Many friends had warned me I would have a big cleanup job to do after the sanding and refinishing, but thankfully there was no cleanup. I highly recommend you take advantage of the option to have the plastic hangup and cleanup as part of the job. The whole crew was wonderfully responsive and professional from the initial quote from Cliff, Leigh Ann's scheduling and answering my many questions, and my sanding and refinishing team led by James. There were numerous gouges and scrapes in the drywall, torn paint and texture, and one section of baseboard was broken badly enough that my husband had to replace it himself. What was most disappointing was that no one mentioned any of the damage while the work was being done. We only discussed it after I brought it to the owner's attention. He did provide a $250 credit toward repainting, which I appreciated, but it doesn't fully cover the time and work required to repair everything. I would encourage anyone hiring them to inspect the surrounding walls and trim carefully before and after the installation. Better communication and more care in protecting the rest of the home would have made this a much better experience.
