Amber is an awesome esthetician! I was in the market to get some peeling done on this face of mine…read more I had a wedding that was coming up and per my wedding checklist; I needed to get some facials in a few months prior to that big day! I have had peels before and I was in seeking out spas that had packages, because I know for a fact, one does not do the trick and you need to do a series of chemical peels to get that amazing glow! This happened to be the spot for me. They had a special going where you buy 3 peels and you get the fourth free. So I called and made an appointment with Amber. I had laugh lines and crow's feet that I was rather concerned about and I wanted to get rid of some acne that I had going on. Come on, I am in my thirties, why do I still have acne? Darn hormones!!! Amber suggested that I get ten peels done at a rate of one a week until the week before my wedding, and then do one monthly. Her suggestion worked out perfectly, as well as the different home remedies that she suggested. My makeup feels like it goes on much more smoothly, I also feel as if my skin is glowing again! For awhile, I just felt like there was no way to get that glow, and now I have it! I feel much more comfortable in my skin! Amber is absolutely awesome! I totally recommend her!!! I liked her so much that I booked a gentleman's facial for the hubby and he also felt the same way! Hopefully he doesn't get addicted like me, we would probably go broke! LOL. Seriously, check Amber out!!!

The filler started shifting upwards beyond my natural lip line and I figured getting more filler would correct the problem. I had a consult with Shelly and she recommended we dissolve the filler and start from scratch. She is so knowledgeable and I'm really happy to start new with her! The same day, I had my first Kybella treatment under my neck (about 20 needle pokes). So many needle pricks that day, I usually get really nervous with procedures but Shelly kept me calm and most importantly she numbed EVERYTHING before injecting the lip dissolving acid and Kybella on my neck. I was not in pain vs. the surgeon down the street in Longmeadow who did not even give me numbing cream before my lip filler. Shelly mentioned this is standard in her procedure and that alone should be a reason to book an appointment with her. I'm looking forward to coming back next week for filler that looks natural again!

My review is for the massage services at Scruples…read more I was in the need for immediate relief of tension in my shoulders and neck, and had no luck getting a last minute appointment until I called Scruples. The deep tissue massage is pretty expensive here (more so than Swedish massage - most places charge the same), but the space upstairs was very nice - nice furniture with a homey feel. Mimi, my therapist was excellent. I've had many massages and often you feel like they're going through a routine, but Mimi really custom tailored our session to my specific needs. I could tell that she really wanted to make me feel better and feeling that intention is important. I've only been once so far, but intend to go back for myo-fascial work. I probably would've given it 5 stars but it was quite a bit more expensive.
