This is one of the last old time hobby shops. They have an amazing selection and assortment of items. The staff is mom and son they know of and where it is. Totally cool place if you're a model builder or an RC enthusiast. Well worth the stop if you're in the Redding area. My daughter lives there and any time I visit her I visit this place. read more

The owners seem to think Covid is a farce and operate their store without wearing masks, asking other customers to wear masks, leaving the door open for proper ventilation or providing for sanitation at check out (eg a purell pump and separate clean/ used pens.) While they maybe very knowledgeable about their products, we left immediately because it was an unsafe environment. read more

The best hobby store ever. The whole staff knows everything about RC planes, RC cars, RC boats.

Owner wired up and smoked my brother's esc and rx in his new Xmaxx 8s. He admitted that he had fried it but refused to make it right and pay for it. Instead he insisted that he call Traxxas and have them do something about it. Now he's in for a $250 parts cost because of the uneducated owner's mistake. This is and has been, by far the best RC/Hobby shop I've ever been to. Family owned and operated, and they really know their stuff! I just moved to the area, they happened to be the only hobby store open in Sunday, I needed to replace my radio, they didn't have it in stock but we're happy to order it for me. They were very friendly and cordial the whole time, they even have an airstrip you can fly your model aircraft right behind the store! Best hobby shop ever. It's one of the only actual hobby shops left anywhere. When I first walked in there, there was stuff strewn about and it was a mess, and I loved it instantly. They always have everything you need and if they don't have it, you don't need it. (That's their motto). If I were to go to any hobby shop anywhere, it would be this one. They have a very helpful staff and are always there when you need anything. They have some dogs and they are really nice and don't bite at all. The puppy they just got is also really cute. In their backyard they have an off-road track for your truck, a runway for your planes and an on-road section for your on road cars. They are a small business and are family owned in pretty sure and they are really nice and helpful. I would also go there to get upgrades for my 2wd rustler and they would have everything for it. They sell a wide variety of cars and crawlers and planes and other stuff for your hobbys. They are local for where I am and I would rather go here than order off Amazon or go to a website made by some creepy guy who you don't know. Once again, best hobby shop ever and I would go here everyday if I could. That's why I gave it five stars. read more
