It seems to be a busy place as both times I've gone in they've been out of stock with what I'm looking for. However typically later in the week it will be there. The prices are reasonable. Towards the end of the year they have great sales. I got a few different games that were cheaper than Amazon's prices. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I'd give this place a 5 Star but twice they've been out of stock for the board games I was looking for. Otherwise they have a great selection. They also have a lot of unique Pops! and pop culture merchandise. A lot of the stuff they have I haven't seen at other stores. Definitely check this place out while you're in the mall. You never know what kind of discounts and sales they're having!

The new space is cool, I guess, but let's get real: B&N is no longer a bookstore, strictly speaking. It makes most of its money on its cafe, and when it obtained this much larger space it didn't expand the book and magazine selections. It expended the toy, puzzle, board game, LP record, stationary, and other sections. It's practically a leisure-time general store now. The LP selection isn't half-bad, but I suspect it's all digital-to-analog crap. At least they still sell books and magazines, though even there it's changed. Surprise, surprise, the religion section (focused on evangelical Christianity) is huge. Looking for a book on the historical Jesus? You'll find the most popular, unscholarly examples here--likely at least one by a local author! On the other hand, if you're looking for a book by well-regarded California author TC Boyle, you'll currently find a single volume of one of his least-regarded novels ("East is East") on the shelves. A decade ago they'd have had 10 of his books to choose from. Still a pretty good spot to kill a couple of hours, except when they're having storybook readings to kids in the cafe on Saturday mornings. It gets LOUD.

Then we start all over with new products on Thursdays. Inventory changes every week what we have and which major retailer it comes from online and store fronts. Each week we have something for everyone and at prices anyone can afford, and we don't mean last seasons trends. Its common place for our customers to be shocked when they find an item at Price Drop that they have been really wanting to buy either from the online retail giant or brick and mortar mogals but haven't been able to justify the splurge of $40- $80. in this economy for something that is not a necessity. They are thrilled to find out that we have it and depending on the day of the week and not the retail price of the item it ranges from $9-$3 dollars. We are a local family owned retail store they really wants to be known as the best deal in town. So we work really hard to source the best products and selection at the very best prices. So we can pass the saving on to the consumer we eliminate the typical labor cost associated with processing new inventory and displaying it on shelfs in stead we toss most of it all into bins and everything is priced the same excluding the high roller racks and items which are priced at 50% or below MSRP.
