pizza because we never got that far. read more

The ONLY reason this isn't a 5 star review is because I am extremely partial to true New York-style pizza. Brick's makes their crust a little different (slightly thicker) than the floppy NY kind, but man are their pies AWESOME! After living in Centreville for just over three years, and seeing the delivery cars for Brick's scooting around every other day, I decided to FINALLY give these guys a try. Being from illadelph, I actually consider myself a pizza connoisseur. Self-proclaimed or not, I know good pizza...great pizza...and dope pizza. I also know when it sucks [Domino's] . This past Saturday I decided to step out of my delivery menu box and try someplace I've never ordered from. Brick's. SOOOO glad I did! While it's not my traditional pizza style favorite, Brick's is in the top 2 of my go-to pizza joints here in NoVa. Not only was the online ordering process uber easy-peasy, and not only did my pizza come extremely quickly, piping hot, in the hands of a friendly delivery guy (despite it being 7 degrees outside), but it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the whole wheat multi-grain crust topped with pepperoni and italian sausage and I'm here to tell you, the toppings were QUALITY. The italian sausage actually looked and tasted liked real italian sausage fat links that were chopped up. THAT is the real deal! I wanted to try the wings but I wasn't starving like usual, so I just went with a pie. Next time I'll try some more toppings and sides; and believe me there will be many next times. I'm proud to call myself a Brick's customer and I will support this establishment as long as they keep crankin out pizza like this.
